Good formation, but things you ajust
Good formation and knowledge but the AI voice is really slow if you don’t want to read the whole thing, and there’s a question in the cold part where there’s two time the same responses, so I check them both and got a wrong answer.
DISHONEST AND DECEITFUL
TLDR:
If you think you may need to reference anything from a course in the future DO NOT BUY THE COURSE FROM ESAFETYFIRST.
The courses are mediocre, with spelling and grammatical errors. All material is spoken word text and CANNOT be referenced after course completion. Further, from a the other reviews I’ve read, customer support is almost always unhelpful and rude. Ie, if you have a question or want to double check ANY course info after you get the completion email, you're sh!t out of luck.
1 YEAR AND 4 MONTHS AGO, on the date of October 3, 2024, I bought a set of courses from esafetyfirst.com. I confirmed that I would have access to course material if I need to reference it again after the course was completed via phone call with customer service after the order. Upon trying to reference the same material I paid to learn about, I discovered I have been disallowed to do so.
I called customer support, and after my initial statement to them I was not able to get out a thought without being interrupted or talked over. Not only were they rude and disrespectful, they were also untruthful. The customer service agent never offered me a solution. He told me is that there is "nothing he can do”(lie). I then asked to speak to the supervisor, and the customer service agent told me HE is the supervisor(another lie), and that he "doesn't have time to talk about this with me”(inherent lie).
I posted this review after the incident and my review was immediately taken down for containing “harmful or illegal content”. It would seem someone didn’t like my review and made a false report about it in the hopes it would be taken down permanently(extra curricular lie)… However, after being investigated by TrustPilot the review was reinstated. lol
I'm pretty sure there is only one customer service agent that works there -if you can even call them a c.s. agent- , but they even lied in their reply to my review.
"As with many online programs, access to the learning management system is available for a set period(lie), which in this case expired after you completed the course three years ago(lie).
Our support team did attempt to explain this and provide a workaround (lie) to help you access the materials you need.(Another blatant untruth to save face. Zero "work around was discussed) Unfortunately, we were unable to finalize that detail because the call was ended for using profanity." (lie - after being told he doesn't have time to talk about this with me", I said a profanity and hung up the phone)
Telling potential customers they will have access to program materials for studying and reference before purchase only to lock them out after purchase is dishonest to say the least, but it potentially invites class-action legal ramifications especially if there are multiple plaintiffs.
Don’t worry pal, you won’t her from me again. I will never use esfafetyfirst again until I get an apology. What I may do… is some search engine optimization work to spread awareness of your terrible customer service, and hopefully dissuade potential customers from doing business with you in the future.

Large variety of fall arrest and recovery equipment was avaliable to demonstrate and practice with.
The class had students in their early 20s up to 60 + years of age.
Highly recommend for anyone who needs their working at heights certificate.
Porly phrased quiz questions / inaccurrate answers
Most common decking system of engineered plywood/aluminum decks were discussed but not featured in the training. Directly from scaffold depot the manufacture indicated their frame ladders are suitable for climbing when needed provided standard 3 point contact. questions on tests are ambiguous. ie. when dissembling silica contaminated scaffold one multiple choice answer is eye protection which would be highly recommended in addition to hard hats, gloves and respirators. unfortunately the quiz indicated safety eye wear is not required. Another example form your quiz indicates one of the multi answers for when workers should wear fall arrest on scaffold. one of the given options is "when they feel like it". This could be interpreted to mean when the worker feels tasks or weather add a level of risk that added safety should be implemented. I always advise staff that they should wear fall arrest as a added precaution anytime they feel it necessary for personal safety. One of your questions asking about safely moving scaffolding indicated that all breaks should be engaged. This would not allow for the scaffold to be moved as the question is asking.
