Great LinkedIn social scheduler, with a few gaps worth knowing about
I've tested a lot of social media tools from AppSumo (where I found Feedboss), and FeedBoss earns its spot in my rotation. The core promise, AI-generated social content scheduled on LinkedIn, actually delivers, which is rarer than it should be in this category.
The workflow is straightforward: you give it your topics, links, or content direction, and it generates posts tuned for each platform. The writing quality is genuinely good. The scheduling calendar is clean, posting is reliable, and managing multiple accounts from one dashboard saves real time every week. For the LTD price versus paying monthly for Buffer or Hootsuite tiers, the value proposition is strong.
Now the honest downsides, because there are a few:
First, there's no true "plan a month with one click" experience. You can manually build out a month of content, the tools are all there, but doing it properly takes hours. You can plan out a week or month of text posts in minutes with the click of a button and schedule them with another click. But if you want generated images or carousels attached to each post, there's no way to add them in bulk. Each one is its own manual process, which is where the time sink really lives.
Second, the AI handles references awkwardly. If you give it links and ask it to include them in a post, it writes out the link text but doesn't actually hyperlink it, you're left adding the URL yourself. Same pattern with images: tell it to add an image and it will describe what the image should be instead of creating or attaching one. It's a "writes the instructions but doesn't follow them" quirk that you learn to work around.
None of this is a dealbreaker, it's the kind of friction you plan around once you know it exists. The generation quality, scheduling reliability, and multi-account management all work great, and those are the things that matter day to day. If the devs add bulk media handling and proper link/image embedding, this goes from very good to best-in-category.
Five stars, I'd buy it again, and I'm actively using it. Just go in knowing the bulk workflow that includes more than text isn't there yet and budget your time accordingly.
