My default printing service in the future
When I first discovered Ficta3D, I was very skeptical. There were only a handful of reviews, and they were all positive—which, on the one hand, made me even more skeptical, but on the other hand, also encouraged me to try it out for myself.
I wanted to make 3D tokens out of resin for my pen-and-paper gaming sessions. However, due to health issues, buying and using my own resin printer wasn’t an option for me. After a quick search, I came across Ficta3D. I uploaded my figures and was shown very reasonable prices.
So I finally decided to give the service a try. My order was a bit large, so it took a few weeks to complete. When I asked how long the process would take, I received prompt and friendly responses. Ficta3D was able to meet the deadline I set, so the miniatures arrived on time. The quality is very good—better than what I probably would have printed myself. I’m all set for my pen-and-paper campaign for the coming months, but I’ll be back for future sessions.
Despite my initial skepticism, I can wholeheartedly recommend this service.

Great for test prints
I wanted to test print a 3D model I had created recently and the place I normally went to 3D print went out of business. The prints I got from them were very nice, good details, a lot more sturdy then thought they would have been and overall a great quality at a great price.
My only quip about the experience would be that I was a little confused about the differing print qualities. I ordered the model I wanted printed in all 3 available print qualities to try and understand the differences between them, but found they were not all too different from one another. My only suggestion might be to better define the differences on the website and showcase the differences with photos so people can make a more informed decision.
Other then that great place that does great work.

You’re right — in the new platform we’re working on, we’ll make sure to present the differences between our resin types much more clearly. Your idea of showing photo examples is excellent, and we’ll definitely use it — thank you for the suggestion.
That said, the differences between the three resins can be quite hard to spot with the naked eye, as they are more technical and affect the miniature’s everyday use and durability rather than its look.
• Detail resin offers the highest resolution, but the difference is only visible under at least a 3x magnifier and with very close inspection compared to Gaming resin.
• Gaming resin is sturdier and withstands most “gaming” handling. For example, if a Gaming resin miniature and a Detail resin miniature were to fall from the same height, the Gaming one would typically sustain none or less damage.
• Ultra resin combines both qualities, and in a direct side-by-side comparison, it’s often difficult to distinguish it from the other two.
