Very flexible program that gave me the chance to be able to complete it while taking classes full time! My fellow externs and mentors were also super supportive and gave constructive feedback that I can use for the future! It also helped me land my consulting internship at a big 4 company this upcoming summer!

For me, the most rewarding part of my externship program was simply the opportunity to learn and be amongst like-minded peers. I had been passionate about conversation and our oceans ever since I was little watching documentaries with my father but never had many opportunities where I could learn more about them or relate to others that were just as fascinated by these topics. luckily thanks to the amazing team at paragon one, National Geographic, and the Nature Conservancy, my experience provided that and so much more. If I'm being honest despite my passion for the ocean and conservation I hadn't done much towards making impactful change in either, part of myself was always afraid that whatever I did would not amount to much, but by going to our weekly meetings, learning from leading professionals in their respective fields, and going out and doing the necessary fieldwork I realized that all it takes is someone passionate enough and willing to impact change. I may have learned many things from this experience but what I'm most thankful for, even to this date, is finding the courage within myself to go out and enact change. An experience I hope many others get to share.

I enjoyed every bit of my experience as an extern. The company staffs are nice and always willing to help out. I also got to build my network.

Glad to have participated in this venture by PwC and Paragon One filled with motivating colleagues and dedicated leaders. The growth and skills I acquired along this program have been enriching as I was challenged but at the same time given the tools and resources to push through problems and deliver results in a real-life business decision.

I learned the skills that are needed to conduct the rebranding of a company's image as we focused on how to make the name, logo, and tagline of the Southern Scholarship Foundation more appealing and effective toward its goal. In the comparative analysis we did I was able to improve my research skills and sharpen my time management to be efficient along with many other skills that will complement my career in the future.

I completed a Non-Profit Consulting Remote Externship with Paragon One in collaboration with PwC and Colorado "I Have A Dream"​ Foundation this summer.

During this seven-week externship, I further developed crucial skills such as trend analysis, market mapping, and impact assessment. I am also delighted to share that I was chosen as a final presenter and shared my research and recommendations with all the exceptional professionals involved in this opportunity.

This externship has been one of my most rewarding professional experiences. Not only did I connect, learn, and collaborate with fellow externs and professionals from PwC and Paragon One. I was also able to voice potential solutions to existing challenges to a non-profit that has impacted the lives of so many people.

It was truly an honor to dive into the consulting world while working with such an extraordinary non-profit and the PwC and Paragon One team!
