I contacted First Fence Bristol and spoke with Chloe Gill on several occasions. She was sooo lovely. Extremely helpful and kind. Nothing too much trouble. I highly recommend First Fence. I have contacted both Bristol site and main office and have always been met with such a can do attitude. Really appreciate that as an autistic dyslexic pensioner!

Ordered some railings from here to try and match the ones we have already. The company was super helpful from the get go, the receptionist and the sales guy Matt gave great customer service. I needed the railings painting at the factory and they had them delivered a week later. I was kept informed the entire time, the driver called me the morning of the delivery and Matt even followed up afterwards to check my experience. Couldn't fault them, they really impressed me.

Background:
I was planning to enclose my garden in V mesh fencing so that out pets could not escape. I did considerable research in to what system suited my requirements and given the difficult nature of the site the exact specifications I needed.
I contacted five different companies for quotes that ranged quite markedly. I got the quotes but rang up each company for specific queries.

Outcome:
I went for First Fence. They weren't the cheapest but they were competitive and the cheaper companies had not good reviews and not as helpful. The First Fence website I found easy to use and I was dealt with so wonderfully by customer services which gave me confidence to proceed.
I made my order and paid in full - you know that feeling when that is done and you wonder whether you have chosen correctly.
To my surprise after receiving all the correct invoices and confirmation of delivery I was rang up by a lady called Jodie who just wished to go through my order just in case I had made an error (back to difficult site issue). What company does this? They had my money. First Fence obviously does.
I paid more for specific day delivery because of access issues and work commitments. The fact they offer so many personalised options is great.

The week before delivery I was sent numerous communications to confirm details. Today my delivery arrived as promised. Delivered on a flat bed van as needed for the site. Delivered by a guy called Adrian who was so helpful and polite.

Conclusion: I can't recommend First Fence enough. I am a private purchaser who isn't spending tens of thousands but a few thousand on a domestic project. I have been treated like a major account holder and it restores my faith in dealing with companies.

Finally: The products were high quality.

One star because I have to select one. A first fence truck smashed into our car and the company are denying it and doing nothing about it even tho it’s clear on video what happened with audio of the smash happening! Shameful

Toby was very helpful when ordering the temporary fencing from HO ensuring we had all the right extras for our small residential project. Richard, he described himself as the pretty Richard from the Bristol depot, was friendly, respectful of property, and together we got the fencing off the lorry very easily. We chose new and all panels were clean and undamaged, the feet were all clean and the couplers, spanner and pins came in a bag which was useful.
The only negative was we were told we were get a call the afternoon of the day before to advise an approx time - we didn't - and that we said anytime after 9am on the specific delivery day we had chosen - it was delivered at 8am - but we did get the expected call from Richard to say he was on his way - he had no record of the timing request. Even with this, if we had to have temporary fencing again, we would still choose them but something to consider

Went with this company due to their impressive claims on customer focus and communication.
However, when railings were delivered, the damage was immediately apparent. 50 % of the components had substantial amounts of the powder coat finish rubbed off and in other areas, the coating was not in contact with the metal.
Understandably my clients, having seen this, decided that they didn't want to have any dealings with a company that lets this be sent out in this condition, decided to use someone else and I was left to return this scrap. Numerous calls and emails followed to get these materials collected and my outlay reimbursed but all I got from First Fence was accusations that I had done the damage myself with a forklift, which incidentally, I don't possess. The driver that delivered this witnessed this damage as we unloaded it and took pictures.
Anyway, 6 weeks later I was reimbursed for the railings but not the gate, as it was apparently a custom item!
So, I'm £600 down and nobody has the guts to even offer an apology.
Be warned !!

Excellent service. Our delivery driver Colin was great. We had a few issues with a busy site/ dodgy forklift and Colin was very helpful and accommodating on delivery. 10/10

Tried numerous times to order some heavy duty gate hinges , the website was quoting a ridiculous  amount to ship to me app 600 pounds
contacted the sales team to ask for a realistic postage cost and phone again and again and again told each and every time that they will send a email with the correct postage cost which never arrived seems the sales team are not  capable of either returning calls/emails
its a pity as the hinges looked exactly what i wanted/ needed however dealing with the ahem team was so frustration i had to look elsewhere 
still to this day i have not received a return call or email after so many promises
