One of the best p2p platforms for investors
I've used various p2p lending platfoms, and have now been with easyMoney for a year. The platform is easy to use, and the target returns have been achieved without fail. So far, so good!

Loan parts in IFISA rather large
About IFISA
Administration was straightforward, but not much diversification of funds.
Having used Funding Circle, I was expecting each loan part to be about £100, rather than the £5,000 to £10,000 that my money got allocated to single loans.
Let's hope they don't default ...

As part of our diversification process you may initially be allocated a small number of loans in order to get your money earning interest however we will then start diversifying your investment further over time.
This process happens automatically as new loans are added to the platform or when we find opportunities to swap some of your holdings with other investors where you both benefit from further diversification, so you should see those loan parts being split over the coming weeks.

Good P2P site with great returns
Good P2P site with great returns, would give it five stars but dose take a while for funds to be allocated to a loan. Otherwise absolutely no complaints and would recommend.

Up to now all good.
Up to now, a few months, it all looks good with a 5% interest rate as £20,000 was invested in an ISA. Account opening was easy, money transfer really good with the system they use.
Web site is simple to follow with just enough info visible and more if you want to dig deeper. Monthly return is shown and can be withdrawn if required.
The only slight issue was the time the money waited for investment, when I enquired by phone was informed one week in reality it took about 3 weeks to fully invest to monies.

The website is not that easy to follow or understand & after making 2 phone calls I finally got a call back to say it would take more time than I had anticipated to invest my money.

We are sorry to hear you are finding things a bit difficult to understand and weren't able to get an immediate response.
Initially it can take a short while to get all your funds invested whilst we allocate it to loans. As a peer to peer lender we have to match your funds to borrowers, which is not always instant as we need to carefully prepare new loans to invest in. Once you are invested initially we can then diversify you further across more loans over time as they become available.
We understand most of your funds are now invested so hopefully this is now resolved.
We pride ourselves on our customer services so will investigate why you did not get a response in a satisfactory time period.

A calculated risk
I feel my money is at risk with Easy money, but the interest rate is 6 times more than I am getting in more secure accounts, so it is a calculated risk worth taking.

We are constantly reviewing our rates and try to set them based on both the risk and also our ability to find borrowers which meet our lending criteria. Whilst some platforms may be offering higher rates it is important to assess the risk and quality of loans in addition to the headline rate.
At the time of writing no loan on our platform has ever made a loss, and this is a record we are striving to maintain. Please note that past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

Easy to operate p2p account
Easy to operate p2p account. Regular monthly interest payments. Little detail is given of individual loans so trust must be placed in the company’s vetting process – and zero actual defaults to date is a big plus.
I requested a 5 figure sum in mid-July 23 and I'm pleased to say that the cash was available within 24h - that's a star performance.
Response to queries is quick.
Diversification is ok but not great. My original investment was split into 30/20/20/20% chunks. I would have preferred smaller loans. Each monthly dividend is placed in a new loan, improving diversification with time.
