In an industry teeming with scams and con artists, I am happy to report that Entrada Publishing is not one of them. They provide a valuable service to writers and self-publishers.
I paid for three beta readers. Overall, I thought the beta reader reports were helpful. Two readers did an excellent job pointing out confusing parts and also provided some proofreading help.
However, one reader kept saying they couldn't comment because they are not a sci-fi reader. When asked who their favorite character was, they wrote Mike. Mike is the author. The main character is Frank. This reader was very confused.
I used these reports to make edits and re-writes that filled in some blanks for readers and made my story better.
If I use your service again, please choose readers who like to read the genre presented and who are not senile.

As an author of twelve books, I know the value of good editing. I discovered Entrada in 2020 and have made them an invaluable part of my marketing and editing team. I first connected with the team during COVID, which was a writer’s paradise (everyone stayed home reading books). Entrada put together an aggressive marketing plan that helped me capitalize on that market and grow my readership, which led to more reviews and more sales —and it still resonates to this day—and they did it on my budget, not a “one size fits all”—take it or leave it.
As a writer, never underestimate the value of beta readers. They are your test readers before the book hits the market. There’s nothing worse than getting a 1-star on Amazon telling the world that "this book didn’t make sense.” Then it’s too late. Entrada offers a unique package of having three beta readers evaluate the manuscript with a comprehensive list of set questions about: The Opening, Characters, Plot, Pace, Setting, Dialogue, Technique, all rated from 1-5 with plenty of commentary from the readers about what worked and what didn’t. I’ve spent thousands on Upwork and Fiverr, never quite knowing the quality of the feedback I’d get.
