My favorite building in NYC.

Been meaning to write this for a long time but yall know how life is.

Every time I am in the big Apple, I visit the empire state building. Love the views, the history and everything about the place.

Lovely staff and want to do a massive shout out to Renita Edmund for outstanding customer service. I had visited the Empire State Building the day prior and wanted to revisit the gift shop the next day. I was told this was not possible by Renita on the door. Not only did she make it possible she personally escorted me to the gift shop like a VIP. You could tell what a tight family the staff are as they were all pleased to see her. Renita is a gem and the passion for her job and making people happy was outstanding. I wish her all the best, you made this regular tourist feel seen and my grandchildren got the gifts they loved.

Our first time in New York and obviously one of the things to do is visit the Empire State Building. Booked through a third party company for two seniors. On entrance scanned the barcode and I got through but my husband did not. Tried to speak to the gentleman at the gate but all he said was we should have another reference number. We only had one barcode from the company! Meantime he was too busy shouting at a bunch of young people that came in not to sit down. Eventually asked for someone to come and help us while I was frantically trying to find the email on my phone. Well seemingly I was not quite quick enough and that person went away while my husband was trying to explain what I was trying to do and I got easily confused due to a medical condition. The guy at the door told us I should have been quicker and that was the reason the staff member went away and still proceeded to ignore us. The female staff member eventually came back and admitted we should have gone through the turnstile at the same time (which no one had told us) and simply opened a gate to let us through! We had booked to go to the 102nd floor so it was not a cheap experience! It really spoiled our first visit to New York and otherwise what should (and for the most) was a great experience

We had an amazing night visiting the Empire State Building. All the staff are so helpful and friendly, like really really friendly it was lovely. There was a young boy called Joshua who just took the stress of me trying to find my order number at the ticket gate, right out of my hands, just what a tired jet lag mum needed haha thank you so much, very pleasant boy. View from the top was outstanding

We booked for the whole family.
In the morning we weighed in at the entrance and a person in charge showed us a picture of the view from top of the rock: uniform grey.
The clouds were basic and the view non-existent.
He tells us that we are entitled to a refund at the ticket office or from the site.
We opt for the site given the long queue for refunds.
Back home we do the online procedure, but were never reimbursed, despite several reminders made.
Patience. We lost an amount that was important to us.
However, the total lack of seriousness must be reported. I wish that what happened to us did not happen to others.

I last came here 20 years ago and although I cannot recall how much it was then, I didn’t have a lot of money and so assume it wasn’t too much. Came today with my wife and me and two children and it was almost £300!!! To ride an elevator and stand on a viewing platform. There are whole families out there who have less than £300 a month to live on after rent etc, are the owners and organisers of these places completely detached from reality?? Completely unbelievable and shocking how much everywhere is ripping the hell out of everything these days, seems to be the case that they just keep putting prices up and up and up. An absolute con.

Best views in NYC . Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

I think the view from top is the best view on city I have ever seen. It is even better than in Dubai and also, there is something like a small "tour" when you go up, e.g. you can see some movie retrospection of how it looked when it was under construction etc. It is famous building, great place to visit, great view, definitely worth to go there!

Vertigo Vertigo Vertigo Vertigo deary dear! An amazing experience up an amazing building. Views of New York are just crazy! A cute little gift shop too. Highly recommended as part of a New York visit!
