Highly recommend Egg & Soldiers for D of E. The course was easy to enrol in, reasonably priced and well run. The recipes built in manageable stages keeping up the challenge without ever becoming inaccessible. We appreciated the quick response to questions and encouraging feedback after each submission. We have eaten very well over the duration of the programme!

It was 10/10 experience!! As a girl who just started DofE bronze it was so helpful on my skill part of the course!

The recipes were amazing, and the course was super easy for me who was a beginner at cooking!! they offered an advanced course aswell and allowed you to look at a list of recipes so it could help you decide . It was a great choice for DofE and i highly recommended it to anyone looking to fill out their skills DofE

I have used Egg & Soldiers for both my kids skills sections for bronze DofE and can highly recommend them. We dealt with Jo both times who was very supportive with great feedback. The recipes are tasty and detailed enough for solo teen cooking. The app was super easy for them to use for feedback and evidence of their cooking. Great value for money and a positive experience for both my kids. Thanks Jo!

I think this is a great programme. I was a little cynical at the start but have been really impressed with the basic skills my son has learned, the helpful feedback and the repertoire of easy recipes that will stand him in good stead for life.

Just amazing

I did this for my DoFE and so did my brother! we both really enjoyed doing this as we got to learn new skills. the feedback that I got after each recipe was instantaneous and gave good advice for the next recipe as well as notes on the current recipe. i had a really good experience with egg and soldiers and I really recommend for the reasons above and also being that the site was easy to navigate and organised - i could complete the survey after each recipe very quickly and easily

Excellent cooking course for my son's Silver Duke of Edinburgh's award. He really enjoying following the recipes, which were really varied, easy to follow and practical. Susannah was really encouraging in her weekly emails, and efficient when filling in the assessors report. Highly recommended.

It was the best thing I have ever done it has helped improve my cooking skills so much.
