I cannot believe my recent experience with Empress Bathrooms
I have an “ Unbranded “ mixer shower valve , last week it stopped working .
I researched the mixer but because it was unbranded I couldn’t find it anywhere online .
I went to Empress Bathrooms and luckily they had the spares for this particular mixer.
The owner told me I wouldn’t find it anywhere online, he charge me £100 for the small box of parts .
When I returned home I googled the name and part number and lo and behold Amazon had the same parts for 37.50 , so the shop had charged me an extra £60 !!
I returned the parts to the shop today but the owner refused to refund me my money , saying I should read the small print at the bottom of the invoice which said that spare parts are non refundable …..which I could have swallowed had he charged me Amazon / or a little more , prices .
I think it’s disgraceful for him to have charged me this amount when he knew I was I need .
I would never ever recommend anyone to have dealings with this business .

I spoke to Gary at Empress Bathrooms concerning a requirement for a new bath shower handset. My current one is non standard. Gary asked to send pics which I did. He then came up with a resolution which worked! Outstanding service and very highly recommended!

Empress Bathrooms is a one-stop shop that makes choosing a new bathroom/shower-room easy. Shelly's experience, sense of design, and knowledge of all brands & technicalities were key to making my visits productive. Sample installations are there to try out and be inspired by. Different top of range and standard taps, fixtures and fittings are all at Empress too. Delighted with my brushed brass Crosswater and HiB shower-room. Thanks, Empress. Highly recommend.

Very poor customer service. I ordered and paid for an item, stated to be in stock, online. After 3 days with no information being provided about despatch or delivery sent 2 emails asking for information - both ignored! On ringing I was told my order had been cancelled and money refunded as the item was out of stock - their website, however, shows still in stock but at a substantial price increase. A business with integrity would honour the orders accepted, and at least tell the customer what was happening without waiting to be contacted.
Have previously re-equipped 3 bathrooms from Empress but will never deal with them again.
