Fix auto have been nothing short of exceptional. My car was taken in and due to some confusion it was going to take longer than I thought. I didn’t book a courtesy car but the wonderful Lisa managed to sort this out for me! Lisa went above and beyond to help me and was just so lovely and amazing - I was able to get to work because of her! Absolute brilliant work - my car is perfect again and a nice surprise with the inside being hoovered. Thankyou for everything - amazing! (Especially Lisa!) x

Excellent service and peace of mind.
I had scratched and dented car on a cement post and the work completeted is of a high standard.
Each step of the way I was contacted and updated.
Plus I was given a courtesy car whilst my car was in. The car was clean and essential for my job.
On collection of my car it fet like a brand new car. The paintwork was fantastic and the whole car was clean both inside and out.

Poor communication, poor quality of repair.

My car developed an extra fault caused by the accident and was meant to be off the road until May. Fix Auto when they found out ordered the parts and fit in fixing my car and I had it back within a week. So happy with the service though I don't want to see them again lol

The work done, was done well. But -

My vehicle was taken mid November 2022.
Unfortunately the branch had flooded, which of course slowed progress. My vehicle was then moved to Newport branch in December, which I wasn’t told.
An inspection by them was conducted, and they then ordered the required parts, which I was not told.
I called to check the progress and I was then told the above details by a manager, who was very helpful and assured me my vehicle would be finished end of January.

Early February the parts were delivered, I was told that the mechanic had inspected the vehicle for a second time, and realised more parts were needed, which pushed back the finish date again.

The second order of parts arrive.

The mechanic inspects for a third time, and of course, realises more parts are needed. And so he orders them, pushing the date back further.

3 inspections, 3 separate orders of parts, 3.5 months.
Why wasn’t the mechanic (I assume a mechanic with 2 functional eyes(?)) able to determine what parts were needed whilst conducting the first inspection?
Or second?
Why had this taken 3.5 months?
And why did someone drive my vehicle to my home, when the vehicle doesn’t have a valid MOT?

The ONLY reasons this review has 2 starts, and not 1, is because the car looks good, and the lady that answers the phone at Newport branch was nice.

The workmanship was second to none, very pleased with the finishing.

Customer service / care needs address, attitude needs to be more friendly and welcoming. Nobody acknowledged me when I walked in, just left to my own devices until one of the reception girls noticed me, and to say they were friendly is a big no no.

The receptionist Lisa was very helpful. The reason I gave four stars was that it took four days too repair.

They didn't complete the job, still left a scratch on the bonnet.
Had to go back to my insurers.
Complete nightmare.

Overall service was good with regards to the bodywork repairs. However, the courtesy car I was given was disgustingly dirty after being told it had been cleaned I soon found out this was not the case. Inside and outside were stinking, stains everywhere on the doors, dashboard and windscreen from what looked like spilt drinks and other stinky substances. Dirt, crumbs, mud etc all over the seats, dashboard, gearstick, middle compartment etc were all stinking. In the end I decided to give it a full clean inside myself as it was disgusting. Awful service with regards to the courtesy car.

A great company, very responsive with clear communication. Helpful and professional. They did an incredible job repairing scratches to my car. It looks like new.

I had a good experience with Fix Auto Newport when they fixed my car following a crash. They offered me a hire car the same day as they accepted the job, and the receptionist staff were friendly and helpful whenever I spoke to them about the repair. Couldn't fault them at all,and the car looked as good as new when I had it back.
