We signed up for a free trial to watch a movie. The movie came with enough commercial breaks to equal almost 45 minutes of commercial watching (almost every 7 minutes).
For a 9.99 a month subscription, you are not getting what you pay for as a customer. There are way too many ads to justify spending that. The movie was hard to get into because of all the ad breaks. Then, you have to go into your Amazon prime in a browser to complete cancelling subscription. They make it as difficult as they can.

My wife signed up for the free trial back in December 2024. We just found out today (Feb 17, 2025) that they charged us for a full year on Dec 17, 2024 without any notification! My wife canceled the subscription and found out we are not getting a refund for 10 months, We are stuck with a year's subscription for a service we hardly ever use! DO NOT USE FRNDLY.TV!!!

I've had FrndlyTV for a few months now. I use it as an addition to my Fubo subscription. I'm very happy with it but it's probably not for everyone.
I got it because it brings in a number of channels I don't get from Fubo and it's pretty cheap.
A lot of those channels I also receive on my outside antenna but that signal is not reliable.
From Frndly I get a steady signal and I can DVR all I want. I especially like channels like ME, ME+, Heros, Movies, History, History Military, StoryTV, Laff and Vice.
Some viewers will like Frndly due a handful of romance channels.
On the downside I was occasionally getting a screen freeze up during DVR play back. I found that the only to get out of it was close then reopen the app.
However this has not happened for some time now and is really the only issue I had with it.
Check the channel listings, if you see enough channels you like it may be worth it for you.

Tried the service and wasn’t satisfied. Sent a message via online chat on their website and an email to cancel. A few months later I was charged $83 renewal fee. Went to cancel AGAIN and asked for a refund, which they finally gave me but not before they charged a $15 cancellation fee….

We signed up for an annual subscription but after a couple weeks decided it wasn't worth the cost since so many of their offerings were also available elsewhere for free. We cancelled the subscription but was shortly charged for an additional amount. After a lengthy chat we were told that "cancellation" only cancelled the auto renewal feature not the subscription. Also THEY DON'T PROVIDE ANY REFUND ON ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS EVEN IF YOU USE THEIR SERVICE ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME. So, we're stuck with a $95 charge for a service we don't need or want.
Don't believe them when they say "cancel anytime" since you're not able to cancel an annual subscription and get any refund.

One of the least expensive and best streaming services available if you enjoy watching Hallmark channels, METV, Cozy etc.

I’ve been using them for about 3 years, and they just keep getting better.

If your in love with the “old day” tv shows then this is the app for you. Hazel, My Three Sons, Perry Mason even Our Miss Brooks to name only a few. Extremely reasonable to have these and so many more ready for you to take a step back in time. Even has Recording abilities so you can record & watch later.
