I cant even get into the site, its been that way for a week now

Eblujay market place sucks it's been closed for for over 10 days. With out warning horrible place

Years ago, I got completely frustrated with trying to run my small webstore off eBay, as their fees increased & service decreased dramatically (topic for a different review). I found Blujay.com & started my webstore there as it was totally $FR.EE & thus I could provide my products much cheaper on that platform than on eBay. Things went well, & when they asked for donations to get the next gen platform - eBluejay.com - designed & up, I contributed to the cause. Again, the site was $FR.EE so contributing seemed like a wise investment. eBluejay.com was released & things went well for a few years.

But this past year or so, the site has become unreliable & unresponsive. Customers complained to me that they couldn't get an account, & w/o an account, they couldn't purchase. Translation: lost customers & lost sales. I reported this to the system admin but nothing - not even an acknowledge of my messages. Then around Sept. if I recall correctly, the site was down for some period of time. I only found out about it when another retailer I know sent me an email to let me know the site was down. It came back online about a week later. And then last week, it went down & has been down for a full week now. I've had it. I went to the platform that hosts other web sites I run and got my webstore fully up-&-running in less than a week. So when/if eBluejay.com returns, I will remove my presence. It was a good idea while it lasted, but it is apparent to me that the site is all but abandoned, just limping along enough to collect ad revenues.

AVOID WEBSITE! THE WORST! 0 CUST SVC, BUY ELSEWHERE! RUN! AVOID THE DRAMA!

1st > told them when spam commenced & they did nothing to warn others

2nd > website constantly down & is down now

Same as others are saying they want £300 to verfiy my account and keep saying I have sales when nothing shows in my invoices. No support what so ever I have had my store for 10 years and never had any issues til this last week. Seems the site has been hacked by scammers.

I got a couple e-mails from Ebluejay Support asking me to verify my account with a bank card. The links they kept including in the messages said they were malicious sites, so I didn't continue. The messages are missing from my Ebluejay inbox; however, I still have them in my email inbox. Something isn't adding up. I've had my store for years!

just received notice that I need to re verify my account after paying $20.00 to have a seller account and listing items for one year - link that they sent to be copied into my browser bar triggered my malware to block it - very fishy and bad business - been selling online since 1998 on ebay - amazon - ioffer - bonanza - ebid and the dead bird so I am legit but the dead bird site is not!

Received an email that their payment system was changing. They can not coordinate with my bank anymore , they say it is the bank's issue. Want me to set up a whole new account they have just gone to rough a company I have never heard of a put a $300.00 balance into it in order to use their system. I had been with this service a long time and really enjoyed the non Ebay bureaucracy that they had.

As of 3/26/2025 Admin will not respond to contact through the message them area of the site or directly by email. Weeks and no response to my question about a possible security breach issue. The won't confirm or deny but just ignore me. I had high hopes for this site but since the people who operate the site are non-responsive I don't believe this is a safe place for me to sell. It appears they have abandoned it. I will continue to use my other platforms instead.

I joined Ebluejay to purchase an item on there. After making the purchase, the seller never shipped the item. I sent multiple messages, but got no response. I then contacted the site administrators, but have yet to get a response. Thankfully I only paid $10 for my item. Back to eBay and Mercari, I go.

A bit dated, but overall a rock steady performer in my arsenal of online marketplaces. My only real complaint is that sometimes buyers will complain about checkout being a bit cumbersome.

AWESOME SITE. Easy to use. The only thing I'd change is that they should make it where we can offer coupons codes.

Cannot contact ebluejay.com admins. When you click
"contact", a text box screen opens with subject, large textbox for your reason for messaging, and it will not send if you are not registered. Well, I tried registering, and am trying to retrieve my new password, and its not working. You cannot send the message unless you are registered. Well... tried ! Tom foolery here. NOT encouraged by this simplest of tasks being a problem.

1) A seller there stole artwork I had created and used it to promote their product on Ebluejay. It took them forever to remove it from the listing, but the artwork still appears on the thumbnail of their product.
2) a seller had a specific collectible I wanted, but when I asked them about it, they said "sorry, it was sold". And yet, it's still up there on Ebluejay for sale!!! I'm done with this place, and won't be going back; I deleted what info I could and will not use them now.

Excellent Marketplace Site.

Search actually returns results that YOU are asking for - unlike Amazon / eBay / Etsy who push irrelevant results to the top because they are charging advertising fees on those listings. To be honest it's a breath of fresh air and by far the most enjoyable browsing experience of any of the current marketplaces.

Very simple to purchase items without any 'promotional' hassle to try to get you to buy services you don't want, or con you into thinking you're getting free shipping when you aren't (yes Amazon I'm looking at you).

As a buyer your purchases aren't protected by a separate Marketplace guarantee if something goes wrong between you and the seller, (as you are with Amazon/ Etsy / eBay), but you ARE fully protected by your payment processor (PayPal or Stripe) if you aren't happy with your transaction.

I havn't experienced any issues at all with registering an account or contacting support - could be that I'm using a desk/lap top rather than a mobile.

It's a new site, so not as populated as the more established ones, but well worth checking out if you're internet browsing. An excellent all-rounder - It's now my first call when I'm looking for gifts as there's a lot of unique stuff on there...Highly Recommended.

This site is so easy to use! Putting up a listing is very straightforward. I do wish the titles of listings could be a tad bit longer, but it is adequate. I love that you can post up to 24 photos! Henderson has been very responsive to questions. You do have to check the email you signed up with to get the answer, rather than on the site, but that's not such a big deal. I wish the refund for shipping overcharge process was a bit more straightforward, but I'm sure that will be improved soon (hint, hint!). The signup fee is more than worth it, given that there are no other fees, other than Paypal. I have not yet bought anything on the site, but as a seller my experience has been a good one.

Prices are cheaper than ebay... The sellers don't pay commission to the site so it gives them more room to lower the price of products!

Step 1) see item you really want to buy
Step 2) make an account
Step 3) check for account activation email
Step 4) attempt to contact someone when your activation email never arrives, only to find that you have to have an activated account to contact the site
Step 5) register under another email address, maybe it’s just a one time fluke?
Step 6) repeat step 5 until you get frustrated and give up or run out of email accounts to try
Step 7) stare longingly at the listing for the thing you want knowing that it’s impossible to make an account on this site

I never received the "Welcome email", so can't activate my account, so also can't log in to access the account.

As such, I can't spend my money on the eBlueJay site.

Compound this with no Customer Service contact information for non-members! How are you supposed to get in touch with them if you can't activate your account...?

Wow....

The seller misrepresented the item. I returned for refund, the seller received the item and has now ghosted me. Where do I go?? The seller is BusyQueen. I can't even leave feedback!
