Received first class service from the Film Camera Store when buying a point and shoot camera for my daughter's Christmas. Their expert advice was most welcome and their customer service of the highest standard. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them. Thank you for all your support.

100% Do not use this company. Bought a camera from them at the end of last year which arrived late. I decided to return the camera when it arrived, so I emailed them. They got in touch with me minutes after sending email saying I should return the camera to their address and the refund will be processed 5 days later. I've returned the camera on the 21st of December 2022, tracked and delivered. To this day, they aren't replying to my emails and disputing my claim on Paypal. Will be pursuing them in small claims court out of principle.

The waterproof camera that I purchased especially for a snorkelling experience abroad Was a disaster. The outer case lost a piece of plastic which meant that I was unable to take any underwater photos.

Had an issue with with camera I purchased, submitted using the form on the website and emailed twice yet no reply from them... Currently have a £100 paperweight.

I ordered batteries with my camera but the batteries have not arrived yet.

I needed to get an Om10 manual to use my late mates 35mm camera. You sent me an original one. All is good. Thanks.

Arrived on time well packed and in perfect condition

I ordered a few of the mystery items; an Aztec camera strap (which is great), an unbranded large loud and bold SLR bag and a large unbranded loud and bold compact camera bag.

Don't bother buying the bags.

I received a small navy blue lowepro slr bag which would only fit an SLR and one attached lens with maybe some wipes. Not the loud and bold unbranded bag I ordered which is supposed to hold 2 extra lenses alongside the camera, and still have space for a large flash unit.

The compact bag has the same issue, it is also a navy blue lowepro bag, which will hold a compact camera and maybe a roll of film.

Loud and bold generally means bright colours, patterns etc. Where does drab navy blue fit into that?

As an aside, these are branded bags, not the biggest problem in the world obviously but come on, if you offer branded bags and unbranded bags, at least give us what we pay for.

This is not as advertised at all.

If you don't have the stock to fulfill an order just tell us rather than sending any old rubbish from other orders.

your website said sign up to get extra savings which I did , and yet it didn't give me any extra savings. I emailed.

I was sent a dirty camera that was covered in fungus. Had to send it back and pay for postage. I’ll change this review if/when the situation is resolved

Camera was broken and would not work. I had to pay return postage. Cost me £5 to be sent a broken camera that was obviously not working. Refund sorted efficiently but still cost ME money. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

My order was taken with payment, paid for express delivery and delivery is days late !

Is this a scam site?? Whilst I obv wasn't expecting a Mamiya when paying just £20 for a 'fun' Lomo-style camera, the nasty, cheap camera received looked like an infant's throwaway toy. The Fujicolor 26exp they charged £10 extra for turned out to be a 'My Love' (?) nasty, cheap Chinese brand - with 12 exposures and no expiry date. Then, just to make absol sure I understood just how poor this company is they then ignored my email. I'll spend whatever it takes but i will get this refunded and, in the meantime, i'll post reviews wherever i can.
6/1/23: This operator is so sure of their quality of service... they tried to delete my review. They are also 'mistaken' in claiming to have replied to my email; I contacted them via their chat, they never emailed me (other than marketing spam), and never addressed the false advertising of their product.
6/1: Another distortion in yet another over-defensive reply by this vendor: Your staff were not described as 'pathetic' or 'laughable' - that makes no sense whatsoever - but your website accuracy, your quality of product, your standard of customer service certainly were!
You didn't even bother to advise re the substitution of a blatantly inferior quality film, you then made no apology for it - and yet you spend 10x longer trying to try deflect criticism of a pathetic quality of customer experience! Maybe try focus on the customer experience rather than on your thin-skinned response to criticism of your poor product and service??
& Keep the money - I'd rather throw this rubbish away than pay for postage and waste any more time on such an appalling operator.

Very pleased with the service. Had to cancel order and get an immediate, no quibble refund.

Ordered a camera - estimated delivery was 30th Nov - 2nd December. Royal Mail did not receive the parcel until 13th December, and I have still not received the camera (which was shipped by Everi, therefore should not have been impacted by Royal Mail strikes).

They are currently posting on instagram that orders will arrive in time for Christmas. When I commented that I still have not received my order from November, the deleted the comments and told me that I am “slurring their instagram” and blocked me. At no point did I swear or post anything rude in the comments. Was simply stating an honest review that could have been dealt with professionally.

Update: Camera has still not arrived 29.12.22. They also tried to dispute this review so it would be taken offline on Trustpilot, but still have not gotten back to my recent message regarding a refund.

Excellent communication, fast shipping, great price, you couldn't ask for any more!!

Initially they were very helpful in helping me to choose the right camera. I paid over £90 but to date no camera has been delivered. Customer services who originally were very quick to sell me a product, have refused to answer any of my queries. Banging my head against a brick wall, would be more fun. So, they have over £90 of my money. I have no camera. Make your own mind up about this company. My advice would be to shop elsewhere. Shocking.

The excellent advice, speed & personal approach on chatline, and prompt delivery despite postal delays. And the packaging was excellent - took ages to unwrap which reassured me that FCS care about their service. :)
