The flight arrangements weren’t ideal. Having an 8-hour layover on the return trip was too long. The schedule was also very packed, especially on the first day when my child hadn’t even slept yet. There was very little free time.

Everything about the trip was great. Locations and the overall experience
The trip was thorough and well-planned. We were not rushed. Our guide Jamil was the perfect fit for our group. He was informative during bus rides, kept us organized and on-time for specific entries (ie. Louvres), and there was a perfect blend of education and experience. Students explored, asked questions, learned, and really immersed themselves into the French culture. They were engaged, safe, and adapted to the French culture quickly. Our guide knew the "ins and outs" of areas, informed us where to go, cautioned us when necessary (ie. pickpockets), and really connected with the students (ie. singing on the bus together). The students and staff really did have a trip of a lifetime. We navigated our 8-day adventure with ease, and it was packed with learning and exploration. A tour guide can make or break a trip, and Jamil exceeded our expectations. Thank you EF for providing us with this wonderful and purposeful experience and for choosing Jamil to be our guide. It was perfect!
We saw the best of France and Italy. We visited the big cities of Milan and Paris and the small towns like Cassis and Cinque Terre. The meals were good, and so were the hotels. Best of all, our tour guide was the best. Daria needs a raise!
The experience was very memorable and provided students with a lot of guided, as well as free time experience in the places we visited. Our favourites stops were in Provence and Cinque Terre. The hilly country side made you feel as if you were in a movie, while the sheer beauty of the ocean is surreal. The overall experience was great. We had an amazing tour director and some pretty great hotels. Other than a few meals that were underwhelming, the trip was a roaring success.
Amazing experience and would highly recommend!!
Excellent support and scheduling. The kids loved every minute.
Was great to experience both the hustle and bustle of Paris, as well as the quieter Southern region of France. The Riviera region brings so much beauty with it.
We especially loved Provence and the Riviera, though you can't skip iconic Paris. We just wished we'd had a little discussion on how long we spent in each place - some places were too long (Arles) some places were too short (Monaco, Pont du Gard, Tarascon).
A full and exciting itinerary that included wonderful tourist sites in France and Monaco, complemented by a fantastic tour guide, an efficient and conscientious tour company and travelers and chaperones from different parts of Ontario and the United States all eager for a European adventure!
Hotels were below average. First hotel did not provide towels, toilet paper and blankets. There was no concierge after 7pm. Hotels were 2 hours from city centre. Activities were not planned out from hotel. Too many hours on the bus. Dinners were below average. Portions not enough for teenagers. Breakfasts were good.
Great experience for the kids, but I would suggest that the tour include a visit to, and up the Eiffel Tower, rather than the hi-rise building with the viewing deck. Seems silly not to fully experience the city's best known landmark. Other than that, great trip.
My daughter said the experience was wonderful!
A fantastic journey that allowed us to see both the south and north of France; the contrasts are what makes France great.
The entire family enjoyed the very economical experience, its exceeded our expectations.
