Same experience as many others. Ordered in early March. Issue with fabric. Cancelled order & requested refund. Still no sign of $$$ or any response from Customer Service.
Any ideas on how to escalate a complaint from Australia??

I used to love this site. I ordered from them for years and was happy with the quality and the cost. Alas, as many others have written, now it would be zero stars if it was an option. I ordered in early February 2024 and now, June 2024, still waiting. No idea why they are still able to accept new orders... Several emails to Customer service have gone unanswered. Avoid!!!

I ordered a dress in January for a May event. I was notified several times that the order was on backorder. As the event approached in May and I still hadn't received the item I canceled the dress and requested a refund. I was assured I would receive a refund within two weeks. When the time passed and no refund received I attempted to contact the company. I left three voicemails and sent 3 emails. I was unable to get through directly to the company. I never received a refund. Finally I contacted PayPal to intercede. While the products are nice the customer service needs a little bit of work.

I have been an eShakti customer for about 5 years now. When I first ordered from them, delivery was as promised and the garment quality was as expected. Not sure what has happened in the last year, but read the online reviews. I placed an order at the beginning of April and delivery was promised in 3 to 4 weeks. Now 2 months with nothing and they aren't responding to calls or emails. Thank goodness I paid via PayPay so I can claim back my money through them. Not sure what has happened, but this latest experience has been horrible and I can no longer recommend dealing with them.

Placed an order early February, approx 40 days later contacted them to see where order was. They claimed fabric issues and were working to resolve issues (this occured on a prior order as well). Stayed in contact communication (one way) with them requesting updates and finally in April for a cancelation and refund. As of today June 5th - they still have not refunded nor send my order. I would reach out at least every 2 weeks and they often would not respond at all to my communications.
This site used to be good, now it feels like a scam, using the same excuse (3 or 4 orders now) of fabric issues and then long delays, no responses and no products delivered

J'ai payé à la commande et n'ai pas été livré. 3 mois après pas de réponse à mes mails. De demande d'information d'abord, j'ai eu une réponse enfin me disant qu'ils avaient eu un problème de qualité tissu et avaient du recommencer à zéro, sauf que 1 mois et demi après toujours rien. J'ai demandé un remboursement, toujours pas de réponse.

My timeline: Feb. 25 ordered white blouse, no changes to original design. Received April 10, returned next day, did not fit, although I ordered according to chart. Returned blouse received in Las Vegas site April 17. After several emails with proof of return and request for a refund, no refund. Extremely poor customer service. Will never order from them again.

I bought dresses from eShakti for years starting in 2016 or so and always had great experiences. That changed in 2024. I ordered two dresses with customizations and received a confirmation that they would be delivered within about 4 weeks. The delivery date came and went; the site status was never updated past "production"; and calls to the customer service line went unanswered. I emailed multiple times and finally got a few responses stating that one of the dresses was in production and would be shipped "by this weekend", while the fabric for the other one was on order. Of course, no shipping notification ever came, and neither did the dress.

After two months of these shenanigans I opened a dispute with PayPal, which is how I had paid. eShakti never responded to the dispute and eventually I got a refund through PayPal. I am so disappointed that this company, which I used to recommend to everyone who complimented my dresses, has apparently failed to the extent that it is cheating customers of their money. Shame on eShakti for such poor business practices.

I had an outstanding item that was preventing my order from being returnable. The Eshakti online system does not allow you to return anything until you receive all the items. I was waiting for that item, but I will be moving soon and it won't in time. So I requested that it be canceled. Eshakti canceled that last item right away, which triggered the system to close my order and list the final delivery date as the date that I received the previous items. This date was over a month ago, and now Eshakti is not letting me return my items for a refund.
In essence, I never had the opportunity to return my order because of the outstanding item, and now they claim the 30 day window has passed.
I have been calling their "customer service number" in the US every day for a few weeks, leaving messages, and I have never spoken to a person or received a call back. I think Eshakti has become a scam.

I ordered a dress for a wedding and the order was never made. After several calls and emails I got a response stating the order world be cancelled and a refund issued in 10 business days. The refund did not occur and still trying to get Eshakti to respond. Next step is legal action as apparently this is what they do.

Dont order!! Its been 3 months . It seems i have lost my money! Its a con

I have ordered before and had a wonderful experience so much so, I left a wonderful review. This time not so much. I ordered 2 dresses for an event June 1. I called customer service several times and tried to contact through the website as the order has been produced but not shipped yet and I’m getting nervous since I have had no reply. . I would gladly pay to expedite shipping.. Upon reading most recent reviews, I am pretty convinced the company is out of business but still in the business of taking money.

If there was an option, i would have given negative ratings. after full payment for my dress, I neither got the dress nor got the refund. Despite my so many emails and messages on WA, never got any revert

Even though they appear to be perfect for social events, weddings… Do NOT ORDER from eShakti. I ordered a custom dress w measurements, when I sent an email to check status, they said the fabric had not arrived. I contacted THEM to find out there was a problem. They did not respond to 5 additional emails on the wedding deadline, did they have an alternate fabric etc etc. Meanwhile the same dress/same fabric was for sale on their website for 3 more weeks. Misrepresentation or illegal? When I finally cancelled the order, I got a form letter from a “Customer Champion” saying “thanks for your patience… sorry…we hope you’ll order again from eShakti”. No communication, no dress, no satisfaction and plenty of worry about the upcoming wedding!!! NO THANKS! I have no idea if their dresses are nice. If you think they are worth trying give them months not weeks to deliver. A horrible experience.

I received a lovely garment from Eshakti 2 years ago. I made another order 7 weeks ago and have not received my items nor have any messages been answered. I am very disappointed and at this point I am not expecting my order to materialize. I would love to be surprised!

I placed an order in early March for a dress that I needed for a wedding in June. By late April I still hadn't received the dress or heard anything from the company. So I called several times and emailed several times and finally got an email saying they were having difficulty getting the fabric. I said I was going to have to cancel the order because I needed to find something to wear to this wedding in early June. They said they would refund me. It's now late May and I'm worried I'm going to be out over $200. I have emailed several times about this with no reply. I'm going to start calling and leaving messages today but not holding my breath for any help. I am so disappointed because I was really excited about this as a custom option.

I placed an order in March and I'm still waiting for my dresses. I contacted them 3 times by email and twice by leaving a voicemail. No one has tried to respond to me. They took my $118.00 and ghosted me. I'm never ever ever going to order from them again, and I am telling ALL of my friends my experience and to not waste their money.

I needed a dress for a special occasion in May so I ordered 2 dresses back in MARCH! No dress. I called multiple times only to get voice-message no one called me back. I missed my deadline for my dress so I emailed customer service and they finally got back to me stating materials on back order. Several weeks went by so I got tired of waiting. I asked for a gift card because I've been reading complaints about how long it takes to get a refund. Anyway, I thought I would purchase an overstock dress, since these dresses are already made. Guess What! It's been two weeks and it hasn't been mailed. I'm so tired of Eshakti shenanigans. I've purchased so many dresses from Eshakti. I dont know what has happened to y'all. You used to be so good with quality, customer service. There has been a tumble from grace. That sucks because I really liked you.

This is a review that I really hate having to give. I am still hopeful that I receive the two dresses that I ordered, but if not - I will reach out to my CC company to have my money charged back to me.

Here is my current experience:

Ordered two dresses on March 8th (For just over $200). One was for a Wedding on May 11th. The initial ETA was March 27th, with a note to add an additional period of up to 10 days for the customizations...so, somewhere around the first week of April, give or take.

Needless to say, I did not have the dress in time for my event. Ended up wearing something in my closet that looked nice, but obviously, was not what I was hoping to wear. I ordered from them because a friend of mine had on a lovely dress for an event last year and when I asked her about it she shared that it was Eshakti, and she was so pleased with how the custom order fit, as she is on the "bustier" side.

With her recommendation, I remembered them when I wanted a new dress for the wedding. Well, it is now May 20th, and like so many others - I have left voicemails (as no one answers the phone), sent emails and messages through their website hoping to get an ETA on my items, which I'd still love to have, provided they arrive before summer is over. No response as of this writing.

I am having the absolute worst experiences with online ordering of late.

If you are reading this and thinking of buying, I can't recommend them based on my experience. I really hate the feeling of not knowing if my stuff will come at all, or if I am wasting time in not reaching out to my CC company - hoping in vain to still get my order.

In any event, this is very frustrating. Ugh!!!!

They need to hire more customer service agents. I’ve been calling and leaving messages for 2 days and I mean calling over and over again. No response from emails. Order is overdue. My daughter has been ordering from them for years and has been very happy so I figured I’d try. Never again!
