I’m really enjoying the classes with Global Spanish. One of the benefits of taking one on one classes is they’re personalized to suit your level as opposed to a classroom environment. I’m currently taking classes with Melisa who is very friendly, patient and accommodating. The class feels like talking to a friend and not super formal, we practice conversation for the first 40 minutes and then grammar for the final part.
I have studied Spanish in a classroom environment in Colombia before and it was grammar heavy which is important however our goal is to be able to converse with someone is Spanish.

I will definitely be taking out another package with Global Spanish and also would highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn Spanish regardless of whatever level you’re at.

If you are doubting to start learning Spanish or not i would really recommend that you try Global Spanish i have been student since the end of September last year and Andrés Barroeta has been my teacher and he has been great always explaining things so that you understand them and helping you if you have problems with for example pronouncing any words.

the things i have learned with Andrés has been very helpful as i'm actually in Colombia right now as i'm writing this and it has been fun because people actually understand what i'm saying and i understand them.

i recommend Global Spanish and Andrés or any other of their teachers as they really know what they are doing and the actually are preparing you to be able to use the language in the real world

I'm finding Andrés Barroeta to be an outstanding personal tutor and I'm going into my third month with GlobalSpanish.co. My impression is that all of the tutors at GlobalSpanish.co are of high quality and must go through an involved vetting process. I started with another tutor I was very pleased with, but due to a scheduling change on my end I switched to Andrés Barroeta and I feel I really lucked out. He brings a youthful playful energy to every meeting, which in turn improves my mood. There is zero ego and I honestly forget that he's my teacher and feel like I'm learning with a very skilled friend. Look, I could go on about what a nice guy Andrés is, but it's all about results. And I can definitively say my Spanish has improved far more under his tutelage than any of the other methods I was trying concurrently: Duolingo, YouTube, etc. I'm so glad I came across GlobalSpanish.co while following @TheJerzWay on Twitter/X.

I'm also dying to ask Andrés about music tutoring as he's got his sweet guitar in the background of every meeting ha.

If you're on the fence about becoming a Global Spanish student, stop thinking and just do it. I've been a GS student for a couple months and wish I started sooner!

It's super easy to sign up, you can choose your own lesson times, and you get to learn from native speakers 1-on-1. Basically it's everything you'd want in a language learning platform.

If you're not sure which instructor to go with, I HIGHLY recommend Andrés Barroeta. He's a patient teacher and really fun to talk to. Andrés helps you feel comfortable which makes speaking spanish way easier and more fun. Honestly couldn't be happier with Global Spanish and Andrés!

Ive been taking lessons from Andres for the past few weeks and they have been so great! I had one class with Melissa as well. Both really really awesome teachers. I would highly recommend them no matter what level youre at :)

We have been very pleased with our first few weeks of Spanish lessons from Global Spanish! The company is very easy to work with. We absolutely love our teacher, Agustin. He has great knowledge of the Spanish language and teaches the material in an engaging way. He is very fun to work with and I feel like I'm already learning a lot! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Agustin and Global Spanish to anyone wanting to learn or practice their Spanish.

My experience with Global Spanish has been incredible.

Smooth process, great service and staff, my weekly classes never once felt like a chore. In fact it’s the opposite, as learning Spanish quickly turned into the highlight of my week!

And a HUGE part of that is Melissa (Global Spanish team if you’re reading this, give her a promotion). She’s an amazing teacher who makes learning Spanish - even the tough parts like grammar structures - feel like a vacation!

She’s patient, knowledgeable and most importantly, and incredible listener. Her 15 years of experience coupled with her “natural teaching aura” not only helped me learn quicker, but gave me the confidence to actually use it in real life.

Melisa Giampietri is a great teacher, her lessons organized and she is very patient and positive when teaching the lessons. She is also a great conversationalist and asks questions to prompt practicing Spanish in real world conversations.

I've been very pleased with the process and encouragement of studying Spanish here. My Spanish journey has led me to many different places but global Spanish has been the most personal and best for me yet.

I’ve been studying with global Spanish for a couple of years now and I’m still really enjoying the learning process.I can highly recommend Melissa. She is an excellent Spanish teacher and we always have a relaxed, fun but educational lesson. She also sends me homework (if I request it) so that I can continue my studies independently.

Andrés Borroeta is very knowledgable and is very patient and knows how to articulate the meaning and purpose of the Spanish language. If you are looking for a rewarding challenge to Spanish do not hesitate to sign up to Global Spanish.

My Spanish has improved a lot since taking classes with globalspanish. Very flexible on schedule and my teacher Andres is amazing. Very thorough on content and works at a good place to cover vocab and sentence formation. Definitely would recommend !

My former Teacher Alix and my current teacher Andés Barroeta are excellent teachers for the Global Spanish process. They listen and adapt their teaching style to match the way I learn. They are patient and knowledgeable. I love going to class to learn not just the language but just as importantly they teach me about the culture. I will continue to use Global Spanish even after I become conversational to help me feel the language instead of just being able to speak and understand the words

I’ve been using global Spanish now for a good 3/4 months. The lessons are really well structured for me as a complete beginner. What makes it so good is my teacher Andres!, he’s really patient and such a fun, lovely guy he makes my lessons fun and I enjoy learning Spanish because of this!. I’m forward to being fluent in Spanish soon! :-)

Brilliant experience with Global Spanish. This was the only school that replied to me personally after my online enquiry. They took time to check in and that was why I chose them because they clearly had the personal touch and really care that you have a good experience learning Spanish.

I had a great assessment lesson with Alix - it didn’t matter that I was a total beginner, Alix put me at ease and helped me so much.

Andres was my 1-1 teacher and each lesson was excellent - friendly, structured, lots of language input and opportunity to practice. The classes were very positive and I always felt that I’d improved in language knowledge and skill.

This is a lovely, professional and positive school. I love that I had access to iamigo learning platform where I could practice more on different levels. Also it was so nice when they sent a playlist to enjoy learning Spanish with.

I am really enjoying learning Spanish with my teacher María. The lessons begin on time. They always challenge my ability so I am becoming more confident in my speaking and writing skills. Equally they are still fun and informal too. I would highly recommend Globalspanish.

Based on my experience so far, Globalspanish are extremely professional. There is a plethora of material available, which are nicely structured and accompany the lessons extremely well.
My tutor Andrés has been very knowledgeable, accommodating and patient. The lessons are adapted to your strengths and weaknesses, which makes learning enjoyable and fun.
