The delivery time was as promised.
I assembled the kit with the stand and the machine works very well and ins most effective even on knotty wood.

I woukd happily have given 5 stars 1.)Had the correct stand bolts and fittings been included with the unit, AND
2.) Had the instructions had been accurate as to the M10 bolts being required for the stand fixing as opposed to the M8 mentioned in the instructions. The holes were threaded for M10.

This handle should have been included or built into the mulcher that is a heavy bit and unwieldy to move around without it, particularly on any surface that is not level, like where you want to locate a mulcher!

The handle itself; I had to drill and fit a self tapping screw as the plastic/rubber hand grips would stop the handle t-piece from falling out, but the handle grip bar slides from side to side. For £25 why wasn’t this welded?…

It makes I easier to move the mulcher though, so it almost does what it is supposed to do although the flimsy construction of the loading chute meant moving the mulcher using the handle resulted in the chute falling off the mulcher - a poor, flimsy design. I’ll have to re-engineer this so it is robust enough for the job at hand.

FM4DDE Compact Electric Wood Chipper is a quality piece of kit. Only downside is that it gets blocked from time to time even when taking care to remove excess greenery and trimming odd-shaped branches before feeding. Key trick is to notice when chipped material is no longer exiting the chute, but the motor is still spinning - carefully tilt the equipment forward on its foot and hold until the remaining debris slides out the chute.
On the other hand, if the motor has stopped rotating due to blockage and the safety switch automatically cuts the power, then unplug it from the mains, remove the plastic cap on the motor axel and use a socket wrench to turn the drum around until there's no longer resistance (the big silver nut, not the small black one). If this doesn't work, you'll need to unscrew and detach the hopper to unblock it, which is more time-consuming because the bolt has a long thread!

Log splitter arrived on time and delivery man was very helpful.
Splitter works perfectly - well up to the expected standard. It does all I expected it to do - and a bit more.
A stand would, I think, be a necessity but I have a sturdy bench that does the job well.
