There are several things about Frontend Simplified that I feel are very beneficial and very much worth it. The instructional videos are very thorough, and easy to understand while providing a ton of information. The projects following the videos are directly related to what you just watched, and they don’t add in information that you haven’t learned yet. The biggest asset in my opinion is the Mentorship program. When you run into an issue, you can go directly to the Mentorship chat and get basically instant help and have someone work through the solution with you. Honestly, I think the longest I’ve had to wait for a response is 3-4 minutes at the absolute most. Overall, I’m very satisfied and to me it’s well worth it.

I have been a student with Frontend Simplified since November of 2025. The frontend development training is top-notch in my opinion. The program is laid out very well in that each module builds on the one before it. The other great thing about this bootcamp is the mentor team that they have. Pretty much at any time day or night, if you have a question or issue with something, you can chat with a mentor! In my experience they have always been friendly, helpful, and most of all supportive in my journey through the course! I am getting close to the end of the coursework and will soon be working on updating my portfolio of projects, getting my resume updated and then applying for jobs, which I'm extremely excited about! The only issue I have is that some of the videos use outdated versions of software. In the world of tech, I understand programs can change or be updated rather quickly, but sometimes trying to get your environment set up with the older versions takes extra time away from the actual coursework. Other than that small critique, I would highly recommend Frontend Simplified if you are looking to learn frontend web development!

The mentors, how fast they respond, and how easy-going this whole thing is! I mean, it's not easy, but it is very fun!

I am about a month into FrontEnd Simplified Program headed into my Javascript section and I can say from someone with no tech background this has been the best decision I've made. I have learned so much about coding and the support from my mentor's has been out of this world. Any time I have felt stuck or frustrated they've been there to guide me every time. 24/7 help and endless seminars and knowledge being passed on this community has been the most uplifting and I'm so excited to see how far I go into the tech world!

I've been in the program for 6-7 months so I can't speak to the job placement guarantee, but I can speak to one major negative and one major positive.

POSITIVE: Access to mentor assistance is 24/7.

Mentors either respond to questions in a few seconds by chat and/or you can schedule one-on-one calls where you can share your screen as they walk you through whatever your current coding problem is.

NEGATIVE: You can disappear for months with no accountability.

While there are mentors available 24/7, they're random so if you have a recurring issue, each time you're working on it, a different mentor will give a different solution.

I discovered on the mentor group calls that I'm not the only one who will go for months without logging in and no one checks on you. There is no system to help you be any more regular than just doing Coursera or random YouTube videos for free.

The two reasons I thought this bootcamp was worth the money were, the job guarantee and the oversight... someone making me meet deadlines better than I was doing with self-study. Don't know yet about the first but hard to find out without the second.

Makes me kind of wonder if that isn't part of the business model is most people failing to be self-starters so the job guarantee is only for the survival of the fittest...

I've been with the course since about Mid to Late January, and I honestly thought this would be far more complex and way harder than it actually was. Everything that's being taught actually does so in a way that is simple to understand, easy to apply, and skips the whole technical nitty gritty; prioritizing what actually matters in the real world! It's now March and I'm still absolutely loving it!

One of the best features is the 24/7 assistance from mentors. If you are stuck or need help you can reach out and they will be there. It is also self paced so I am able to learn on my off hours when I am not at work.

Hello! I have been with FES (Front End Simplified) for a few months and without a doubt have chose the best Front End Software Engineering online school out there by far! The training is extremely detailed, straight forward and easy to navigate through. One of the best parts of the school is the mentor program. 24/7 there are mentors that are there to assist you in any way to help with questions you may have while working on a project. They are all very friendly, attentive and give the best advice throughout your coding. I have participated in the text and Zoom options and both have been fantastic help to me. I don't feel like any question I have is not important in any way. They are also very supportive and pep you up to keep you motivated daily. FES is FUN! Yes, I said FUN! It brings me so much joy to work through difficult coding tasks and see the end result. I am changing careers and spent months and months looking for the perfect fit for me. I reviewed so many coding courses and FES was my number 1 choice. Online learning is so flexible and I can fit it in at anytime during the day or night. I plan to finish the course in the next few months (2026). I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in learning Front End Software Engineering. A++++

Self-paced, good communication, regular check-ins

The team is very helpful on how you can improve and are there pretty much 24/7 to help with anything you might need help and even give zoom call appointments for those who want to schedule and have extra help which is very useful!

I am loving the Front End Simplified Course. I like that I can learn at my own pace and love how David teaches the best practices in all the lessions. The support team is also amazing and available to help 24/7.

As a graduate of FES i can confidently say that it has been one of the best investments i have ever made in my life. This bootcamp truly makes learning seem effortless with how structured the lessons are and how great the support of the mentors is. Its amazing to see the progress as we go from module to module and its a boost of confidence once they take off the training wheels and let you create projects on your own and you are well prepared to do them. I would highly recommend taking the leap of faith in FES you will not regret it.

I need a lot of help, being brand new at this, and someone is always there to help. Especially, since I work nights and when I am working on this during my breaks, I am always able to receive help in the middle of the night.

Frontendsimplified challenges us to do our best but still the mentors are there to assist us and help us to understand the content of the sections being discussed. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting to learn to code. If I had to choose something they could improve on I would say adding links of multiple to go look at to aid us as we redesign our own site around these features we are focusing on. but the guide of David is great and all the mentors who have worked to help me understand the projects are great as well and are invaluable.
