I booked a business class fare from Los Angeles to Cape Town, SA. Ebooktrip sent me a confirmation email and then sent an email saying there was something wrong with "authenicating" my credit card and asked me to call them. I called them and they passed me along to online services. That person said they would call me back in 10-15 minutes. I never heard back from them. I tried to call numerous times over the next 12 hours and was put on hold for approximately 20 minutes a time before giving up. I then sent an email to them. I contacted them this morning and spoke with someone who said they could not "autheniticate" my credit card and I should have received an email telling me this. I explained that I spoke with my platinum credit card and my credit card said ebooktrip.com or any other site tried to put anything through. Long story short, they continued to misrepresent that my card was not authenticated (whatever that means) and they repeatedly said they tried to call me and left me voicemails which I know they did not because it would have shown up on my call log. They now told me that the fare is no longer available and I will have to pay $1500 more than the original fare that I was quoted and booked. I told them that they should not publish fares that they are unable to get and if they do that, they should honor what they publish. They told me I was lucky to get this fare and that the current fare is $4000 more. I explained that I don't feel lucky that I am paying $1500 more than I was yesterday. Ebooktrip is a scam and now I have lost out on other better fares and I feel stuck with them. Now that I look at the reviews I see that this is a common scam with them. I don't understand why Flightfinder and others use them when they are dishonest.

Decent price for airline ticket. Minimal waiting times to speak to a customer representative and minimal wait time for him to process information. Received voice mail requesting I callback because price of tickets seen on website was sold out. Customer service rep explained this to me and immediately found ticket at higher price, but still very reasonable. Person sent me via email my etickets and a confirmation that my accidental booking of same flight twice was cancelled. He was very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. As an older, deaf person I was relieved that he did not mind repeating himself.

I didn't like that my ticket price increased because the flight filled up. That was the reason for me booking far in advance. Price breaks should be the reward for booking early and any increase should be given to the last minute passengers.

Marcus customer service rep was very patient though and helpful ,going out of his way to take the time to find me the best price on a important flight ,going to see my daughter give birth to my first grand baby ,,Thank you so much ,sincerely Ms tawnya dunaway

Marcus was very Patient, Courteous, and Professional to help me book my flight. He took me step by step in the process. Although, I Booked another flight EB59176, Earlier this morning (4:16am) and at around 2:30pm, or so, I called ebooking agent back and I was told that IT WAS SOLD OUT, BUT WAS OFFERED the same flights, dates and times for $90.00 more. That is very unprofessional practices. This flight (SPEXQP) Cost me $81.00 more. Barbara Jean Rich.

Don't waste your time with those people, they're scammer after they offer a cheap flight and you provide all your information they send you an email to call them back or your ticket will be cancelled and when you call they till you this ticket is not available and you have to book another ticket with higher prices, it's a shame

I found this app & seen good prices so I purchased a ticket at the advertised price they offer. Come to find out it's a big scam so I purchased the tickets told me to wait on email confirmation when I received email they said the price I bought it at was no longer valid so the price double. That's just a scam . Very disappointing dealing with them. The lady didn't even try to keep me or offer a more fair price. I'll never use them ever again. FaKers

They provide a low rate to get you to confirm with them but "bait and switch" to a higher rate. The first flight they did this twice as "the airline did not accept the fare rate". We cancelled then tried again ( they are showing up on other sites, so wrote it off as a 1st time "hiccup"). The second time trying to book at now a higher fare they DID IT AGAIN!. Apparently, they are a middle-mans, middle-man. If you are time sensitive in your flight plans in any manner DON'T USE THEM. Their posted rates in my experience was well outdated "bait" (obviously not connected on the customer side real-time to make decisions against) and gives them opportunity to "switch you up" to a higher fare. (Even in the first experience, they switched me up, said they couldn't honor price and tried doing it again!) Even as others identify them as a Legit company, I warn against using Ebooktrip as they employ tactics of the lowest form and dishonest business practice.

I had similar experience as a number of people reviewing this site. Tickets were not issued . When i called to find out why the person said i incorrectly put the wrong zip code and they couldnt finalize my booking. When they corrected my info the same price wasnt available . I definitely put the correct zip code and they definitely did this on purpose. Unethical!

Lucas and the eBooktrip team helped me out so much! They were quick to let me know how to complete my booking and made the process painless. I was able to get the flight I wanted and Lucas went above and beyond in assisting me. Would highly recommend!

You decide to buy a flight ticket and start researching on the internet. After researching on the internet for a while, you see that you have found the cheapest ticket to your destination and you buy it with excitement. And after some time you receive an email. A person whose English is not good tells you that she cannot receive your payment because there is a problem with your credit card and that you cannot buy that cheap ticket anymore, and tries to sell the tickets at a higher price! This is just their tactic! Please do not fall for this fraudulent company! dishonest people

In an error probably in my mis-typing my account number in the Ebooktrip app, I made a frantic call to the 800 # and talked to Marcus and explained that my trip had not been confirmed at my bank. He was very understanding of my issue and assured me he would wait to hear from me Monday to complete the transaction and flight arrangements. He even emailed me Monday to complete the booking. Altho’ I couldn’t get the booking I had placed on Saturday because it was no longer available in the price I had chosen, he was most diligent in working with me to complete a satisfactory booking with the same airlines on the same dates and times. I appreciate Marcus’ patience with me!!! He is very competent!!! Thank you Marcus!!!

I find it hard to believe these guys got 3.9 stars. I've tried to book 3 different tickets with them and every single time they call back and said the airline can't honor those fares, complete and utter scam they call back and say do you have alternative dates. They advertise some real low business class fares asked for your credit card and everything and then can't honor a single one. Run from these guys shady shady shady!🤮😡🤢 and as you can see from their response they even state that the fares they advertise on the website when you're doing a search are not guaranteed. You don't find those issues with Travelocity, Expedia, kayak only these crooks.
It's a total fish and bait scam. I'm surprised flight finder would even let them on their site.
