Disgusting scamming and outright terrible company with awful support staff that won't resolve your issue, and instead ban your account, witholding your funds, with no way to log in or appeal. I signed up to an account with a referral link to take advantage of a promotional deal but Fiverr banned the account whilst I had an active order in progress.

Instead of a refund they send an email issuing a "credit invoice" which you have to log in to use, but if they ban your account - you CAN'T login and have no way to access your funds or get a refund.

I have contacted support on multiple occasions, my emails are actively ignored. This isn't a small amount either, my order totalled roughly £700.

Additionally, an associate of mine signed up and had an order of £200, which was a scam order, the seller had a fake portfolio, delivered subpar work and Fiverr's automatic closing of the gig meant that the scammer was paid, and my colleague lost out. Her account was also banned - as it was referred by myself. Which is a complete and utter joke!

Fiverr only exists to make profit and their Trust Pilot reviews are reflective of that.

The developer I used and I had already paid for Milestone 3 gave up on my project. I started looking for a new developer and Fiverr blocked my account. I did not violate any of its T&Cs, I was simply looking for a replacement of the service. Since then I am trying to ask them to read the messages I sent to contractors, confirm that I acted in line with the T&Cs and reactivate my account. No response from them. They still owe me the money that they hold for Milestone 3!!

After five excruciating years trapped in the Fiverr ecosystem, as both a buyer and a top-rated seller with 200+ glowing reviews, my verdict is unequivocal: RUN RUN RUN.

If you value your sanity, your skills, and your financial well-being, do NOT get sucked into the soul-crushing vortex that is Fiverr.

While I consistently delivered exceptional work, I was surrounded by a sea of talentless hacks churning out subpar garbage. This platform is a cesspool of mediocrity, a haven for the unskilled and unscrupulous.

Fiverr's corporate puppet masters, drunk on power and greed, have rigged the game against sellers. The ever-shifting rules are a Kafkaesque nightmare, designed to bleed freelancers dry and line Fiverr's pockets.

Promotions are a cruel joke, a mirage that promises riches but delivers only financial ruin. Countless times, Fiverr has robbed me blind, and I've heard the same harrowing tales from countless other sellers.

This platform is a den of thieves, a parasitic leech sucking the lifeblood out of hardworking freelancers worldwide.

Don't be fooled by Fiverr's shiny facade. It's a toxic wasteland that will leave you broke, broken, and questioning your life choices.

95% of the messages are scams

Using Fiverr as a seller you are going to be spammed by phishing messages that try to scam you with no option to report them. If the web was free I could understand this, but considering the huge commissions we pay as sellers is just feels like the platform has forgotten of the sellers.

Like all other freelance sites, this one is absolutely filled to the brim with scammers. You'll get a lot of messages, but literally every single one is from a scammer. The one good thing is that Fiverr automatically deletes messages from these scammers, and some atleast are banned, but what does it really matter, they just make new accounts and keep sending the same messages.

My seller account got suspended without any warning. I was providing services of content writing, essay writing, and assignment assistance. a buyer sends me his academic details,I block him, and the very next day my gig was removed and my account was disabled. I have funds available in my account.

Fiverr blocked me and all my gigs, then deleted my account. My clients were left without any way to contact me.

Here’s the background: I create websites on platforms like Readymag, Weblium, and Webflow. You all know that these platforms require email registration. To work on these websites, I had to send my email to clients in open, paid gigs on the Fiverr platform so that I could receive access to the sites. Just think about it! The gig was already paid for, I was working through the platform, but I got banned for supposedly taking clients off the platform. This is absurd.

No one from Fiverr informed me about the ban. For almost a month, I had no idea what happened. For another month, support sent me only copied text responses. No one, I repeat, no one wanted to address my issue. I repeatedly contacted support and sent screenshots showing that I was receiving access to the Readymag platforms to work. I honestly worked on Fiverr, solely through the platform.

No investigation was conducted; they simply blocked me and did so only after I started contacting support. They just deleted my account. My Fiverr name was olades.

I absolutely do not recommend Fiverr because if you encounter any problems, they will just kick you out and ignore your evidence. No one will look into it. It is very cynical and low. I apologize to all my clients who can no longer find or contact me due to this platform!

If you value your time, skills, and sanity, stay as far away from Fiverr as possible. This platform is a veritable hellscape for freelancers, rife with exploitation, lack of support, and constant disrespect for the people who keep it running.

Customer support is a joke. If you encounter any issues – and you will – expect to be met with automated responses and unhelpful, generic advice. The support team is virtually nonexistent when you need real assistance, leaving freelancers to fend for themselves in a hostile environment.

Moreover, Fiverr’s rating and review system is designed to benefit buyers at the expense of freelancers. One unreasonable client can tank your ratings, which directly impacts your ability to get future work. There’s little to no recourse for freelancers to defend themselves against unjust reviews.

Communication on the platform is heavily monitored and restricted, supposedly to prevent fraud. In reality, it’s just another way Fiverr controls freelancers, limiting their ability to build meaningful client relationships and negotiate fair terms.

The lack of protection for freelancers is the final nail in the coffin. If a buyer decides to cancel an order after the work has been delivered, Fiverr almost always sides with the buyer. This leaves freelancers not only without pay but also with wasted time and effort.

In conclusion, Fiverr is a fraudulent and unreliable platform that treats its freelancers as disposable assets rather than valued professionals. The platform’s exploitative practices, poor support, and blatant disregard for freelancer welfare make it the worst choice for anyone looking to offer their services online. Save yourself frustration and money: avoid Fiverr at all costs if you want to maintain your dignity and protect your livelihood.

This company is a disgrace. I have worked so hard and have been doing so well and reached level 1 today. To my shocking surprise i received an email saying my account has violated terms and conditions and that my account will be suspended in the next 60 to 90 days. My gigs were Virtual assistant and product reviews. You can clearly see lots of level 3 and pro sellers offering these gigs. This company is also racist based on a platform of people of colour who's accounts have been taken down. They have suspended me without an explanation. I am extremely angry and disappointed. I shall be taking my talents. Do not sign up as a seller. Your wasting your time. The minute you start making your hard end money, the employees get jealous and start suspending accounts. Shame on them

Customer service seems to be in on the scams. I paid for a 21 day organic promotion. The seller completed it within 2 days, in other words paid for views. I didn't look at fiverr as I wasn't expecting it to be done in less than 48 hours, so payment was automatically accepted. I complained to fiverr customer service who didn't see it was unethical.

I'm going to get my money back via the bank.

The project consisted of 3 milestones. The milestone 2 and 3 was automatically accepted and it was not done. I did not have any time for the revision. They have stolen my money. NEVER USE FIVERR.

The site disabled my 5 star, success level 10, 100 percent response rate and repeated buyer badge account after 12 years without notice or warning, in the middle of the night while I was sleeping due to a single horrible customer requesting to cancel two orders AFTER the work was completed. This is a TERRIBLE site for sellers and the restrictions keep getting worse and more difficult. Their greed rules and so do their buyers....YOU DO NOT MATTER AS A SELLER AT ALL. I am contacting other sellers who have also had similar experiences to try to organize a class action lawsuit against this company for their business practices.

Man half mir nie konkret, sondern wies darauf hin, dass meine Kundenkommunikation angeblich schlecht sei, was absolut nicht stimmt. Heute erhalte ich eine Sperre wegen DAC7-Steuervorschriften, obwohl ich alles konform eingereicht habe und mein Unternehmen auch als Kleinunternehmen angemeldet ist. Einen der größten deutschen League of Legends Coaches mit über 80 5.0-Sterne-Bewertungen innerhalb von 1,5 Jahren einfach so zu verscheuchen und zu ignorieren, ist eine Frechheit. Ich kann Fiverr niemandem mehr empfehlen und rate dazu, eine andere Plattform zu nutzen.

Recent changes to the platform hindered the work for hundreds of successful sellers for no reasons. Instead of taking feedback and addressing the issues, all you get is a generic template from support.
Time to leave to other platforms, that value work of people.

Para nada te aconsejo esta plataforma, no es en absoluto fiable, además perderás tu dinero, ya que no se responsabilizan de nada, solo de darte unos créditos. Un servicio penoso por parte de los vendedores, piénsalo bien antes de comprar ningún pack y asegúrate antes de que puedas tener algo de éxito con ellos.
