Although the material itself was fine
Although the material itself was fine, but I ended up paying almost 3x the value of the equipment, where there was an additional 63 euros to receive equipment from national DHL distributor - after paying shipping and taxes in the website. Express delivery was requested, but delivery service was not express, including with 'failed deliveries' at 23:09. While I understand this is not entirely the fault of Extreme Meters, better delivery services is certainly needed (for the benefit of both parties) and be more accurate about international shipping cost estimates. Paying over 3x the price of the equipment just for shipping is a kick in the teeth for anyone.

Weder Ware noch Geld zurück erhalten
Da mir der Trackingverlauf mehr als seltsam vorkam, habe ich mit Extremmeters Kontakt aufgenommen. Es hat sich herausgestellt, das die Ware wieder zurück in die Vereingten Staaten gesendet wurde und dort noch immer unterwegs ist. Zwar bedauert Extremmeters das, aber ist nicht bereit mir wenigstens den Kaufpreis rück zu erstatten, bis das Gerät wieder bei ihnen eingelangt ist. Weiters durfte ich mir auch noch den Vorwurf anhören, das es meine Schuld ist, die auf der Webseite vorgeschlagene Versandart gewählt zu haben. Nie mehr wieder!

We shipped your order within 24 hours. We shipped your order according to the method of shipping you chose. There was a delivery attempt and an offer to pick up your package within the timeframe we displayed. We promptly responded to every request you made. Unfortunately, you chose to not receive the package which you chose to leave out in your correspondence to us. Since you did not accept the package, we are not sure why your placement of fault is at us?

After reviewing your order, it appears the delivery estimate you may have been looking at was for UPS or UPSP Express Mail. USPS 1st class International which you chose displays up to a 4 week delivery estimate. Again, sorry you are not receiving the meter in the timeframe you require but it looks like this may have been a mistake by not selecting a faster shipping option at checkout. If you can repeat the issue you are discussing, please take a screen shot and send it to us.

Extremely deceptive sales practices
Extremely deceptive sales practices. The Extreme Meters webshop is designed in such a way that potential buyers from EU think they're dealing with a Dutch webshop. I thought so too, and in the end, this tiny, shoddy barrel cooler cost me double the standard price due to several import taxes! I hope this will warn other EU buyers about these scams.

We’ve designed our site to be straightforward for international customers, and all the shipping options presented, including the one you selected (First Class International), are for international delivery. We ship to Europe daily without issue, but I completely understand how international taxes and duties can be frustrating.
