Excellent experience
I had an excellent experience working with Finders International. From the outset, their team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, expertise, and genuine care in handling what can often be a complex and sensitive process.

Four years have now and still waiting
Four years have now passed since I was visited by FI representative informing me that I was one of multiple beneficiaries to a late great Aunts estate.
I am still waiting for a positive conclusion to this business. No information or contact has been made to me providing any status updates. The only information I get is what I request and the info has always been quite vague.
Strangely, when I email the case manager, most occasions it get an automated reply stating that the person is on holiday! Very odd and I now feel I'm being evaded and becoming somewhat suspicious of this company and their activity.

Inheritance
After being told from finders for results ,six months to a year for finalising our inheritance , over two years now and still waiting. Was told there would be regular updates , but we kept doing all the chasing but to no avail. Wish we had gone with another company who would keep us informed. Jill Williamson.

Very poor experience
I have to say I have found the opposite of what a lot of reviews here say. We were contacted by them nearly 3 years ago and after the initial exchange of information, including their assurances about keeping us informed of progress, that has been the last from them.
We did contact a couple of times but got fobbed off to Solicitors they had engaged, who in turn referred back to finders. Looks like they just carve it between them, but it would have been nice to know!

Excellent service for legal practitioners
Finders have helped us with a number of cases involving lost beneficiaries in probate matters.
In each case Finders have been very efficient in responding to our initial query, detailing the terms and costs of their involvement from the beginning in clear language and were very speedy in providing us with the outcome of their searches. Unethical cold-calling.
Since writing the review below, I replied to Finders International's messages via Trust Pilot and their response has been positive. They are investigating what happened and confirmed that it was only one woman who cold-called at my house although the name of two were given to me. I hope they will revise their training. In my opinion, I think they should only write to bereaved people offering their services and should certainly check mail and telephone preference registers. ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS: Two women from this company cold-called at my home one Saturday afternoon and left a card as we were out. On our voicemail was another cold-call message from another woman from the company. When I phone that woman back she told me that the matter was in connection with my father's estate and yet the card stated "A case enquiry", as if someone else had commissioned them not that they were seeking to be employed by us. I told them I was not interested and was very unhappy about this approach. I asked to speak to a senior person and was told that no one from the complaints department was available but they would call me back. I ask them to call me back the next day but heard nothing. I found the experience very intrusive and unethical. I am a savvy professional but I can imagine that someone else might be signed up for their services. The testimonials here indicate that people can find themselves committed to high hourly fees for minimal outcome. It would just about have been appropriate if a letter was sent introducing their services but I found this creepy. They should stick with offering their services to professional organisations not to individuals. This type of company needs to be properly regulated as they could be exploiting vulnerable people. Read the other reviews and proceed with extreme caution. I notified my solicitor with whom we are working and will be reporting this to Trading Standards and others (BBC R4 Money Box, BBC You and Yours). It seems they are a very sales driven organisation. Oh, and do run any names they leave behind via LinkedIn.
