Excellent shop for new and preowned 0 gauge which I model in. Prices for preowned are very competitive. The shop and warehouse are contactable easily by phone and provide a good service. Their postage could be improved by offering Royal mail 24 and a courier service for more expensive items. Packaging is acceptable but could be improved for more expensive and fragile items. I review their preowned stock daily for the latest bargains as they update frequently!!

I have always had a positive attitude towards Footplate and still have. In this instance I purchased a locomotive that was labelled as excellent runner and otherwise excellent, however one of the buffers was detached into three pieces therefore not excellent but still good.

Thank you once more for helping make a decision on one of your models. Going into detail to discuss the DC/DCC route for this model. I made the right decision and the loco runs well, although running DCC on DC does mean slower operation, as a diesel shunter that would probably be normal speed. Happy with the detailed checklist for pre-owned, which was accurate too.

I ordered an azuma coach pack x 4 . It finally arrived after 3 days of royal mail messing up on deliveries. This was second hand, item arrived today and actually the pack is immaculate. Like new. Beautiful pack at a fantastic price. Really pleased. I contacted them first to ensure this was the correct pack, and they replied very quickly and it was even a bank holiday weekend. Perfect response to answer my questions. Highly recommend these people.
