George Hotel Edinburgh Avaliações 

This is by far the worst InterContinental hotel I have ever stayed at. The level of service was extremely disappointing and fell well below the standards I expect from the InterContinental brand.

The staff were unprofessional, unwelcoming, and showed little interest in assisting guests. As an IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite member, I expected my loyalty to be acknowledged and valued, but it was completely overlooked.

To make matters worse, the sink in my room was faulty and required maintenance during my stay. Instead of resolving the issue promptly and minimizing the inconvenience, it disrupted my stay and wasted valuable time that I had planned to spend resting.

In my opinion, this property feels more like a 4-star hotel than a true luxury InterContinental. The overall experience did not justify the premium price, especially when compared to neighboring hotels that provide significantly better service and value.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The facility is very worn and the hallways to rooms very uninviting. During my one week stay, only 1 of 2 elevators worked resulting in long waits and dangerous overcrowding when the elevator finally came. The hotel contracts with large tour groups and airline personnel so the lobby was always crowded and noisy. Large buses sat in front of the hotel. While they charged me $700/night, deep discounts were given to these groups. I had to go out and buy basic amenities such as ear swabs, cosmetic puffs, and bar soap.

The hotel, where we spent our wedding night, found out it was our 60th wedding anniversary and made our stay special. From the minute we arrived at reception until we checked out the staff were exceptional. We were given a room upgrade and there was even a framed photograph of us on our wedding day in our room. The room, amenities and service was first class. Thanks to all at The George.

i thought the hotel was beautiful although a small not particularly well designed room for the price - I think its sad that their restaurant closes at 9.15 rather silly during festival season when most shows and theatre productions finish later-

however my major complaint would be with an extremely unhelpful and rude Hanna Wiley avoid her at all cost- my train was cancelled due to storm solas - instead of trying to help she immediately said we are full tonight- she did nothing other than smirk and leave me to my own devices- what a pity most of the staff were polite and kind-

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and visit to incredible Edinburgh. The next visit is being planned.

My wife and I had a wonderful two night stay at the George Intercontinental in Edinburgh. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff and service were exceptional. Dined in the new restaurant and the food was delicious, with great service. One of the best hotel stays I have ever had.
The hotel is located right in the centre with easy access to all key sites to visit. The concierge helped us plan our sightseeing and checking in and out was simple. Highly recommend this hotel.

Me hicieron un lindo regalo de una bonificación y un pastel en nuestra habitación para mi cumpleaños. La comida también era exuberante y rica. El desayuno es único. 100% recomendable.
