Waste
For context, my bathroom was flooded due to a block in the pipe.
The company boasts that an emergency plumber will be at your door within 1 hour - I waited 2 and a half (I believe), which isn’t an issue as i was desperate for a plumber but I obviously expected the plumber to come within an hour as stated.
When the plumber arrived he walked around for 15 minutes looking at pipes etc before saying he can’t do anything. That’s fine, sometimes jobs are more complex than the customer realises. Now, this wouldn’t have been an issue but I was told I would be contacted by them to organise for a specialist to come in. This was on a Friday. The plumber left, having essentially not done anything, and I was still left with a bathroom with sewage water soaking into the vinyl and human waste filling my shower. I was not contacted until Tuesday - to which I happily ignored having had to outsource someone else to fix the issue (dyno rod - a fantastic company highly recommend). It is also worth noting that I was told that even if the problem cannot be solved same day that the plumber would at least help the situation - I thought potentially maybe the water could somehow be cleared? I am not sure.
I was still charged £147.00 by G Jassal and all I received was a plumber tell me the job was ‘f***ed’ before leaving the property having achieved the square root of f-all.
However, the people who work the phones are lovely and very helpful.

Tremendous company.
I had water leaking into a room at 5:45pm on a Friday night.
By 7pm- it was fixed.
A great experience and friendly plumber arrived.
I would absolutely use this company again.

Water tank leak
The elderly man who came to diagnose the cause of my water leak didn't report the full extent of the work that needed to be done to the company, which resulted in me receiving a second quote which was £200 more than the original one. The second guy who came to do the actual repair was courteous and helpful and was able to solve the problem(hence a 3 star review became a 4 star one). Like other reviewers, I was surprised to be charged up front,but that may be standard practice in the industry.

A very expensive mistake
I had a new bathroom installed last year and we had water coming through which left a large stain on the kitchen ceiling. I called this company ( website: Glasgow Plumbing Services) around 10am on a Tuesday (not evening, night time or weekend) and was asked to pay £147 up front for a plumber to visit, despite their website stating 'no call out charge'. I was assured the price was to guarantee a plumber that same day and for them to undertake diagnostic work and perform any fix that could be done within the hour I had paid for. He arrived at 5pm and only had a mobile phone with cracked screen for a camera and torch to explore under the shower tray. He was here for an hour but couldn't identify the leak. The next day I recieved an expensive quote of several hundred pounds for work needed to identify the leak (trace and access). I called another plumber via a Nextdoor app recommendation the next day who arrived within 3 hours and brought an endoscope (worth £70) and a high powered torch, which allowed him to identify the leak and fix it with re-sealing, the total cost was £120. Sad to say contacting this company originally feels like a very expensive mistake. I have likely saved myself hundreds of pounds and a lot of hassle by contacting a different plumber to take on the job. I do hope this company act on this feedback by reviewing their overly expensive pricing, their upfront payment policy and the poor equipment they send their plumbers out with, all of which felt unsatisfactory. It's important to highlight that the plumber they sent was professional, friendly and tried his best with the 'diagnostic' equipment he had. The office staff were also very friendly and professional when dealing with my calls. That's why this review is 2 stars and not 1.

I can only apologise that you feel this way.
When customers call for an engineer they are always told we can have an engineer out within the next 4 hours. We don't do call out charges ours is a standard diagnostic as we don't know what the engineer is going to face until he arrives.
Unfortunately on this occasion we were unable to find the cause of the leak, which is why we sent you over the quotation for a trace and locate.
If our engineers have any issue with equipment then it will be replaced, with regards to the price, the price is the price and there isn't much we can do except advise customers to take out the homecare plan.
Once again I apologise that we were unable to fix the issue for you but if there is anything else we can do for you please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Called and was out very quickly and the man was really helpful and explained the issue was with our building cause we stay in a close
Explained to the neighbor that's we are not at fault for him getting water as this is a overall building problem
So thanks to his advice ive contacted the proper channels to deal the problems within the building
Again I will use this company very soon for another wee problem we have in our kitchen

Excellent response to an emergency
Stephanie is great on the phone. She is sympathetic, efficient and calls back when she says she will. The plumber arrived around 45 minutes after my call ( this was nearly midnight) and did as much as he possibly could but sadly couldn't finish fixing the rather messy problem due to the underground location of it. He gave us some advice and returned the next day with a colleague, this time fixing the problem efficiently and cleaning up after themselves.
The callout fee was industry standard and I feel they earned their fee in this case.
I definitely recommend this team and wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if I needed similar assistance.

Had to call Jassals for an I'll relative. They arrived within quoted timeframe. David who came out explained everything he was doing, it was quite a tricky job a the leaking cistern was inside a built in unit. He successfully repaired the fault, was very courteous and tidy, would recommend.
