I think the manager who i spoke to is so rude. IF YOU ARE BLIND THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT THE INSURANCE WONT COVER FOR THE FIRST 2 MONTHS. (They send in email) which isn’t appropriate for every person especially if you can’t see. This should be CONCLUDED ON THE PHONE when someone is registering their LOVING ANIMAL. They couldn’t cover our pet because it got sick too early she said. QUOTE

Ordered on the 18th November 2025. Item wasn't dispatched within a week, I emailed and have no reply, phone number doesn't work either. Safe to say it's scammers or very bad customer service, either way I cannot recommend. Account submission is also over due for the business on companies house, under the name peak pets ltd.

Live food arrived safely and well packed, I also am grateful for the freebie! I also emailed asking when my order would arrive as I didnt see a date and they got back to me promptly, will definitely come here again:)

I ordered crickets and locust for my bearded dragon at 12pm Thursday the 15th of May. It is now 1:25pm on Monday the 19th of May and they still haven’t been dispatched. I have emailed a number of times and have not had a reply. I emailed on Friday and I emailed today and still nothing. I’ve tried calling the number they offer but it does not work, which is very convenient! I would not order from here at all!

I ordered a few hundred pounds worth of lamps on 7th April 2025. Despite them being showing as IN STOCK when I ordered them i got an email shortly after id paid saying they were out of stock and wouldn’t back in stock for a number of weeks. I wasn’t happy about this. If they are out of stock why are you listing them as being in stock?

I requested a full refund on 8th April and bought the lamps from Reptilecentre,com, from where they arrived promptly, despite numerous emails and trying a telephone number that doesn’t work I’ve not received a refund for my £300 order. It has now been over THREE weeks.

Frankly this is a disgusting way to treat customers,

Recently bought my second River Toad from exotic pets.
Dealt with via the telephone and email with a wonderful woman called Gemma. The first time i received an animal via courier and I don't think it could of gone any better.
Great communication from the exotic pets team.
Great communication form the courier.
Fast response to emails.
Package came with heat matt due to the timemof the tear.
Excellent service all round.
Will definitely use exotic pets to purchase more toads when they are in
stock.

My Trinidad dwarf sling and live food arrived safely and well packed after a short delay due to freezing temperatures which is understandable and in the spiders best interests. Will highly recommend as they do put welfare first. Excellent communication too. Thank you so much exotic pets! Will definitely buy from you again 😊 Jeanette

Got my first spider from here. And now have 2 more. Always helpful always friendly. Cold weather during shipping so was shipped with heat pads. Excellent service and after care too.

We got our first tarantula spiderling arrive today our asian fawn arrived nicely packaged and warm and in great condition we've ordered from exotic pets before and we always have a great experience with them customer services are very fast in responding to any of our questions 😀

We adopted our bearded dragon from here. Absolutely brilliant service from beginning to end. Very friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Freddie fits in really well with our family, we had him delivered & home within 24hours. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now, even started to order his food from here too. Great team 🦎💙

Great company that truly care about their animals and supporting their customers.

I was wary about buying a snake online but they offered such variety of choice (including older snakes who were ready to go into full sized vivariums) and such helpful advice (I asked a LOT of questions as this was my first) that I was fully confident by the time I ordered.

I appreciated that they explained why I needed certain items for the viv rather than just stating it and that they checked I had everything before letting me buy.

The snake itself is wonderful; despite being 3 years old it had clearly been handled and was not viv defensive. A ready made, healthy pet.

Fabulous customer service. I dealt with Gemma via email and phone, she was amazing. I was given advice and she kept in contact though the process. My chubby frogs came by courier and they also kept in contact over the 24 hours before delivery. Fantastic prices for livestock and accessories. Highly recommend

I checked Friday to see if my item was dispatchrd it was awaiting dispatch so i had a sleep over at a friends. Then i come back home Saturday night to see a missed delivery with Post Office, now i have to wait till Monday, live pets.... Half the time they are always out of stock of simple things aswell.

Have used them for over 2 years, quite happy about everything else and customer service.

Apart from delivery times and notifications.

I bought a Venezuelan suntiger and a Brazilian black and white spider they came perfect and were very freindly and they adapted to the both the enclosures I made them ty and also cheap website

Great site very informative and updated well, purchased a sub-adult male Ackie monitor and the whole process with Gemma was a breeze, great communication & love the assessment needed in order for sale. Ackie arrived on time by reptile courier who also kept me updated along the way. Received a very beautiful, healthy monitor, Now time to settle him in!

After purchasing some Neon day geckos months ago and having a great experience with exoticpets I decided to get my first snake. Gemma was great in advising me what would be the perfect snake for me due to my big enclosure and she sent me a selection of the more friendly snakes to choose from. All the feeding records were sent to me too. The snake arrived today safe and sound and he's beautiful. You can tell this company really care where thier animals are going. 10/10 experience and will use everytime if I plan to get any more exotics. On behalf of Earthworm Jim we thank you.

I recently bought two Indian stick insects, which are doing really well. Exotic Pets offer a prompt service with excellent care taken to ensure livestock is securely packaged. Their website has lots of information on the care of exotic pets and are happy to answer queries on the care of exotics. I would definitely recommend them, and will purchase again.
