I picked up a new pair of sunglasses at the Royal Windsor Horse Show after I spectacularly abandoned my original Finlays on a London bus. Somewhere, out there, a very confused commuter is looking fabulous.

The team on the Finlay stand were absolutely top‑notch, the sort of stylish sages who can look at your face for three seconds and declare, with great authority, what shape will make you look effortlessly put‑together. They guided me through frames, lenses, and the subtle art of choosing sunglasses that won’t immediately be sacrificed to public transport.

The new pair are glorious: beautifully shaped, brilliantly light, and now my go‑to over my Ray‑Bans, which are currently sulking in a drawer.

In short: fabulous glasses, fabulous people, and I fully intend not to lose these ones. Probably...

Exceptional customer service from Tallulah, who went above and beyond sorting out Easter gifts for my sons after getting them Noel Gallagher Chiltern sunglasses for Christmas. Could not recommend enough and the only place I will order sunglasses from in the future. Thank you so much!

My husband ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses. They arrived quickly by DHL but one pair were the wrong design. On calling Finlay to explain the error they immediately despatched the correct pair and we received them less than 24hrs later. Very gorgeous glasses, stylish and quality. The customer service was excellent too. We will certainly order form this company again and recommend.

Tin crap. £175 could have got better glasses from poundland. I am actually devastated that i spent this much money on these things

Fantastic Sunglasses

Bought two pair of spectacles (Marshall and Bowery), each with varifocal lenses. Great service at the Broadwick Street store, and then from the online team as they arranged shipping. Fantastic specs and equally good service.

I had an issue with my first delivery from Finlay & Co, once I contacted them reguarding my issue, they were very quick to order me a replacement , also threw in a free leather travel case for the misunderstanding. Their customer service is spot on, and I will be using them again.

Cool sunglasses, expensive for what they are but it's the same with most brands. I like mine.

Shocking company with appalling customer service
Sent me an offer to claim 25 per cent off any purchase
Bought a case to go with a previous purchase of their sunglasses ( not that great either for the £150 price tag and actually very flimsy)
The voucher didn’t work so I requested that they didn’t dispatch the case
They dispatched it anyway and charged me full price
Query email met with “ you have to spend £50 to get the discount”
Resent them the actual offer to prove it clearly stated “ Any purchase”
They’ve ignored alll correspondence since Avoid this company and find a supplier that cares for its customers !

Zahra gives a brilliant eye examination. Mariya is superb at suggesting frames. I've received lots of compliments and love being able to see so clearly.

Love these sunglasses! I got the Percy in brown. I was a little put off by the price at first, but I wanted to invest in a pair of high-quality sunglasses I would use for years, rather than some plasticy ones that wouldn't even last the summer. I'm very glad I did. These are incredibly well-made, and they look great.

So impressed by FINLAY - the best eye test I have ever had! The team are extremely kind and informative. Looking forward to visiting the Notting Hill store again soon!

Had an issue with my Hamiltons, this was resolved very quickly thanks to the excellent customer service.

Badly adjusted, slipping off my head. I am really disappointed this time round buying their sunglasses, they came so badly adjusted I cannot wear them as they fall off my head. The screwdriver set I got did not work in fixing it, and their customer service said I should come to their store to have it fixed, not very convenient. Well it is for sure the worst pair of sunglasses I ever got.

I absolutely love Finlay sunglasses. They’re my go to. The website function that shows them on your face is helpful for styling but if you possibly can, I would go into the shop. They really know their stuff and I adore the style they picked out for me. Plus they’ve now done the same for a friend and my partner! Can’t recommend enough!

The warmth and professionalism of the staff was such a lovely added benefit. Choosing glasses can be a bit of boring life admin.

I had an eye test first. Lovely optician and she even discovered that I had a slight stigmatism which had never been picked up before. Good job as I’ve been faithfully having my eyes tested for years.

I went in and decided to let them choose frames for me & it was so fun. One of the guys took one look at my face and was like “ ‘the Vivienne’would look great on you” Not satisfied… I tried on about 10 other pairs but he was totally right. ‘The vivienne’ was the most suited to my face shape. It’s quite a skill to be able to do that so efficiently.
They really listened and got me sorted out quickly. A few weeks later I went back to get my glasses tightened (the issue being my tiny nose & them slipping off & nothing to do with the lovely craftsmanship of the glasses) and again, it was sorted in two shakes of a lambs tail.

Would highly recommend. My Finlay experience was both style AND substance.

I love my Henrietta sunglasses. Beautiful design and quality and comfortable to wear. Best sunglasses ever.

Wide selection of styles with cool, affordable ones, too - better than ones I get at a high end optician in the US. The glasses arrived in only 11 days here in the US. Aggie's advice on frames was spot on. My old glasses broke from a minor accident while traveling in London. Aggie and Nicky gave kind, caring service even though I was still shaken. The progressive lenses are the best, clearest prescription I've had. Thorough, excellent customer service throughout the whole experience!

I had an Eye Test in the Notting Hill branch of Finlay.
All the staff in the store were friendly, polite and attentive. Zahra tested my eyes with state of the art of equipment and was very knowledgeable, thorough and professional.
The Eye test was £30 and there was no pressure for any further appointments or to purchase any glasses. A follow up appointment to carry out further more specific tests at no extra charge. Highly recommended.

The transaction was quick and easy. The sunglasses looked just like the picture, and you will get an email to confirm your order. They work hard to ship your item as soon as possible so you can start tracking it.
