Since Ecover is being sold to SC Johnson, it's a nightmare!
Johnson does animal testing, is NOT cruelty free as the original Ecover used to be.
The workers rights and environmental reporting are also very bad.

I wanted to give 0 or minus rating if possible.
Ecover Dishwashing Liquid - Disappointing for Sensitive Skin
Despite being marketed as eco-friendly, Ecover's dishwashing liquid has caused severe skin irritation and cuts for my husband. We've used other brands without issues, but Ecover falls short. Customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. Would not recommend for sensitive skin.
Customer service just asked us to wash hand carefully and properly rinse it.

Op 7 januari 2026 grote bestelling gedaan (ongeveer 280 euro betaald). Bevestiging dat de bestelling binnen twee werkdagen wordt verzonden en dat DHL mij een track en trace stuurt. Dat was het eerste en tot dusver enige bericht. Ik ben erg benieuwd hoe ver mijn eco is...

I meant to buy the Ecover non bio washing capsules but mistakenly bought the bio ones. They leave a really unpleasant smell on the clothes.

I used the non bio laundry capsules thinking it would be neutral. Whatever have they done to make the washing smell of cheap and nasty after shave? Never again. It’s repulsive.

Geweldig!! Kreeg het als enige voor elkaar! Het heeft kurkuma uit melanine gehaald! Toppers zijn dit!!

I have used the Ecover Toilet Cleaner Pine & Mint as I wanted a gentle but effective cleaner for my toilet. In terms of the positives, the product itself is effective at removing stains, leaves the bowl clean, and has a nice fragrance that doesn't smell overly chemical. However, my biggest concern with the Ecover toilet cleaner is, given their brand is based on being eco-friendly and refillable, the refilling process was extremely difficult. The 1L toilet cleaner bottle is at an 45 degree angle to reach the toilet rim with a plastic cap that you remove to refill the product. However, it is difficult to remove this plastic nozzle and you must use gloves and wash the nozzle extremely well as it has been in direct contact with the toilet and filth. Next, given the 45 degree angle of the bottle, it is really difficult to position the bottle to refill it using the 5L container. The 5L bottle has a thin handle and is difficult to hold with one hand as you then cannot pour the refill liquid directly into the toilet cleaner container as it is at a 45 degree angle so you need to either spill a lot of the product or get someone to help hold both. Further, a lot of product from the refill was lost in the refilling process. I suggest Ecover look into the bottle design and/or provide a funnel to help as I found the process really difficult and I use a lot of refillable / zero waste products.

I've used Ecover concentrated detergent Bio Laundry, Honeysuckle & Jasmine for two years but it has destroyed my washing machine. Never before had black stains on rubber seals, or grey gunk oozing out of every seal. Disgusting. Had I known this is what this so-called 'eco' product would do, I'd never have bought it. Back to Persil I shall go. I don't have time to deal with this additional domestic issue right now. Ecover need to fix this problem.

I have persevered with ecover laundry liquid but I just can't use it anymore. The smell from the clothes is like disinfectant. I smell like the kennels I used to work in. They need to do something about the awful smelling detergent. I use their other products and have no problem.

Testwochenbetrug? Bei DM „unter gratis Testen erworben“, danach auf der Webseite mehrmals zu verschiedenen Zeiten versucht die Rückerstattung zu beantragen. Hat nie funktioniert- mehrmalige Meldung „heutige Kontingent ausgeschöpft. Für mich grenzt diese Aktion an Betrug, da man den Kunden absichtlich zum Kauf animiert und die Versprechen nicht halten kann.

Nie wieder diese Marke !!!

Ich muss mich leider bzgl. der Gratis-Testwochen meinen Vorrednern anschließen.
Das tägliche Kontingent von 1.000 Teilnehmern war entweder Fake oder innerhalb weniger Sekunden ausgeschöpft.
Auf Nachfrage beim Service kam nur ein Mega-Bla-Bla, im Prinzip sinnloses Zeugs mit dem man nichts anfangen konnte.
Einreichung des Kassenbons über die Mailadresse wurde nicht mehr berücksichtigt. Grenzt ja schon fast an Betrug.
Ecover kann zukünftig so gut od. günstig sein, wie sie wollen - dort kaufe ich nichts mehr. Behaltet eure erfolgreichen Testwochen gut in Erinnerung...
Kann leider keine Negativpunkte vergeben, verdient hätten sie es definitiv.

Die Geld zurück Aktion für das Waschmittel ist ein Fake. Ich versuche seit 1. Juli daran teilzunehmen. Selbst wenn auf der Seite steht, dass noch 999, oder wie heute 425, Anmeldungen möglich sind, passiert nichts. Das Formular öffnet nicht und nach teils nur Sekunden, so wie auch heute wieder, heißt es, dass das Kontingent erschöpft sei. Das kann offensichtlich nicht sein! So schnell können alle Benutzer gar nicht ihre Daten eingegeben und den Kassenzettel hochgeladen haben, denn es war immer noch 9:00 Uhr!!! Und erst ab 9 Uhr kann man das Formular aufrufen, steht so zumindest auf der Seite und habe es seit mehreren Wochen fast täglich versucht. Einmal stand sogar bereits zum Start es sind 999 Anmeldungen möglich. Da war wohl jemand schon vor 9 Uhr angemeldet??? Das scheint mir eher eine Betrugsmasche zu sein...

Die Geld zurück Aktion von DM für das Waschmittel ist eine Fake Aktion versuche seit einer Woche daran teilzunehmen. Ich bin scheinbar auch nicht die einzige, die das Problem hat.

Erst heißt es ab 9 Uhr, dann guckt man um Punkt 9 Uhr und 2 Min später ist alles vorbei und es hat nichts funktioniert.

Die Testaktion von Ecovert scheint nicht zu funktionieren. Seit 5 Tagen versuche ich an der Aktion teilzunehmen. Leider ist das Kontingent immer erschöpft.
Schade. Zu dem Preis hätte ich das Waschmittel unter normalen Bedingungen nicht erworben. Das ist mir persönlich etwas zu preisintensiv. Unschön, dass meine erste Begegnung mit der Marke so enttäuschend ist. Ich bleibe wohl einfach der Konkurrenz treu.

Die Cahback Aktion bei Dm ist eine Masche. Sowas musste an die Verbrauchszentrale gemeldet werden.

Bij Ekoplaza vulde ik mijn Ecover allesreiniger fles telkens opnieuw om zo plastic afval te verminderen. Navulling kostte €2,90. ( Nieuwe fles rond de €3)
Vandaag kom ik er achter dat navullen bij Ekoplaza niet meer kan en dat een fles Ecovert nu €4,49 kost!!!!
Kennelijk een nieuwe vorm van graaiflatie. Zo worden groene pogingen wel heel zuur. Behoorlijk teleurstellend.

Finde es unverschämt Versuch seid 3 Tagen Geld zurück Garantie.....das Formular wird nicht bereitgestellt.
Da steht warten sie es kann dauern bis das Formular bereitgestellt wird.
Das Formular geht immer wieder weg wenn es Ma bereitgestellt wird

Auch mir ging es die Tage mit der „Gratisaktion“ so wie hier beschrieben. Punkt 9 Uhr einloggen, warten dass sich das Formular lädt (was dauern kann weil viele Anfragen sind) und schwupp heißt es plötzlich alle Einlösungen sind genutzt.
Und wer sich an den Kontakt wendet erhält immer die gleiche Computerantwort. Macht das Erlebnis mit dieser Firma auch nicht besser.
Ich hatte früher gerne das Waschmittel benutzt und wollte nun wieder dazu umstellen, weil ich Lavendel liebe und Frosch diese Duftnote nicht hat. Daher hätte ich mich über diese Aktion gefreut, doch nun verzichte ich darauf. Schade.

Das mit dem Cashback ist ein Witz.
Um 9 Uhr bin ich auf der Seite und da steht, dass das aktuelle Einlöselimit erreicht ist und morgen um 9 Uhr weitergeht.
Ich werde das Produkt später kaufen, weil mir die Umwelt sehr wichtig ist.
Aber ich kaufe eine andere Marke, die solche Lügen nicht erzählt.
