I recently completed diploma in natural preservation. Great course and gives you all the support to create a preservation system by yourself. could start as a complete beginner and could see the difference the courses are making on you. I have done diploma in formulation, stability, preservation and many more to go. I really enjoyed and it really challenged me in several ways. It is very scientific and all the explanations are simplified too.

Formula Botanica was a fantastic experience. The course has given me the confidence to think, act and perform like a professional formulator. Thank you so much for comprehensive study material and easy to follow videos.

Mijn commentaar hierop: jullie gaan er zomaar vanuit dat mensen gestimuleerd MOETEN worden met online classrooms, contacten enz. Maar er zijn heel wat mensen die graag ALLEEN werken. Die het eigenlijk beledigend vinden te moeten lezen dat ze vermoedelijk ongemotiveerd zijn wanneer ze niet als een kind bij de hand genomen worden. Hebben jullie er eigenlijk al eens over nagedacht hoe paternalistisch dit idee is? Ja, er zullen mensen zijn die hier blij mee zijn, maar niet iedereen. Er zijn zeker mensen die heel dat online gedoe stressvol vinden, ook al omdat het in een taal moet gebeuren die niet hun moedertaal is. Ik ben zo iemand. En ik denk dat ik niet de enige ben. Jullie missen een hele doelgroep door je voor te spiegelen dat er maar één manier van leren is. Al die druk, al die fuzz, dat werkt mij persoonlijk vooral op de zenuwen. En bespaar u de moeite om te reageren dat deelname aan die online classroom niet verplicht is. Het gaat om de dwingende cultuur en de tijdsdruk die eromheen zijn gebouwd. Die bepalen de hele sfeer van de opleiding, of je nu inlogt in de classroom of niet.
En verder vind ik het onacceptabel dat ik wel betaald heb, maar niet al het materiaal heb gekregen waarvoor ik per slot van rekening betaald heb. Ik weet dat dit in jullie verkoopsvoorwaarden staat, maar eerlijk, vinden jullie dit nu zelf echt een klantvriendelijk beleid?
Ik heb afgehaakt, en waarom dan wel?
Accepteer gewoon dat mensen een opgelegd leermodel niet altijd zien zitten. En dat ze daar niet voor gestraft dienen te worden.
En nog iets: projecten indienen onder tijdsdruk dienen het leerproces nauwelijks. Jullie noemen dit een uitdaging en ja, dat is het zeker, alleen werkt het didactisch nauwelijks of zelfs helemaal niet.
Ik heb betaald om jullie cursus te volgen - online - en ik hoef verder geen vermanende vingertjes die me verplichten te studeren zoals jullie dat willen en wanneer jullie dat willen. Het gaat per slot van rekening over leren, en veel minder om presteren. (leren en presteren zijn geen synoniemen).
Als het dan toch omwille van de classroom gaat dat jullie mensen niet de beschikking geven over een volledige cursus, stel dan een regeltje in dat als je buiten je toegewezen tijdsbestek gaat, dat je dan die classroom niet meer krijgt, maar enkel het materiaal. Ik ken scholen die dat doen. En bij hen voel ik me een gerespecteerde klant.

Waarom ik deze review schreef?
De druppel die de emmer deed overlopen, was een recente marketingmail van de directie (Lorraine Dallmeier). Daarin werd onomwonden gesteld dat mijn eerder behaalde certificaat bij hen in feite "waardeloos" is voor de toekomst, tenzij ik snel opnieuw een aanzienlijk bedrag zou neertellen voor een upgrade. Deze agressieve vorm van push-marketing, waarbij angst wordt aangepraat en de eigen prestaties van studenten achteraf worden gedevalueerd om extra verkoop te forceren, getuigt van een stuitend gebrek aan respect voor de klant. Het bevestigt exact de commerciële prestatiecultuur waarin de menselijke maat is verdwenen.

Fun course. Would have loved a bit more help with formulations, basics. If you know basics, this is easy course.
