I am an experienced PowerApps developer providing services on Fiverr. I recently encountered an issue which has left me questioning the fairness of the platform's dispute resolution process and the effectiveness of its support system.

I was contracted to create a custom PowerApp with detailed specifications including functionality like barcode generation, data filtering, table sorting, and print capabilities. I delivered a functioning app that adhered to the design proposed by the client and met all outlined requirements. The client, however, raised a concern about connecting the app with their SharePoint lists, something that was not possible without access to their environment.

In an attempt to find a resolution, I suggested alternatives and offered revisions. I asked the client to provide specific feedback on the areas they felt were not up to par with the requirements, hoping to make the necessary adjustments. I also ensured them that the app had been thoroughly tested on my end with dummy data and was working flawlessly.

However, the client kept on stating that the work was incomplete without providing detailed information on what they found lacking. They insisted I should be able to perform the tasks without access to their environment, which contradicts the technical limitations of PowerApps development.

Recognizing the severity of the situation, I reached out to Fiverr's support for assistance. I explained the scenario, highlighting that the issues raised by the client could not be addressed without their collaboration. I hoped for intervention from the platform to help mediate the situation and ensure a fair outcome.

To my surprise, I received no response from Fiverr's support. Instead, I found out that the order had been canceled by Customer Support, three days before the delivery deadline. There was no attempt to reach out to me for clarification or explanation. The order was abruptly canceled, disregarding the time, effort, and resources I put into the project and the potential revisions I could have made within the remaining time.

This experience has not only led to financial loss but has also left me questioning the efficacy and impartiality of Fiverr's support system. It's disheartening that sellers can be left in the lurch without any explanation or opportunity to defend their work.

I hope my experience raises awareness about the struggles that freelancers face on platforms like Fiverr, where often, the balance seems to tip unfairly in favor of clients. We, as service providers, deserve fair treatment, effective communication, and a reliable support system.

I would appreciate it if fellow freelancers could share their insights and experiences, and how they've managed to navigate such difficult situations.

Mi sono iscritta a Fiverr per lavorare come copywriter, mansione che svolgo già da un anno ormai. Nel primo periodo ammetto che ho ricevuto molti messaggi da persone interessate ai miei servizi e anche le mie impressioni salivano di molto. Ho inserito un’altra Gig e da quel momento le mie impressioni sono calate, così come i clic che da 7 passavano a 5 per esempio. Esperienza pessima.

One Of The Worse market place ever.....This Market place is totally for the buyers of this platform.....Fiverr support is totally useless for the freelancers.....I am facing this issue 3rd time.....I did not break any rule but the buyer break more than 4 rule still Fiverr ignored that and flag my profile without any valid reason.....They said that i did not Complete the delivery which i did more than 7 times.....i was sure that I won't get any kind of help there but u still gave it a try.....And as expected I did not got any help.....I would say it is the most unprofessional and cheap market place i have ever seen.....The most 1 star reviews are legit here i can see.....And the 5 star reviews are the mostly from fiverr purchase.....At last i will say never came here to meet a bad experience......

Wow I am socked at the level of bad customer service!! I continuously told them this programer is scamming me and I have even sent them picture of him trying to do that and then I tried to cancel the order to no avail no body cares to do anything about it and the scammer keeps doing his scamming me !!! And he has my money without having done any work at all !!

Stay far far far away from Fiverr. They are proactively defending proven scamming sellers, as long as Fiverr gets their cut of the profit, then they don’t care about the rest. The support team is non-responsive, and their entire platform is built to protect the scammers so buyers who got scammed can’t review the seller and tell the truth

If you want to be a seller of your own content, stay away from this site!
They can easily delete your account and all of your services whenever they want and without explanation. They don't care if you've been on their site for years or if you're a newbie. It doesn't matter if you have positive reviews or not, they don't care about you! I strongly advise you not to waste your time with them, look for a good faith company and not this one! - that's my advice)

Most sellers on Fiverr will do crappy work for high cost, all they do is hunt you down for money and they never come thru on their end. Just ppl who trying to work their Brain to rob your pockets. My store is doing terrible thanks to Fiverr sellers. I’ve spent thousands and haven’t made a penny in sales. You lose your money and your dropshipping store messing with these guys.

Very low quality and their service is a joke.

I was working on this platform for more than one year, and have completed more than 150 orders but what I want to say is if it will be any dispute with a client the platform always will take the side of the buyer and even will close the order without my confirmation ( that was happening for 3 times) So, think twice if you want to pay 20% commission from every order and do not have any guaranty!!

Simply exploiting people, same as any other Israeli business. Devaluating people's efforts and time, making them compete for $5. Shame.

Not a safe platform! I requested a plugin to be made, and the seller agreed on the money I paid Fiver to start the project, after a couple of days he(junejonaeem) just ignored me for over 2 weeks. When I reached out to Fiver they said will refund my project and ask me to use another seller! THAT THE LAST THINGS I WANT TO DO! Plus I am not allowed to leave negative reviews as wasting my time and money there!

Company doesn't care about your funds. I bought from 2 different people for work both sent unfished work. I canceled my order and fiver still allowed the payment to go through. I reached them before the 3 day deadline and no answer. When I finally got contacted they said they will help and Wait on update. Never got an update. It's been over the past 3 day deadline and I know the scammers already got My funds. Don't waste your time with fiver. Probably why they made 2 different fiver accounts on trust pilot. I did a 400$ job for a buyer. I found out that this buyer is making orders and at the end is not willing to mark them as completed. This way the seller avoiding from paying. I found out that I am the 3rd fiverr seller that he is doing it. Fiverr's representetive

I can see the order is still active and keep in mind that only your buyer is able to complete the order from his side, so I can only advise you to communicate with him and assist him until you reach an agreement.

If you believe the order can not be completed and you are unable to reach an agreement, I recommend using the resolution center to cancel the order."

Update: I've just emailed they canceled the order. This means I worked for free for this guy

I am an experienced buyer and seller on the platform (today 22 reviews).
Unfortunately, as a seller i discovered that it is very easy to trick the system and avoid paying the sellers.
When an buyer account is closed the platform gives back the money of all open projects to the buyer, regardless of the work done by the seller.

in this way, the buyer gets the project without paying anything.

it is ridicolous. I got into it twice (those are the fraudolent buyers: jmanudi and georgipietr). The worst part is that the second one also had 2 reviews.

FIVERR takes massive commissions from sellers and buyers too, but it clearly does not guarantee the sellers

Deliver high-quality work to your clients: This will increase the chances of them leaving a positive review.

Communicate effectively: Keep your clients informed about the progress of their orders and address any concerns they may have promptly.

Be responsive: Respond to messages and queries from your clients in a timely manner.

Be professional: Maintain a professional attitude throughout your interactions with clients.

Follow up: Send a polite message to your clients after the completion of their order, asking if they are satisfied with the work and if they would be willing to leave a review.

It's important to keep in mind that buying reviews is prohibited by Fiverr TOS and can lead to account suspension.

I have been waiting for 2 weeks for support to get back to me on a petty issues caused by their product limitation - adding my billing address on a receipt

I recently had an order where as a seller I performed all the work, but the client wanted endless changes, many outside the scope of the service, so I had to stop collaborating with this person (cutting losses is the best way when dealing with Karens as no matter how many changes you do they will never be happy).

And mind you I'm a "Fiverr Choice" seller and top ranked in my niche so not a newbie, 900+ orders completed successfully, and I never complain to Customer Support about anything since years and made them THOUSANDS of dollars in Fiverr Fees.

At this point they only had the watermarked work. The client eventually offered to pay for the work performed "as it is" which he had just reviewed and so I delivered it (following CS advice to cooperate to find a middle ground). The buyer stole the files and didn't pay for them as he previously agreed.

Fiverr said they couldn't force the buyer's payment but that I could possibly seek compensation with them, but the order MUST not be active, and therefore it needs cancellation. Following these instructions I initiate the cancellation. CS had poor attention to detail and thought that the buyer initiated the cancellation, as they didn't read the chat properly (no surprise). I correct them on this (in time). They said "sounds good", and "after this we can proceed to seek compensation".

After the cancellation was finalized they turned on me and blamed me for following their advice saying that because I initiated the cancellation I "played a part in it" and this would make me not eligible for compensation. I was shocked.

This became their main talking point across several CS agents. I pointed out that they omitted that this would have been an issue, and actually said quite the opposite confirming that these were the right steps, and showed them the screenshot that confirmed this.

At no point they would admit that one of the CS agent was at fault and caused damage, and just derail the conversation whenever possible. Ultimately they offered me a misery of 50$ as "appreciation"(flat-out insulting), on an order worth 200$ that I fully worked for, after they bashed me with their victim blaming attitude for weeks, and saying I should have kept working with a lying, dishonest and abusive client and it was my fault for not doing so (proven by the chat and by the fact that he stole the files and broke our agreement).

I said to them that this 50$ amount offered to me was VERY inappropriate considering what happened, but they had ZERO intention to do any better, and insisted that they will not do anything differently.

Since "transparency" apparently is one of their core values, here is some transparency for you: Disgusting incompetent behavior.

One of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. There's absolutely no continuity. Continuity is a requirement for effortless communication. Every 8 or so hours there's a new agent in charge of your case. Without continuity, communication slows down, as context needs to be repeated and confirmed. My case is still open after 3 days of this ordeal. So frustrating!
