Avoid! Predatory "Refund-to-Upsell" tactics during humanitarian crisis
I bought an Explorer 2000 v2 for a humanitarian mission to Ukraine. The unit arrived dead (DOA). Instead of a swift replacement, Jackery support is lying about stock levels to avoid fulfilling my order.
Their "solution"? They want me to take a refund for my original discounted price (950€) and then BUY a more expensive model (3000 v2) at FULL retail price, or wait about 1.5-2 weeks. This is a predatory attempt to exploit a warranty claim for extra profit.
They refuse to ship the replacement that is clearly listed as "In Stock" on their website and refuse to offer a fair upgrade path. Extremely unethical behavior, especially when people's lives in Ukraine depend on this equipment.
Order #EU4438. Shameful service.

Erst nicht Lieferbar...
Ich habe eine Mini Solarzelle bestellt, laut Webseite war die Lieferbar, kurz darauf die Info, dass es derzeit nicht auf Lager ist. Soweit, so gut.
Da es für einen Segelurlaub gedacht war, den wir mit Freunden gemacht haben, war als Lieferadresse die Adresse der Freundin verwendet worden (wohne selbst in der Schweiz). Nachdem die Lieferung erst nach dem Urlaub möglich war, habe ich direkt eine Poststation in Deutschland angegeben, sodass ich es dort abholen kann. Laut Webseite war dies nicht möglich, nach der Erkundigung hiess es jedoch, dass es möglich sei. Wochen später nichts und auf Nachfrage, erhalte ich die Frage, ob die Sendung schon abgeholt worden sei. Sehr irritiert habe ich ein weiteres Mal angerufen, worauf sich herausgestellt hat, dass es keine Lieferung gab und auch keine geben wird. Ich habe storniert! Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von der schlechten Kommunikation auf allen Ebenen und genervt über die Telefonkosten, die dadurch entstanden sind, ohne irgendeine Gegenleistung.

Excessive postage to Northern Ireland
Don’t buy if you live in Northern Ireland. I purchased the Explorer 1000 v2 at a promotional price and paid £49.99 for postage. Assumed this was because of the weight and the problems shipping lithium batteries. It’s a great piece of kit. However I then received an offer to buy a carrying bag for £25. Great, until I found the postage was also £49.99. Queried this with Jackery and they just blamed the carrier they use. Very disappointing and no prospect of me purchasing any more accessories.

I don’t know about the products
I don’t know about the products, but I signed up for their newsletter. After a while I unsubscribed..and unsubscribed..and unsubscribed again but they still kept sending me e-mails. After that I still kept getting mails, contacted their support and were assured by their support that they had unsubscribed me. This has happened three times now. Nevertheless yet another mail was in my inbox today. As said: I don’t know their products but the way they are unable to handle a simple request for unsubsciption makes me NOT want to buy any of their products for fear of what else they are not able to handle.
UPDATE on Jan. 23rd
Just received yet another promotion mail from Jackery. I guess there is no escape.

the worst customer service they dont talk or answer phone?
Hi i am most upset with ur Uk service i have a explorer 2000 pro which all of a sudden is not holding a charge?or even charging at all. i sent all the details as requested to Ur Katrina in the Uk contact although i think she was Dutch??i am disabled and find it very hard to go out? and was promised a pick up from a carrier called wingkai on Wednesday its now Friday an d they called to see if they can come on Saturday?? also the guy who called didn't seem to know much? i.e. will the driver bring a label and proof of pick up? i got an email all mixed up from ur customer service who don't seem to talk? I would like it gone and my money back please as im very disappointed by Jackery.

Finger weg von Jackery!
Wir haben im Juni das Balkonkraftwerk Navi2000 mit Zusatzakku für 2200€ bestellt. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit den Shelly Plugs und der Abschaltung der Solarpanele bei bestem Wetter durch das Navi 2000 versagte das System nach 7 Wochen Betrieb komplett. Es bezog seinen Strom nur noch über das Stromnetz und gab auch nur noch max. 20 Watt ab. Also informierten wir am 24.07.24 den Support über den Totalausfall per Mail. Am 25.07.24 erhielten wir die Antwort das wir versichert sein sollen, das der Support sich innerhalb 24-48 Stunden melden würde - ohne Erfolg. Am 29.07.24 den Support angerufen, eine Mitarbeiterin versicherte uns schriftlich, das das Gerät am folgenden Freitag per Spedition abgeholt würde und jemand von uns zuhause sein müsste um das Gerät auzuhändigen. Meine Frau hat 1 Tag Urlaub genommen aber niemand kam. Kein Anruf von Jackery, keine Mail - gar keine Reaktion. Am 05.08.24 wieder angerufen - Wieder wurde Bedauern ausgedrückt und uns versichert, das sich umgehend darum gekümmert wird. Nichts! 12.08.24 wieder eine neue Mail verfasst - am 15.08.24 kommt eine Standartmail mit der Bitte zur Beschreibung des Problems mit neuer Ticketnummer. Wieder angerufen, wieder Entschuldigungen und eine ratlose Mitarbeiterin am Telefon die auch nicht weiter weiß. Nicht mal eine Mailadresse oder Telefonnummer eines Ansprechpartners kann Sie mir geben - versichert mir aber das das auch so von Jackery gewollt ist und wir kein Einzelfall sind. Was wir aber jeden Tag bekommen ist Werbung von Jackery mit tollen Versprechen, was Support und Garantie angehen. Nichts davon stimmt! Wir werden jetzt erst wohl einen anderen Weg einschlagen müssen, da Jackery wohl meint, man könne das aussitzen

Hatte bei Jackery den Explorer 2000 plus mit Panel und Verlängerungskabel bestellt, allerdings wurde nur das Panel und das Kabel geliefert.
Auf Nachfrage bei Jackery sei angeblich keine Bestellung im System vorhanden und ich als Kunde nicht bekannt.
Da frag ich mich, wer mein Geld dann über PayPal eingezogen hat und mir das Panel und Kabel zugesandt hat?
Fall bei PayPal eröffnet und zum Glück mein Geld zurück erhalten.
Kann diesen Anbieter definitiv nicht weiter empfehlen!
