We are a small but very passionate sourdough business based in London. From growing our sourdough starter to being obsessed with the best ingredients and techniques we hope to bring the joy of baking bread to more homes. We try to use the most sustainable ingredients and packaging where we can, which includes almost zero plastic when shipping (minus the packaging tape) and sourcing flour from local British mills.

Excellent starter
Starter arrived really quickly (although not next day as i had hoped). It was up and running within 4 hours and I managed to successfully bake a loaf next morning.

Hi Chris, thanks for the review. I checked to ensure your sourdough was sent the same day. Unfortunately sometimes Royal Mail takes longer than 24hrs on their 24hr service. Glad you could get baking quickly regardless!

It is half ready and instructions…
It is half ready and instructions aren't straight forward
It could be me but the dough didn't rise and the bread came out rubbary
I wouldn't recommend it just use instant yeast

Fantastic customer service
Absolutely fantastic experience. Sourdough starter arrived well packaged and ready to go. I was a bit unsure about a couple things and emailed Ruta, who got back to me straight away, answering everything I needed to know. Have made bread now which turned out amazing. Will definitely order from this company again if/when I ever need more starter.

Rye Sourdough
Rye Sourdough starter arrived quickly, nicely packed and ready to feed. Easy to follow instructions. It worked perfectly the next day and my first loaf was a cracker.

Rye sourdough starter
I ordered the rye starter which arrived safe and sound, the instructions were easy to follow and the product well packaged. I fed my starter straight away and baked my first ever sourdough next day, I am so pleased with the result.

Amazing starter

Great product & service
Good starter, amazing packaging (saved the jar from the post-man chucking the parcel over the gate!) and a brilliant maintenance guide with a timely delivery in a busy holiday. Made a great panettone and even better bread.
