Well unfortunately my experience with this company got a lot WORSE!! The customer service is non-existent and they have ignored all further correspondence with me. They have refused to replace the damaged goods they supplied both the hearth and the mantelpiece which has GLOSS paint on a Matt black mantle!!!! I offered to accept it and asked them to pay for the necessary repairs and have heard NOTHING!!! Do not touch this company - it is AWFUL - they knowingly will send faulty goods and do nothing to rectify the situation!!

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Ordered a brick chamber on 5/12/22, after chasing them for 7 weeks they finally delivered, the incorrect product, no communication as too when the driver was booked into collect so had three failed attempts. Waited another 4 weeks with me constantly chasing them, rude incompetent staff on the other end of the phone who can't wait to get you off the line. Asked for a refund. Let's hope they know how to process that.

Bought a Flavel Diamond gas fire for a new extension from them. Having placed the order they came back with an additional £50 delivery charge. We were not able to fit the fire immediately due to delays in the building work, but when we did, it was faulty and gave out CO. The fire itself is very poorly made. They fobbed me off on the phone and have not responded to any correspondence.

The warranty registration was supposed to be completed within 14 days of installation. The installation was never completed because the installer never signed the fire off as safe, so we replaced it with a different model. Everything I have said is correct. Your reply shows what kind of service to expect.

Do not under any circumstances ever use this company, they are crooks, thieves.
Ordered a gas fire, paid alot of money for it, low and behold they didn't have in stock, so asked for money back and they put the phone down, after numerous phone calls and emails no answer.
They have however my money, mine.
Which I work hard to get unlike them who rip people off. Shameful.

Great selection of wall mounted electric fires.Also most competitive price on the Internet. When my fire was delivered it came in 2 parcels .I was informed the 2nd parcel containing the fire glass front was smashed in the box .A call to customer service and I had a knew glass front in less than 48hrs .

We originally ordered this fire place on the 12 November 2022. We were told it would be delivered within 2 weeks but we are yet to receive our fire place. We have been frequently calling the company who tell us it has been dispatched and we should be receiving the fire place however it still has not been delivered. We have had to be the ones to chase the delivery as well with no communication from the company. We have since been told we cannot receive a refund as the item has been dispatched but still no delivery. Do not order from this company

Concerned about contradicting reviews but ordered a fire suite on a Thursday and it was delivered on the following Saturday brilliant service. My wife and I quickly assembled the fire. It has turned our boring square new build room into a warm family room, we are very satisfied.

What a bunch of crooks ordered a fire that was in stock on the website delivery promised 5-7 days so paid but then heard NOTHING rang only to be told that they state all fires in stock on their website and it would be 2 weeks rang again to be told it would be another month so asked for a refund ? and you guessed it heard nothing !! rang again today and was told accounts department not in work last week !! passing it over to CC company now

Ordered a £350 fireplace. Had no communication from them so phoned and was told fireplace not in stock. Promised a refund which didn’t arrive. Phoned. Assured refund was on the way but it still didn’t arrive. Eventually got my money back from Paypal.

Never ever use this company. Won't give me a return label to send item back and get refund. Won't acknowledge my email. Won't give me complaints procedure. Take your money and that's End off. Their T&C don't even comply with the law to protect your consumer rights.

We ordered two beds and were told delivery would between 7am and 7pm. 8pm still beds. Few minutes later they arrived. Good quality. Only thing I can fault is their was no communication to say the delivery was delayed. It would be nice if the delivery team let people know if they are delayed . However the driver was very polite and helpful. Finally a good night sleep is wanted .

I ordered from this company 6 weeks ago and they emailed saying they had the wrong price listed on their website and asked for an additional £170. I declined to pay this extra charge and asked for a refund. 6 weeks later I am still waiting and they keep giving different excuses that accounts re not in or on holiday. I have had to make a PayPal claim to get my refund and they tried to get me to close the case tricking me but after reading may reviews online which state they do this to all their customers I’m glad I didn’t not trust them. AVOID at all costs don’t put yourself through the stress!!!!

Absolutely disgusting company, bought a fire suite only to be told not available, when i agreed to wait 2 months for delivery they called me back only to say i owed another £140 as the fire was sold incorrectly back admin error they said giving me no choice but to cancel! I was told refund in 2 days however after 5 was told accounts not in for 2 weeks was without reasonable explanation i had alarm bells ringing in my head! Contacted Paypal got my money within 3 days when they froze the amount i sent them! Unlucky fireplace4life, you con men!!! Or i should say man as the same asian answers all calls. What a joke! AVOID!!!

Would never recommend this company, happy to take money from my grandparents for a fire that you no longer have in stock.

Weeks of “it will be delivered tomorrow” when you knew full well you didn’t have it

After months of waiting and disgusting customer service from so called manager they had to fight to get their order as they refused to give their money back

I bought a Victorian Fire place and I can't believe the excellent level of service I received. From order on line to delivery the F4L were just great. They were on the button throughout the whole process.

DO NOT USE! They accepted an order for a log burner they could not source. When I contacted them for an update on my order the only option I had was to pay £60 more for the new model which I didn’t want.

Order placed 9th December
Chased 4th January and was told I couldn’t have the log burner I ordered, so I emailed to cancel the order
Chased refund on the 10th January, no response
12th January, threatened them with going to trading standards, response received same day promising refund in 2-3 days
Today - 3rd February still no refund

Complaint will be going to trading standards

ordered a Dimplex Ignite from these guys, couldnt be happier with the look and the quality of the fire. would definately buy from these again

Ordered my Dimplex Fire on the 4th Jan and recieved on the 7th very happy with the delivery especially to my area in the Norh of Scotland. Called the day before to inform me that it will be delivered on that day the purchase was as described and best price all up and working very happy customer

About the only thing this company did efficiently was refund me, after I waited over two months for an electric fire. They don't ring back, they fob you off with e-mails promising your order will be on their next shipment and generally delay matters until you demand your money back. Claiming to have 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, I think the true picture is half a dozen Asian kids on telephones chancing their arm by buying seconds and returns. Don't risk it.
