Very good quality for the price. I purchased a Kapstadt suitcase, and it is honestly impressive how sturdy and well made the suitcase seems. It survived without a scratch after a round trip flight. Nothing bad to say about it so far

I discovered the EMINENT LUGGAGE brand 15 years ago by chance, and since then I have always been loyal to this brand and bought two more suitcases. The quality is outstanding, and despite the first suitcase just retiring because the plastic cover handles cracked, there are still strong stainless steel wires holding it. I’ve decided to treat myself to a new suitcase, which I have to say is even better than the previous two. The durability of the materials used looks improved, and the wheels make me feel that the suitcase goes on its own—super smooth. I was extremely impressed by how well the wheels were working; by far, it is the best luggage you can buy, even beating more expensive brands. Also, the customer service is amazing; they really care about their customers, and if something happens, they sort it out without any problem. Thank you.

Lufthansa broke one of the wheels on my suitcase. Eminent pointed me to a repair website where I can buy all replacement parts I would need. Delivered in two days and easy to install, best service possible!

Endlich durfte ich mal das erleben, was ich unter Service verstehe. Auf meine Kontaktaufnahme hin erhielt ich zeitnah eine nette Mail in Deutsch mit dem Link zum Shop und genau zu dem Ersatzteil, welches ich brauchte. Das würde dann auch rasch geliefert und der Einbau ging einfach, nachdem ich mich online darüber belesen hatte.

Katastrophaler Kundenservice, fragwürdige Stabilität und Garantieleistung.
Der Griff meines Koffers ist bei sehr guter Behandlung dessen generell abgebrochen, innerhalb der Garantiezeit. Der Kundenservice meinte, das fällt grundsätzlich nicht mehr in die Garantie, da dies normaler Verschleiß sei. Dann sollte doch Mal über die gegebene Dauer der Garantie beratschlagt werden, wenn das Material diese Zeit nicht erfüllt oder aber auch über die Art und Weise des Kundenservices, wenn man sich bei Produktkomplikationen innerhalb der Frist Worte wie "Kulanz" anhören kann oder lediglich mit Standardantworten um sich geschlagen wird.
Zudem habe ich nun 7 Monate auf mein Ersatzteil gewartet, welches ich dann selbst installieren musste. Musste zwischendurch auch mit anwaltlichen Schritten drohen.
Werde diese Marke nie wieder kaufen.

Ich hatte einen Schaden an meinem Koffer, der gleich nach der ersten Benutzung entstand und nicht durch mich verursacht wurde, sondern ein Produktfehler war. Zuerst sah es für mich so aus, als ob Eminent nicht erreichbar wäre und ich keinen Garantieanspruch geltend machen könnte, was mich sehr frustriert hat. Dann haben sie sich aber doch noch bei mir gemeldet und heute ist der neue Koffer angekommen. In meinem Fall hat es sich wohl um eine Ausnahme gehandelt. Tatsächlich kam mir der Koffer auch abgesehen von dem Schade sehr stabil vor. Gerade deshalb war ich so enttäuscht, als gleich nach der ersten Benutzung ein Schaden entstand. Aber Produktionsfehler können immer passieren. Für mich ist nur relevant, dass Eminent auf meine Beschwerde zum Schluss ganz toll reagiert haben. Auch wenn es einen Moment gedauert hat. Das hat mich sehr versöhnt. Es ist toll, wenn man auf Qualität vertrauen kann, und falls etwas doch nicht stimmt, eine echte Person erreicht, die sich um das Anliegen kümmert. Das finde ich ganz toll und werde meinen nächsten Koffer wieder bei Eminent kaufen und kann diese Firma nur allen empfehlen!

Bought this luggage because of the good reviews, that its very strong and durable after drop tests.
After the 2nd trip a part fell off the suitcase. When I enquired they simply said claim from the airline. Suitcase also scratches easily….So I can’t recommend this at all.

Insgesamt sehr positive Erfahrung - bereits mein Dritter Eminent Koffer. Mein großen habe ich jetzt seit 2.5 Jahren und er sieht aus wie neu. Der Koffer meiner Frau ist in der selben Zeit schon zwei Mal defekt gewesen.

Würde ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

I've seen a bunch of pretty negative and biased reviews here, and I just wanted to share my own experience to give another perspective.
For me, using Eminent luggage has been mostly positive. I've got several of their suitcases with different finishes. Yeah, the ones with shiny surfaces have picked up some scratches after a few trips, but honestly, that happens with most luggage. My suitcases with the embossed/matte surfaces have actually held up really well. My oldest Eminent suitcase, the Kapstadt model, has been tagging along with me for more than 8 years now.
Quick tip for anyone buying luggage with aluminum or shiny finishes (doesn't matter which brand): using a luggage cover for your checked bags can really save you some headaches. And if you do end up with damaged luggage after a flight, make sure to talk to the airline right away at the airport—waiting too long might mess up your chances of making a claim.
It's kind of sad to see how some reviewers jump from having one bad experience to making huge generalizations about entire brand or even ethnic or national groups. That's not just unprofessional—it's pretty unfair. Let's be real, most of the stuff we all buy involves global manufacturing, with parts or assembly happening in multiple countries. Judging products just based on where they're made instead of how they actually perform doesn't really help anybody.
Online reviews tend to focus on the negative because happy customers usually just go about their lives (same for me initially). It would be nice if review platforms did a better job filtering out the biased stuff so shoppers could find more balanced info when making decisions.

Eminent ? NEVER AGAIN, not for free

I seldom write 1/5 reviews but as the answers to my legitimate claim were made in bad faith they deserve it. I bought a luggage from their online store and was surprised that it worn-out after a single use. The prices are pretty high but in the end it's very poor quality luggage. I sent photos to their support but they replied me that it was normal, then that it was the airline fault, then that I should have protected the luggage for the flight... Even if they are sold by a German website, these are Asian products to avoid at all cost.

Suggest don't buy on Internet or you have have our problem ie cannot use
