Altberg boots with new soles, were exactly as described in the advert the upper are used but in very good condition.

Ordered black deployment bag , arrived with ripped handles, they said i could get it repaired myself and they would knock off 10% , why would I pay to get a bag that should have been skipped repaired, then get charged £4.99 for postage , best avoid, complete waste of time.

I orderd a pair of German Para Boots. One the reasons I like these boots is because of the insoles. So, they arrived and the boots themselves are really good. However, the right boot is missing the insole. So disappointed. I don't think I'll be ordering from GoArmy again. I feel very let down!

Ordered a decent pile of surplus kit. All arrived as described and at a great price. Delivery was also extremely quick especially considering they are in Scotland and I am in Northern Ireland.

Ordered a grade 1 surplus bag from this website, received a bag that looked like it had been through both world wars. Massive tears, making it unusable, and writing in sharpie all over it. Unlikely to get a refund due to their crap refund policy. Do not order from here.

Ordered a pair of altberg defender boots. Supposedly ‘A’ grade with a new sole fitted. Quick delivery and the soles seem well fitted but the rest of the boot is not a grade, leather in the heel has been replaced poorly the eyelets are corroded and the insole looks very cheap and loose. The new sole is also not vibram like the original. Emailed to see if there had been an order mix up but no response.

Ordered 2 thermal shirts and put the wrong delivery address in, contacted GoArmy and sorted within minutes. Shirts arrived quickly and are in excellent condition, great for on the motorcycle. First class service from GoArmy.

Yeah I know it's a surplus shop but they have good stuff in store as I have been in, alot of bad items there also I wouldn't give away for free, sent me a ink damaged jacket, ink on the collar and someone's name on it, when I tired to email the email was undelivered and when I called I got nothing but a ridiculous attitude from the foreign Dutch guy or whatever he is when I said about it and he didn't want to listen and hung up, will not be shopping here ever again and have said to my friends who aren't shopping here again either, for the sake of listening to a customer and fixing their wrongs, all I wanted was a decent one not a badly worn ink damaged item I would have put in the bin, shocking service all together in every department, my advise guys is go to a decent store and shop, over priced and bad items, you are spending good money so take it else where for better stuff and better service, after reading a few reviews it seems they send alot of bad items out to online orders, shocking treatment of customers.

Just bought 5 T-shirts from GoArmy and I had change from £25. All 5 were in perfect condition and they fit beautifully. And they are not cotton - they are a modern 'smart' material which is lighter and easier to dry. I'm very happy with my purchase.
I would use GoArmy much more, but often my size is out of stock. That's a risk you take, I guess, when you buy surplus. But when it's in stock, it's good stuff.

Bought a regular shirt, a long version arrived with the label recently ripped out. Not impressed.

Probably Scotland's best surplus store (if you can find others that arn't outdoor sports shops) genuine equipment and great prices , if you are worried about quality or fit you can visit and see / pick your own

BEWARE! GOARMY.CO.UK ARE SENDING OUT RUBBISH. I ordered a pair British Lightweight MTP GORE TEX Trousers - Grade 1 on 3rd July. They arrived two days later (I'd paid for next-day delivery) with one of the two zips mangled up, stuck open halfway and not working at all. The other zip is almost as bad. These trousers are definitely not 'Grade 1' and I can't believe these trousers have been sent out in this state. I can only assume some brainless idiot posted them by mistake instead of putting them in the bin – which is where they should be. This was my first and last purchase from Goarmy.co.uk after this experience. I may be posting again here if I do not receive a FULL refund. Watch this space!

Thank you for your response. The trousers were returned to you within a couple of hours of receipt. It appeared my only option was to follow the instructions on the Returns Form included in the package. I expect nothing less than a FULL refund including the £4.99 'initial delivery charge' (which you say is non-refundable) and the £2 or £3 (quoted differently depending on where you look) you charge for the 'returns label'.

Ordered a t-shirt listed as grade 1 which according to Goarmy has no holes. the 1 i got has a hole in it.
I also ordered a mosquito net which looks like it has blood stains or something on the bottom of it.
I also paid for next day delivery ordered before there 1pm cut off and it didn't arrive the next day. Nothing i've every ordered from them has arrived the next day evan tho i paid for next day delivery.

The alice pack I received seemed in worse condition that the ones pictured but I cam deal with that but I was given 2 completely mismatched straps that are completely different colours, shapes and patterns with a huge difference in the length of strap and when I complained they tried to tell me that's how it's supposed to be which is completely untrue. I said I would settle for them just sending me 1 strap so that I could make it a matching pair but they said that wouldn't be possible. Seems utterly careless and the only options they are giving me is to return the whole bag or make do with what I've got. I certainly don't feel like a valued customer.

Bought a super grade item it looked brand new and will definitely use again.

Placed an order for an Austrian Alpine jumper paid for the overnight delivery as it was needed to go offshore with . It did not turn up until two days later after paying an extremely expensive postage . I sent the item back for a refund. Got money back for the jumper but no postage as you have to read all the terms and conditions of the postage contract . So be careful when asking for next day delivery you will not get any refund on postage … Just one other thing I would like to to add if you order a size 40 inch chest in this jumper the armpits hang down to the waist it would look absolutely stupid on anyone who was a normal build the armpits would only fit a full size Gorilla.
