I aim to create a safe space where people feel supported, empowered and able to regain control at their own pace. No judgement. Just an extra pair of hands when you need one. I bring a wealth of experience working in community support, alongside experience in care work, Mental Health First Aid training, DBS certification and a strong understanding of neurodiversity and learning disabilities. I am a full time single mum with two teenagers. We muddle along with life's logistics ok most of the time, but as anyone who has a child with a brace will know, emergency trips to the orthadontist for it to be repaired are pretty common! When you have to try and fit these visits in around travel for work, meetings etc. it can be impossible, particularly when you have to call in the morning to see if an emergency appointment is available on the same day. The answer to my prayers came in the shape of the very lovely and very wonderful Francesca from Everyday Sidekick. Having checked her availability, I was able to call and make an emergency appointment and she was able to collect my son from school, take him to get his brace fixed, and return him back to school - all whilst I was driving to a meeting 3 hours away. The thought of knowing that there is someone dependable and trustworthy who can help share some of the everyday struggles that all parents face (but particularly single parents), is truly amazing - thank you 😊
After suffering a bout of depression and being in constant pain with my hip I had let the organisation of my clothes pile up and the upkeep of my flat go to disarray.
I called on Francessca. Everyday sidekick to come sort me out so to speak.
I was initially ashamed to have anyone come by as just felt too much chaos had buit up over time and overwhelmed.
Thankfully Francessca was not fazed at all and got stuck in with a positive can do attitude.She was extremly sympathetic to my woes and embarrassment and soon was put to ease. At times I couldn't cope and left her too it then would join her again to soilder on. We enjoyed a cuppa together and as well as leaving me with a well organized very clean space I felt empowered by her it wasn't just a sort out i got a free counselling session thrown in for good measure.
Thank you so much will definatly recommend and be calling on you soon for another session.

Nothing is too much trouble for Francesca, she is such a hard worker I even saw her pulling weeds from my path before knocking on the door.
As well as being an excellent cleaner with very high standards she has taken me shopping, carried it into the house and put it away.
