This was our 2nd trip with formula Escapes and you really can't fault anything went last year to Hungary with them was that good decided to go to Bahrain great service constant updates through out just great experience all round all ready planning the next one in baku keep up to good work guys see you soon 😉

And made a whole bunch of new friends along the way …thank you guys for another unforgettable experience

Just been to Bahrain with Chris,Rachel and the team - absolutely fantastic trip, well organised, great itinerary with everything arriving in advance.
Even when there was a technical issue with our Gulf Air aircraft and had to fly the next day the Formula Escapes Team stayed with the guests until all were sorted with overnight accommodation at Heathrow - this is clearly out of FE’s hands yet we were still looked after.
The trip was a great blend of organisation, but still having time to explore Bahrain if you wanted to alone. Great atmosphere both at the Sakhir circuit and back at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Manama (which was clean, had good facilities and was perfect for such a trip where time in the hotel is quite limited.)
Good advice was given on the local area due to the previous experience of the team which was welcome - even getting into ‘The British Club’ with our group!
We all had a great time experiencing the racing and the local nightlife of Juffair - the lads and I will definitely be travelling again with Formula Escapes -hopefully Monza next year!
To Chris, Rachel and Dan - keep doing what you’re doing - it’s spot on!

I would 1st like to say how happy I was to stumble across this company on fb. I 1st spoke to Neil who helped me make this a surprise gift for my husband he went above & beyond! Then when the day came we got to the airport & we couldn't take off due to golf airlines. That's when we met Chris & Rachel. Wot an awesome couple who made sure everyone got put up in hotels when it wasn't there responsibility. Chris was up at the crack of dawn with maybe a couple of hours sleep to make sure everyone was on the next available flight. Then when we finally arrived made sure all guests was checked in to the rooms. The whole week of the Bahrain F1 was unbelievable. We then got introduced to Dan who was there ahead making sure the guests from Manchester was all sorted! They really are the A Team! I've already recommended them with people i know that love's the F1. My husband was over the moon with his gift. So much so we are already planning to meet them for another trip. You won't be disappointed!

First time using Formula Escapes - First class trip, first class comms and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

Formula Escapes provided a fabulous experience and excellent knowledge about the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. I took my mum along to her first GP and they gave great advice such as where best to sit for the least amount of walking, placement in the stands etc. They even went above and beyond with a slight change for us during the event, it was very much appreciated.
My only teeny weeny grumble was having to wait for the transfer back after the first track day and not wanting to see the band. We could have taken a taxi back to the hotel but that might have involved quite a bit of walking which wasn't really an option. Perhaps as there were 2 pick up coaches, one could have left a little earlier for those not wanting to see the band but of course it may not have been logistically realistic. Having spoken to other people that attended through other travel companies, they didn't get the same attention to detail.
Overall, an amazing trip, now planning an F1 experience every year. Thanks guys.

THE BEST HONEYMOON!
Thank you so much again to the formula escapes team for making our honeymoon the holiday of a lifetime! The trip to the Abu Dhabi GP and the additional cruise was everything we planned and much more, the team are very knowledgable of the circuit and local areas and the top tips and advice are really helpful! The Rixos was the most amazing hotel and I can’t wait to return in the future!

WOW!!!
From start to finish the process and attentiveness has been amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris, Rachel and the team. The hotel was amazing, the F1 champions club was amazing and dancing away at the after party just topped it off. What a honeymoon we have had. Have made F1 friends for life.
We will see you in Singapore next year for there another fantastic experience.

For our second trip with F1 Escapes we went on the extended Japan tour (sadly not "Ultimate Asia" owing to work commitments). Personally I found this the right blend of organised outings and free time to explore the four cities we found ourselves in. The organisation was great and no-one got lost on either the Tokyo metro or the Shinkansen (about which we became experts). Great fun and great value - we will be using again, then only question is where to...

Great time all-round!! Me and 4 others did the Podium package at Singapore 2023, plus an extended 5 night stay in Bali. The Formula Escapes team were great with everything and all documents came through in good time ahead of travelling. The hotel choices were great in both countries and travelling with one of the best airliners I've experienced (Singapore Airlines). My group have already started to discuss next years trip (We're thinking Abu Dhabi).

We had a great experience with Formula Escapes. It was our first ever Grand Prix, and our first ever multi-stop package tour holiday so we didn't really know what to expect. We chose the Singapore & Japan trip and it was definitely worth it. The enquiry and booking process was straight forward and for the whole trip all we had to do was show up and everything was planned and organised for us. All the hotels were really nice and really well located for the tracks as well as sight seeing and exploring the local area. Chris and Rachel were great fun and just wanted to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. If there were any unforseen issues, they were very quick to deal with it or offer alternative options. Thank you Formula Escapes - We are now looking at where we can join you next year!

We recently travelled to Singapore and Japan with Formula Escapes. We have been to many previous Grand Prix both independently and with other tour companies.
Prior to going we dealt with Neil who was very prompt in answering questions. We were met in Singapore by the local representative who put us in a taxi to our hotel ( which had been changed two days before we travelled). On check in - early check in was not available which was a bit frustrating. The new Hotel Rendezvous was in a much better location than the previously allocated hotel and should definitely be considered by the company for future use. We neither saw nor heard from the rep until
A what’s app was received on Sunday evening advising a walking tour had been booked for the following day. Only 10 guests turned up, probably due to the last minute notification- nowhere in our booking had it been mentioned that this was included. The notifications of transfers back to the airport for our onward journey were made by what’s app which is fine if you have your mobile data turned on - otherwise you’d be in the dark!
This element of our journey could just as easily have been done independently as there was no interaction with any local rep other than on arrival.
When we arrived in Japan, the local rep met us and bought us airport bus tickets to get to our hotel ( an hours journey and a two hour wait) - not a great first impression. However one of the group messaged Chris who was in the hotel and he said he’d pay for taxis if we got ourselves in to groups of 4 - again this was communicated by what’s app so not seen by everyone.
Chris what’s apped a couple of ideas of things to do in Tokyo, and we were left to our own devices. Onward travel arrangements to Kyoto were again sent by what’s app as were a couple of sightseeing ideas for Kyoto. The group travelled by bullet train, whilst our luggage went by truck.
Everything worked and was delivered but it did feel that the communication of information was very last minute. A detailed itinerary beforehand would have been good for those who don’t have what’s app.
It wasn’t until the last night that a group “meet” was scheduled in the bar - perhaps a missed opportunity.
Travel to Suzuka from Kyoto is 2 hours and perhaps a slightly earlier start should be considered so that more of the track action and facilities at Suzuka can be enjoyed. Tips such as the Ferris wheel was free to go on , or take the tunnel to your seats in stand D should have been shared with all guests, even by an announcement in the coach.
Previous tour companies have provided a summary at the end of both quali and the race detailing what guests may have missed. Competition’s such as guess the pole time / driver or winner and winning time were organised and all this gave the feeling you were with a group. This was missing for me from this trip.
The Japanese guide Momo who was with us for the trip to Mount Fuji and Himeji Castle, was lovely and very informative.
Whether Chris and Rachel weren’t as engaged due to getting married as other reviews suggest they normally are I don’t know - but we’ve definitely experienced better “hosting”

The communication was very good ahead of our trip however once there it felt like we were left. Having spoken to a team member ahead of purchase and asked for advice on what the best tickets would be to we were told that our tickets would allow us access to certain grandstands, once at the track we found out that wasn't the case. After contacting formula escapes we didn't get a response despite being on wifi the messages didn’t come through. So we sorted it ourselves at the track (having to pay an additional £1000) to get grandstand tickets. On the Friday we didn't even get to see a car (having to watch on the screens) as the viewing platforms were few and full. The eventual response from the formula escape team was disappointing to say the least (with one message still going unanswered). We had also been told that there would be a member of the team 'on ground' that we could contact. I contacted the number provided in an email but that person was in the UK. The reason we chose Formula Escapes was because this was our first time attending a race overseas and wanted their ex Pericles, overall don’t feel we got good value for money. If we were to do it again we would book ourselves and do more research.

We just returned from Singapore and Japanese F1.

The whole experience went very well, the range of activities organized were great, however there is much room for improvement with communication and keeping everyone briefed well before hand on what was happening and when, rather than continuously winging it at the last moment.

Mo Mo was a STAR, a brilliant communicator and so funny....she really stood out for us..

Singapore was brilliant, wrap around entertainment what an experience..despite the price of drinks.. On arriving at the Hotel or soon after, a welcome meeting to meet other guests would have been very welcome to help mix and enhance the experience. We were left to fend for ourselves on our own for a week.. which was not a problem, however that's why we booked onto an organized trip to share our experiences..

Japan.. great people, so respectful and gratifying (us Brits have something to learn here) the F1 seats are just benches so would welcome some prior advice before the trip on options to make this more comfortable (we spotted some locals with options to add a backrest.)

Our Itinerary had us traveling back on the 28th Sept, however we found out late that we were flying back on the 29th, so had to stay in a local hotel an extra nite, bit of a pain..

Overall it was a Great Experience and will be doing more of these trips, hopefully we will see some of these comments being addressed next time round..for the benefit of all your guests.

Just returned from Singapore Grand Prix & we weren't escorted at any stage of the trip, which was unexpected & disappointing.
Taxi driver wasn't there to meet us at Singapore airport. I rang 2 of the contact numbers but both were unanswered, as I rang the 3rd contact number the driver turned up.
Dropped off at the wrong airport terminal for our trip to Bali.

Thanks to Neil and the Formula escapes team for arranging a wicked trip to Singapore.

Neil and the team were Easy to deal with and catered for all our requirements. They even made sure the Redbulls didnt win 😂.

My first GP experience with my son at Formula Escapes. What a professional set up. Chris, Rachel and Neil were great to have available for any queries you might have. A well organised trip from start to finish. I would highly recommend them for GP’s for the future. Thank you again!
