These guys should not be allowed to trade. Over a week I’ve been trying to get hold of them. Phone lines time out at 2 hours 13 minutes, I know this because I’ve hit it a few times. Complete disgrace AVOID this company like the plague. A weeks worth of work I’ve had to loose because they can’t pick up the phone & I am still no closer to getting the issue resolved.
Impossible to get hold of for anything!
Currently been holding for over 2 hours trying to update my vehicle details unable to work or to anywhere until I can and so have now lost a day's work waiting around on hold for what should have been a simple quick change, no doubt they will try to charge me for the change if I ever do get through to anyone!

I wish i had checked these reviews before taking out a policy. i am encountering the same problems as others- took out the policy, called them to discuss an alteration and nobody answers. i've been on hold for 4 hours and written multiple e-mails. Absolute scam and £500 i'm not going to get back.

Do not use this company. They request information via email, but you cannot reply.
Spent 4 hours on the phone over 2 days to explain to them that they already had the information.
They acknowledged they did have the information all along, but now wanted alternative information.

Please do not use this company. They are a joke! They do not reply to emails or answer the phone. I was on hold for 2 hours only to get through and they hang up on me! Using this company has been one of the worst decisions I have ever made! STAY WELL CLEAR!

Absolute joke of a set up, I’ve had to ring on around 5 separate occasions now and every time I’ve had to wait nearly 2 hours and the last time I rang I was hung up on as soon as they answered. I can’t believe there isn’t some kind of management that are worried about the negligence of there call staff who obviously don’t give a **** about the company and are giving first insurance and there partners a bad reputation, il be taking my renewal somewhere else.

If i could of gave these guys a negative 30 star score i would off...bunch of pirates working in cohoots with the cabal...staff all withhold second names (good pratice when your ripping people off and taking the pee) they have a policy analysis thing they do which is essentially them trying to catch you out on the detials you gave intially so they can rob you some more money halfway through your policy, or in my case a few months in and just before christmas on another occasion too...they then fob you about and make it hard to provide details/get in contact...they tell me they no longer do outbound calls, seems when they have a problem you've got to chase them.....PLEASE PLEASE people stop holding up pirate vessels like this company

Worst insurance company and the worst customer service. Hold times are a joke well over an hour listening to the same 3 bars of terrible music. Doesn't let you know where you are in the queue im not actually sure there is anyone in the call center tbh. We have sent countless emails with zero response im at my wits end I just want to cancel my van insurance and be done with it but THEY JUST WONT LET ME!!!

Went with this company for van insurance got a quick quote on compare sites and they came in the cheapest. Had a question regarding my policy and why my national insurance number was needed, on the first day of cover and attempted to call whilst on my dinner at work my whole dinner hour went and didn’t get no answer. Tried again later that day for another hour and half got no answer. The following day I stayed on the phone for 1 hour 40 minutes and finally got through to someone. At this point I wanted to cancel my policy and was told I had forgot to mention an £80 claim I’d done a couple of years ago for a Brocken window when someone had Brocken in to my van. I was told cancellation fee would be £55 and I had only paid £211 for the year? I was also told if I did not cancel my policy will not go up for failing to mention the £80 claim on window. I complained about waiting times and was told I could contact her through a personal email address so I agreed to stay and not cancel. 6 days later received an email saying they wanted a further £140 for the £80 claim!! Sent emails first got no response called for 2 hours and 30 minutes to be cut off!! Sent numerous emails for them to call me and when they did I was told my window claim was down as a theft and they want more money!! I’ve called my previous insurers who are assuring me it’s down as window damage and shouldn’t affect premium and first insurance are just trying to get more money out of you. I cancelled the policy and first insurance are only giving me a 50% of my money back. Nothing but robbing thieves. This insurance company gets custom by giving out the cheapest quotes but then has a non existent customer service and stupidly high cancellation fees. The personal email address I was given for contact was no good either, when I emailed to question why I had been given wrong information the response was I don’t work on that department anymore Ellie was not interested! Not only should you not use this company but word needs to be spread. An insurance company that lies to put your policy up once you are with them and if you cancel lose 50% of the money you paid after 6 days!! You have been warned spread the word!

Please all don't buy this service. I'm going through really bad time with them, they neglecting them responsibility, its 2 months now I'm waiting for them to change vehicle on my policy and now I'm on the phone to cancel my policy!!!

One star is pushing it as I have had a terrible experience with this company for a number of weeks.
It takes about 90mins waiting on the phone to get through to them
They did not register my documents when I sent them and have threatened to cancel my insurance as a result

Awful! Should have paid slightly more for an insurance company that you can actually talk to. They don't answer phones or emails, so are absolutely useless if you need to get in touch with them.
It would have cost me less if I'd gone with a dearer quote compared to the time spent on hold.
They will email you asking for a lot of extra information e.g. DVLA check codes for every driver, proof of NCD etc. or your insurance will be cancelled.
I was caught out as I had an issue with one of the DVLA codes, and because I couldn't get hold of anyone in the company my insurance was cancelled. This was back in January and I'm still trying to contact them!

Again like all of the other reviews, these people are horrendous! As I type this review, I’m on hold to them chasing a refund they have agreed to when I canceled my policy early, over a month ago.... they don’t respond to emails and the call wait times are phenomenal.... you clearly do pay for what you get.

One star is not even deserved. Even If you can save £200 don't waste your time you will spend it on phone call waiting times so quickly. No help what so ever and an absolute nightmare. Shambolic, fraudulent, time wasters consider jumping off a cliff instead of taking out a policy with these and save the headache.

Called for 2 hours this morning and no reply.
Despite paying my premium and uploading the docs my car is showing as uninsured on MID.

However, I have now managed to get through to them. Fairly quickly this time around too and a friendly person on the end of the phone confirmed that despite not showing on MID my insurance is in place. I'd much prefer it to be on record so I don't get pulled over by the police but at least I have had confirmation.

Never pick the phone even accounting for people working from home. can only amend or cancel by phone. Took several attempts and long waiting times over 30 mins. Exhortbitant amendmend and cancellation charges added on top of refunds received from insurers.

I have not ever managed to speak to someone on the phone since my policy started, despite dozens of atempts over the last few weeks. Phone just rings for 30 mins then cuts off.
They keep emailing me requesting "documents" with out telling me what document they require. I phone several times to no avail, so I email instead. Finally get and answer and upload document X. a few days later i get another text saying they need "documents" same process again to find out what dopcument it is this time. Again, I get told to upload another document.... and so this goes on repeating itself.
if it wasnt for the expensive cancelation fees i would have walked away..

How compnaies like this are even allowed to operate amuses me.
I would have dreaded to have an incident while with them and thank God no longer with them.
I am writing this review as I just needed information regarding a claim on my van. Which was made last year by a third party. The holding times could go into the Guinness World Book of Records.
On first attepmt 1 Hour and a few minutes until my battery died. Rang up again and call just blanked out after 30 odd minutes.
As I write this, I am on the line again for the 3rd time. If it goes on for less than an HOUR, I would have to pinch myself as that would be BECAUSE I AM DREAMING.
I can't imagine if someone actually has an incident and needs to report it to them.
LESSON LEARNT!!!
DON'T ALWAYS SPRING TO THE CHEAPEST QUOTE.
AS THE SAYING GOES " PAY PEANUTS, GET MONKEYS"
