We had an amazing stay. The house was absolutely beautiful, and the decorating was to the highest standard. The garden was even better than the photos, with so much space for everyone to enjoy.

There were so many activities to keep the whole family entertained, including tennis, French bowls, swimming, a trampoline and a play park for the kids. The outdoor kitchen cabin was also a fantastic addition.

The quad bikes were another great touch and added even more fun to our stay.

The hosts were also fantastic throughout our stay. They were extremely helpful, friendly and always on hand whenever we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail really made us feel welcome and helped make our stay even more enjoyable.

The whole family had an amazing time, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic family holiday. We will absolutely be going back!

The villa is absolutely beautiful – modern, spacious, exceptionally clean and furnished with great attention to detail. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos – actually, even better in real life! The pool, terrace and outdoor area are fantastic and perfect for relaxing and enjoying a wonderful holiday. 🌴☀️

What made our stay especially memorable was the incredible hospitality. From the very first contact until our departure, we felt genuinely welcome and very well taken care of. Every question or request was answered quickly, kindly and professionally.

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Croatia and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place for our large group of families and children.

The villa is absolutely immaculate — spacious, modern, beautifully maintained and clearly designed with families and larger groups in mind. The large lounge gave us plenty of space to relax together, while the two kitchens were a huge bonus, especially for making the most of the traditional BBQ grill and enjoying meals together.

The pool was fantastic and a great size, with floats already pumped up and ready to go, which the kids absolutely loved! There was also so much to keep everyone entertained — tennis courts, basketball and football facilities were a dream for both the kids and adults. The quads were another really fun addition and gave us some great memories.

The jacuzzi and sauna were brilliant, with clear and useful instructions provided so everything was easy to use. The bathrooms were modern, spotless and very well equipped, and the villa had everything we needed, including plenty of utensils and cutlery, making it just as easy to eat in as it was to go out.

A special mention has to go to our host, Meri, who was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. She kept in regular contact without ever being intrusive and was always checking if we needed anything. She even arranged extra towels for our large group and supplied things like bug spray and the correct cleaning products so we could help keep the villa in the immaculate condition we found it in.

The stunning views were the perfect finishing touch, and with the secure electric gates, we also felt completely safe with all of the children running around.

Overall, this villa really has everything you could want for a fun, relaxing family holiday. It was spacious, clean, modern, incredibly well equipped and full of thoughtful touches. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Croatia! It was the perfect choice for a large family or group, with 10 spacious bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.

The villa is incredibly family-friendly, with fantastic facilities for both adults and children. The pool was a huge hit, especially with the pool floats provided for the children. The tennis court was another great feature and provided lots of fun and entertainment for everyone.

There was never a dull moment, with so many spaces and activities to enjoy. The villa is thoughtfully set up so that both adults and children can have a fantastic time together, while still having plenty of space to unwind.

The separate outside kitchen was absolutely amazing and became a real highlight of our stay. It was perfect for preparing meals and enjoying long, relaxed evenings together.

We were a family of 19 (15 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 infants) and stayed at Villa Olea Mansion for a week. The villa itself was beautiful and very well suited for a large group. Our hostess was incredibly responsive and attentive to any questions or needs we had throughout our stay.

Initially, I was a little hesitant about being located in the countryside, but it ended up being the perfect setting. Those who wanted to relax at the villa had plenty to enjoy—the pool, sports courts, and peaceful surroundings—without the hustle and bustle of the city. At the same time, we were within an easy drive of several beautiful coastal towns, making day trips to places like Trogir, Split, Šibenik, and Primošten very convenient. The ATVs available at the villa were also a fun bonus for exploring the surrounding countryside.

One thing to note is that while the villa has 10 beautiful bedrooms, 9 full bathrooms, and a powder room in the outdoor kitchen, only 6 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. This wasn’t an issue for our group, as several of our young adults were perfectly happy sharing bathrooms, but it’s something to keep in mind depending on your group’s needs.

Karlo also helped coordinate a private boating excursion—which ended up being the highlight of our trip—and connected us with a private chef that could prepare a meal at the villa if desired.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend Villa Olea Mansion to anyone looking for a beautiful home base for a large family or group exploring the Dalmatian coast.

We booked our villa, Villa Royal Excelsior through Excelsior villas and we were blown away! It was absolutely beautiful in every way. And the view is breathtaking!

The villa is new for this season and has been done to an incredibly high specification. We spent 5 days at the pool and outdoor kitchen/dining area. There’s also a tv out there which was handy for the World Cup.

The bedrooms are all
Spacious with super comfy beds and the bathrooms and super luxurious. There’s also an indoor hot tub and sauna in case the weather turns.

The family run restaurant next door is also great and very worth a visit.

The only downside of this villa, is that everywhere is a taxi ride as it’s very high on the hill side, but if like us you were looking for somewhere to just chill away from it all then that’s no issue. Also that’s why you get the view!

Re booking Karlo was super easy to deal with and organised everything we needed, including Chef Ivan who was fab.

Lastly everything here has been thought of including the table tennis table and large outdoor Bluetooth speaker to enjoy your sundowners with some great tunes.

Would we stay again? You bet ya!

The house was really big and comfortable. We really felt homey there and there is nothing to compare it to. It is a once in a lifetime experience! The hosts were really nice and all in all everything was great!

We booked our family holiday through Excelsior Villas and we couldn't have been happier. From our first point of contact, Karlo answered any questions we had and was available to chat at any time. The house we picked, Villa Rivendell in Split, was absolutely amazing and was everything and more as described on Excelsior Villa's website. My family and I loved our stay here! The villa is gorgeous with so many amenities which was perfect for a big group. The place was also very clean and we arrived to some complimentary food and drink which was very kind. Karlo was always quick to respond, including helping with taxi booking. He also recommended a private chef, Ivan, that came and cooked an excellent meal. You're an hour from Split and only 25 mins from Krka national park which was also a highlight. All in all, I would definitely recommend this villa!
