Money grabbers
Terrible Service after 3 months of dealing they send me letter saying, they have no man power to finalize my work, very unprofessional. Felicity McNally is the lady that took the job and after 2 months doing nothing she send me that letter. Be aware of this this company. They took small payment form me at the start and are not willing to pay it back.

Avoid if you want rapid progression of your house sale
Took ages replying to buyers solicitors queries and took ages replying to me. My estate agent won't deal with them again because of the delays

Very poor communication throughout the process until I demanded action. It was only when the partner in charge became involved that there was any progress with my purchase at all. Quite disappointed with the process.

First time buyer fantastic experience!
I have never needed a solicitor before now and I am a first time buyer so I did not know what to expect and I have heard it can be stressful. I have to say I cannot fault Franklins in any way as with my busy work schedule all the stress was taken away and the whole process was clearly stated at each step of the purchase which I would like to thank the following people for their involvement in my case. Joshua Finch, Candice Spencer, Jessie Samwell, and Kyle Turner.
I would use Franklins Northampton branch again and would recommend to friends and family.

An efficient and personal service.
Our house sale went through speedily and without a hitch, despite not being completely straightforward. Franklins is quite a large company, which has the advantage of availability of advice over several specialisms, although we occasionally felt communication sharing information between different departments could have been more efficient. It was good having a named contact overseeing our case, who was readily approachable and responded promptly to any queries we had.
