Elec Training Turned My Career Around
After struggling to find an electrician’s role following an incomplete 3-year apprenticeship with Engie, I decided to join Elec Training to pursue my NVQ. From the start, the team at Elec Training thoroughly explained the steps needed to achieve the JIB Gold Card.
Thanks to the incredible support from Joshua, the Careers Manager, I was placed in a role within just two weeks of enrolling. Now, I have a clear path to qualification and the opportunity to work worldwide as a certified electrician.

After working in the construction and telecommunications industries for several years, I decided it was time to take up a trade, and becoming an electrician was the perfect fit for my existing skills. I chose Elec Training because an apprenticeship would have required a significant salary cut and a lengthy 4-year process, which wasn’t necessary given my experience.
Thanks to Elec Training, I'm well on my way to becoming qualified. I’ve already gained the necessary qualifications to start working on-site as an electrician and will be returning to complete my Level 3 and NVQ. A special thanks to Malcolm for the excellent training, and to Josh for securing me a job before I even finished the course!

After working as a BT engineer for 10 years, I realized I could advance my career by pursuing an electrical qualification. I had an excellent experience with the Elec-Training for levels 2 and 3 at this institute. The staff is very friendly, and the mentors are highly professional, providing great support for becoming an electrician. I highly recommend this institute.

I had practically zero experience in electrical installation, but my first visit to the Thomas street centre and an encounter with the course advisor made me realize I could achieve my dream of becoming a professional Electrician. The center's are absolutely amazing. I have completed my level 2 and 18th edition in the Faraday Campus and almost completing my level 3 at the Thomas Street Campus. The height of this experience for me is the dedication of the team to put students into work right after studies. I would recommend ElecTraining to anyone.
