Went online and booked for skip on Friday at Thursday 1pm. And guess what, is still not show up. Then what’s the point showing the available date when booking?

Been trying to call the line in different hours, always say busy and no one pick up. Even leave a message to ask them call back and no return

3 and a half weeks now since I returned cement mixer in better condition than I received it and I'm still waiting on my deposit back sent email no response

Not easy at all. I went through the entire process of hiring the tool online, which was tedious, and then I received a call saying that they only accept UK passports.

Wow, the other reviews aren't wrong - what an ironic name for a company! Booked a ladder online for following day - nothing was flagged as a problem, but when it got to nearly midday the next day with NO delivery, NO email and NO phonecall, alarm bells loudly started ringing. I had to call them asking where the ladder was. First person I spoke to had no idea about anything so I had to wait for another callback even later in the day. Unbelievably, they said that the system wasn't updated, there was no ladder available, and not only could they not give me the ladder that day, but they had no idea when it would be available!!! "Easytoolhire"! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Disappointed with no contact after booking a skip

Scaffold was being used on a church site. Driver didnt bother to read his notes and ring me when on route. When he arrived a site he was banging on the door until two of the church ladies answered. Very unprofessional. Also still waiting for my deposit money back and nobody answers the phone.

Hired a wacker plate for 7 days but used it 3 times. The staff can be a bit more friendly and get those chips off their shoulders.
I struggled to start the machine, even had skin come off my finger. When I did manage to start the machine it worked fine but I think I needed a heavier machine.

Just brilliant service from Easy Tools Northwest Trafford. Was looking to hire a concrete vibrating poker - hired on line - picked up and returned. Great customer service on the phone and by the guys in the depot.

Polite and prompt to deal with their call centre, but just hard work at the same time.

Firstly, the website took my order for the day I ordered it for. I then got a call saying they could fulfil the delivery that day, but they could the next day. 3 lads were stood around on site because they needed the piece of machinery to continue with work.

You cannot speak to a branch, you speak to a national call centre, so if you have a query they have to speak to the depot and get back to you.

You also have to faff uploading ID before your order is confirmed.

I ordered another product to the same building site through HSS Hire and the process was a breeze and you can speak directly to the depot if there are any queries.

Unfortunately, I would not use them again unless their order process changes and you can speak directly to a depot.

It was really easy to book in the hire. The communication regarding when the hire item would be delivered etc was non existent. The item that was provided was in good working order, however was a 6hp machine, rather than a 13hp that I hired which made the job much more difficult. Would not use again.

I was looking to hire a stump grinder for a weekend and booked online. I was quite confused by the series of confirmation emails I received so contacted via web chat and email to confirm that they did have the product available (otherwise I would cancel the order to get the deposit back and hire elsewhere). They told me that the depot manager had confirmed availability and that they would contact me to confirm delivery time. I waited all day heard nothing from the depot. I then requested a refund which I received about a week later. It was too late to hire the item elsewhere as it was a weekend and there was nowhere locally with availability.

Literally the worst service I have ever had. Easytool have no interest provide a respectable service. Didn’t provide me with what I have asked for and now are nowhere to be seen when looking for a refund. I have messaged them on multiple occasions about my complaint which they have ignored. The only time I have heard anything is when I post a review. In the review response they take no accountability and provide false information to make themselves look better. SHOCKING.

What a carry on from a dealer I hoped was solid.
Collected from Sunderland depot, Well thats what I thought. Went on there website, and address and map was not where they are at. 40 minutes later I found the address but a totally different company name. CHANGE THE WEBSITE ADDRESS AND MAP AS A MINIMUM PLEASE TO STOP WASTING CUSTOMERS TIME AND FUEL MONEY !!!!!
Hired a wacker plate for a week. 1/2 full of petrol when collected. Took it back a day early, guy said it is not full of petrol, so had to argue was not full when collected, as I had a witness to this. So ended up okay.
But had to email and ask for them to cancel the £75 deposit waiver taken from my card as many days later still on.
I would never recommend this company or use again. 0 out of 10 for all areas including pull start cable which would not retract and told dont worry about it.

Shambles. Tried to rent a ladder. Website said it was available in Perth. Made booking and paid for with debit card. Then received email saying they would be in touch when confirmed available ? Turns out nearest available ladder (from another tool hire company) was actually in Paisley. Cancelled booking. Refund not yet received. Looks like a website which takes the booking and then calls around to actually find the stuff. Cannot recommend.

Decided not to go ahead with the hire unsubscribe from receiving text messages at least 3 times but still receiving them getting sick now
