We bought $100 worth of AMC gift cards with Gift Card Spread, have not use them, went to AMC today and the gift cards say closed account. They have screwed over their past customers and have reopened as giftcardoutlets.com now with no chance of getting your money back.

WARNING: The criminals running this website have established a brand new one called GiftCardOutlets in summer 2021. I was scammed by these two Indian guys there, but they have no listing on Google so I am leaving my review below on their first "business" page:

This "company" is 100% a scam. I submitted a bid for a Tractor Supply Gift Card and was counter-offered a bit less. I decided to accept their offer and provided the card number and PIN along w/ my credit card number for security. This is fairly standard for the larger, and actually legitimate gift card re-sellers, as they need to secure your card to ensure that you do not sell it to them and then turn around and use up the gift card after having pocketed the cash. I have had good experiences with cardcash.com and giftcardgranny.com in the past using this exact method. Well, I should have known better having found out this site/"company" has only been in business since this past summer. Shame on me, I should have known better.

Anyhow, 2 weeks goes by and no direct deposit has been issued. I call and get a man with a middle eastern accent who assures me it can take up to 3-4 weeks to process payments during the holiday season. Same day I check my TSC card balance and its all still there. Well, I wait until the week before Christmas as instructed and can't get anyone on the phone all week now. I login and check my TSC card and its zeroed out. Great, so someone must've purchased the card from them and spent it up (still pretty typical for a transaction like this). No, in fact found out direct from TSC that the gift card was used at a store location in the same town as this "business" is located in. Haha ok, so they were gracious enough to re-issue the gift card for me (Thanks TSC!). I reported these guys to the BBB and on a couple other scam tracking websites like this one, chalk it up as a lesson learned for myself - Be smarter about these sites and research them more before doing business lol. Well, tonight I get a $1200 transaction from target.com... then another $1200 as I'm dialing my bank's fraud hotline.... Then another $1200 on hold.... They finally get my card frozen (WTH took Navy Fed so long I have no idea, they routinely freeze my account for gassing up my truck down the road from where I live for God's sake lol). While on the phone with them waiting for a new card to be reissued and mailed, get hit with 6-7 more notifications of declined transactions at target.com for my old, and now cancelled, credit card. Guess where the merchandise was supposed to be sent? You better believe it, same town this "business" resides in.

Needless to say, these criminals aren't too bright (Ok, Admitedly they got mine and at least a few other people's info haha, but seriously mailing the goods right to yourself and using the customer's gift cards down the road?). So to sum it all up, I was lucky to make out whole on the situation with a valuable lesson... And as of 20 minutes ago, the Chicago PD has a boatload of evidence (screen shots, phone call transcripts, email communications, photos) to [hopefully] pursue these criminals in the near future. But consider yourself well warned, STAY AWAY FROM giftcardoutlets AS IT IS 1000% A SCAM.

Gift Card Spread is a SCAM!

I bought a $500 gift card pre-pandemic for a hotel. When I was finally able to use it, there was a zero balance. Customer service promised a refund 5 months ago and have made every excuse in the book to avoid paying it. Their website was down, the money was on the way, they didn't have the same value of a replacement card, and finally they are involved in litigation and can't make any payments. Avoid this company at all costs.

They took my cards and sold them on their platform. For months they tell me they are having a problem with their website and they need to resolve that first. Okay... Then on 10/8 they tell me they they are getting sued so they can't pay until that's settled. Next the story will be godzilla attacked. It feels awful to get cheated like this.

They have been removed from CardBear.com which speaks volumes.

I sold them ten $100 gift cards which they received on June 30th (sent by certified mail so I would have confirmation they were received). I was told I would get a check within 10 days. After 10 days went by with no check, I called only to be told they were having technical difficulties and they couldn't process any checks so they asked for my banking info and said I would get an ACH deposit within 2-3 days. After 4 days with no deposit, I called again to be told they were having more technical difficulties and couldn't process any payments (by check or ACH deposit) for the next 2-3 weeks. It has now been 3 and 1/2 weeks with no payment. I've tried calling multiple times and it just rings and rings with no response before going to voicemail after 15 minutes. I've sent 3 emails with no response and left multiple voicemails with no return call. I filed complaint with BBB. Complete thiefs and total scam! DO NOT USE Gift Card Spread.

I was told there was an update to my order for my $200 Sunglass Hut gift card that I tried to sell and then I couldn't log in. I did a password reset and they never sent me an e-mail about resetting it. Someone used up the gift card and I never even got paid for it. COMPLETE SCAM!

I have purchased few cards from Giftcard spread and Used them without any issues. Thanks GiftCard Spread for saving my money....

BEWARE!! I bought Southwest Airlines gift cards in 2019 and couldn’t use them immediately because of COVID travel restrictions. When I tried to use them in 2021, SEVERAL of them were already used or just no good. I contacted GIFTCARDSPREAD and was told that since the 60-day return period had expired, they wouldn’t do anything, ‘...they’re sorry...’ but I’ve lost almost $600.

I lost $500 on the site. I both Amazon gift card with ZERO money on the site ... Stay away!!!!!!!
BEWARE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS Thieves

Buyer BE WARE! I bought about a dozen gift cards over the last few years and four had a zero balance. Because I caught them quickly (within their 60 day period), they refunded my purchase price, but since this time it took 7 months to use the card, due to the pandemic, they acknowledge they gave me a bum card with a zero balance, but will not do anything about it becauese it is over the 60 day period. Strange how many zero balance gift cards they seem to have sold me. Now, I am annoyed they got my money and I got a card that has nothing on it. DO NOT USE GIFT CARD SPREAD!

I tried selling my amazon e-gift card then after a few days I lost my $35

I bought a couple of Kohl's gift cards, but after I put all my information including credit card, address, and personal information, they canceled my order without any explanation and NEVER refunded my payment. They now have all my information what is my biggest concern. I already disputed the transaction with my credit card company and reported them to the IC3 and also requested a replacement credit card. BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THOSE FRAUDSTERS!

They cancel orders with no reasons at all.

purchasing gift cards from GCS from last 2 years. I've placed multiple orders till now, i did got 2 or 3 cards zero balance in last 2 years but they were very help full to resolve my issue. i cannot blame them for zero bal cards as the seller who sold them was a thief but any way they helped me to get my money back and it was done with in 24 hours only. i ask every one to give a try make sure to use the cards with in their guarantee period to avoid bad experience.

Scam/ Fraudulent/ Theft I got proof of emails from the official website email saying my check will come in July 15, it is July 15. I put in my address, no mail or check was sent, dont put your information or giftcard , mine came back used so i got robbed.

Went through their process and they ripped me off completely. They got my five gift cards for over 200 bucks and I got nothing! They refused to pay me or send my cards back. They kept the cards and my money. Total scam. I filed BBB complaint.

SCAM!! Whatever you do, do not upload your card information to them. They will use the card and then never send you any money. There is no way to delete the card information after it has been uploaded.

AVOID THIS WEBSITE.. They sold me a itunes card that was not working. After contacting them, days later I am still waiting for them to fix it. Thank God for chargebacks

I tried to buy a gift card for the first time but my order wouldn't go through. I double and triple checked with my credit card company, then I called their customer service. They said I was blocked with no explanation as to why, but there was nothing they could do to unblock me! Now that I've read all the poor reviews of this company I understand their service is just really bad.
