Gecko Glazing Ltd. Avaliações

We got gecko panes for all our single glazed windows and they made a big difference. Condensation stopped and the house was noticeable warmer. They are unobtrusive too - and way cheaper and less hassle than getting new windows.

Great service from stay to finish.

The panes were easy to install and very effective insulation also for sound. The glazing bars look a little thicker but other than that that you do not notice them. The panes are all bespoke so it took 7 weeks before they arrived

Extremely helpful via email, measurements and order completed with ease, along with instillation.

The window panes look great and are working well for condensation issues.

This company goes above and beyond for its customers. I have rarely said that over the years.. Fantastic product for which we have now placed 2 orders and will be ordering more in due course. So easy with a bit of care to install and the bonus being sash windows are in their element visual big and bold with these panes hardly noticeable,. Perfect. Much better than the old bulky framed ones we had previously. Thank you for everything and il be in touch in due course.

We got sick of hoovering the windows of our Victorian flat and a friend recommended Gecko. We had Gecko install glass in most of the rooms of our 2nd floor Victorian flat and immediately noticed a difference in the warmth of the flat and muffled street noise.

We have since moved to a listed Victorian flat and have again installed Gecko. We noticed a reduction in our energy bills, less street noise and very little condensation.

I appreciate that Gecko lets you talk to a person rather than a machine or AI assistant. I have done and will continue to recommend Gecko to everyone looking for a solution for older windows that is more affordable than having new ones made.

Gecko invisible in my Georgian panes, Great product they look really neat, we hardly notice them. And excellent customer service through ordering, surveying and fitting.

Brilliant service and really decent, caring company. Were able to match my wooden frame with a darker colour for the edge of the gecko pane. Really happy with the end result. Less external noise, cuts the condensation right down and I really notice it on the window in my office especially as was quite cold sitting by window before but now feels warmer.

The secondary glazing from Gecko Glazing works as expected. Unobtrusive and easy to fit. I would recommend for sash windows if you are after a cheaper alternative to traditional secondary glazing.

Whilst I love the concept of the product and want to support a decent UK company, the lack of proactive communication on production delays and the continued lack of any tangible delivery date is unacceptable.
Blaming a busy Summer sale period is unhelpful, especially as this wasn't flagged at the time of ordering. Equally, offering vague assurances that I'll get the product as soon as the production issues are resolved, really doesn't fill me with any reassurance and certainly doesn't get me closer to an Autumn installation, which I what I expected having ordered in early August.

Really helpful team, and the panes fit beautifully. We measured ourselves the windows ourselves, and weren’t sure if they’d be ok in mullions. They are perfect!

Tremendous customer service and really happy with the final product. It has made our living room warmer and quieter and blends in perfectly with our period windows. Highly recommend!

Great product and extremely easy to fit. Really responsiveness customer service team, who are all very helpful!

Everything i hoped for. The product works is easy to fit and value for money. Very friendly and professional team who go out of their way to help with queries. It’s the answer I’ve been looking for to keep the Georgian windows I didn’t want to part with. Thank you!

We were so impressed with Gecko Glazing from the start to the end of the process.

We had to wait a little while for our appointment with their surveyor, Nick. When he arrived, though, he was excellent. He was polite, and talked me through the whole Gecko process, including showing me samples of the frames.

Once we had our quote, the support team at Gecko were lovely. They responded to emails quickly and, whenever I needed advice, they gave clear responses. Similarly clear were their installation videos. I'm terrible at DIY, but I had no problem popping in the frames.

Gecko were also really accommodating when we asked to change our order a little bit. They gave us options for non-standard colours (which we didn't end up choosing), and splitting our order up to break up the cost. They were understanding when we ordered sample panes, and even honoured a discount that we might have otherwise missed out on because our sample panes took us under the threshold.

Also, in a period where it's too easy to buy cheap knock-offs on Amazon, we felt great about having a product made and supported in Scotland.

We're dead pleased with our Gecko panes and would recommend them for anyone that finds themselves freezing in their old, single-glazed homes!

We had Gecko install their glazing in my daughter's flat. The work was carried out efficiently with the installer pointing out that two of the panes had scratches. These were reordered and installed without much delay. There is an appreciable difference in the level of noise (quieter) and heat - now much warmer.

Really pleased with my gecko windows thus far. And a much more economical way of improving sash n case insulation.

Very straight forward and efficient company.
Installer Dennis was amazing and clarified any queries etc
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Difficult to know re the longevity but I think with the proper care and maintenance will be okay
Thankyou

Excellent communication and great customer service. Everyone I met or communicated with was helpful and pleasant. The product itself was fitted a few days ago and is very smart and impressive, exactly as I'd been led to expect. It took a while to get it done though so I would advise people not to wait until the winter, like I did!

Gecko were very easy to work with from the initial contact, to the on site measuring up for the glazing panels in our 1820s New Town flat in Edinburgh to the expert installation. The price was less than I was expecting having previously installed secondary glazing in a London house. Visitors have told us they notice a difference already in noise levels and draft reduction which is good to hear. Quieter and cosier is good! I recommend Gecko especially if you live in a period property.

First and foremost - the panes are amazing. Measured my 6 panes following the instructions they provide online and placed my order. Once arrived they were easy to install and have improved the room temperature. However, I placed my order on 18 November and only received them last week. Initally I received an email on 21 Novembw4 saying theyd been dealyed by about a week. I emailed on 4 December and was told its the busiest period but they were working as hard as they can. Called them on 14 January and was told my panes would arrive by Sunday. Sunday they hadnt arrived. I left a facebook comment and was told that they would be shipped soon. They arrived on 21 January. Although there was a rather long delay they were definitly worth the wait.

I have placed and received two orders with Gecko Glazing now, and both have been exceptional. I have an 1890s Victorian semi with original leaded single glazed panes at the top of each window - very beautiful, but dreadfully inefficient, and covered in condensation.

These gecko panes have solved the issues with both condensation and the cold panes overnight. They are also a fraction of the price of looking to get the original windows replaced - which I didn’t want to do anyway.

The panes fit seamlessly into the casements and unless you’re looking for them, they’re virtually undetectable.

I’m a huge fan of this product, and the company representatives - who I had to contact with queries during their busiest time of the year - couldn’t have helped more. 10/10 great experience; I would recommend them to anyone. Order three will come imminently I’d imagine. Thanks again.
