The only service they offer is for a lawyer to proof read your personal statement and to submit your documents for you. I recommend saving yourself their hefty non-refundable fee and to submit your own application.

Context:

I’ve been on a Skilled Worker Visa for over 4 years. I was made redundant in Feb 2023. Since I’m so close to obtaining my Indefinite Leave to Remain (after 5 years) I was desperate to be able to keep my visa since I am so close.

Expert Law advised me that I can obtain a partner’s Visa since my partner currently has Indefinite Leave to Remain. They did, however, NOT inform me that I would loose the 4 years I’ve already spent in the UK. One would expect them to know this and to raise this issue.

We then decided to go for the Global Talent Visa instead since my 4 years would not reset on this visa type. All they asked me to consider if I qualify for the visa type is wether I’m a Software Engineer which I am. Their fees were exorbitant since they considered this visa type x2 which meant I had to pay their fees twice (£3000). I was desperate and thought I would get legal counsel and guidance so my chances of success would be higher. I was very wrong.

My visa was denied with a very clear NO. I was shocked. The lawyer handling my case NEVER raised any concerns about my application and the potential of it being denied. I also had to spot check and correct the application a few times and had to correct the spelling of my name in a few places. After the denial, the lawyer just said they were sorry and left it there.

Overall, I was expecting the lawyer to provide guidance on the visa type and to know the rules of each visa type. In my case I would have expected the lawyer to gather my documents and then to advise me that the application was not strong enough and that we should consider another route. No such guidance was received. All I got was a person that clicked on a few buttons online and submitted my documents for me.

THERE IS NO INCENTIVE FOR THEM TO OBTAIN YOUR VISA SINCE THEIR FEE IS ALREADY PAID AND IS NON-REFUNDABLE! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

First and foremost, the communication throughout the entire process was outstanding.
