Got a 2 1/2inch cat back for my LS1 VU commodore. It was to replace an old 2 1/2 that I had professionally fitted 6yrs ago. Car feels better and seems a touch quicker. Black ops make a great sounding, free flowing exhaust that fit like a glove and it was easy to install. Fast delivery and their communication was prompt and excellent. Bought a statesman 3" exhaust cat back.

Have had factory manifolds and cats on the car before the old cat back fitted a dream.

Went to tri y stock cats fitted a dream.

Gone to fit the twin 3" the cat flanges weren't flat and the centre touches long before the outside they've pulled with welding and haven't been surfaced.

I'm running two gaskets thick and we'll see how long it lasts.

They're also slightly cocked and weren't on the best angle to the cats.

The rear hanger isn't even long enough to correctly sit in the rubber. And it's one hanger , who's so cheap they fit one single hanger on a dual hanger body?

Tips come with clamps and look ridiculous cheap if you use them , if you don't the pipes are well sunk back in the bumper.

Shouldn't have to pull a welder out to fit a brand new cat back , never have before , never will seeing as I'll never buy from them again.

To top it all of I asked them yesterday if it was the wrong one before I went and made things fit. Asked for photos of all the dramas and not even a hmm that's strange I'll get back to you.

They just stopped replying then asked them this morning if it was normal to require a welder to fit they're cat back no reply.

Guess who's on the train home because they couldn't be bothered re fitting the original exhaust and one of the boys is bringing the mig over today?

Do a great job , you tell 10 people.

Do a bad job , you'll tell everyone that listens and even some that don't.

Spend the extra money on manta or at least red back.

VE/VF ute J Pipe sounds great on WN Caprice and bolted straight up to existing 2.5" x-force catback. Install was extremely easy and quick. Gives that extra deep sound without becoming obnoxious, and does also minimise drone.

Item was also posted out promptly and delivered promptly

delivery was quick and hassle free. The system was well packaged and arrived in good shape. Clear instructions, system fitted nicely to the OEM brackets and decent hardware provided. Although I couldn't get the dimensions of the mufflers i took a chance on them being smaller than the ones currently on the car, which turned out to be correct. Produces a nice note and better throttle response, which is what I was aiming for. Happy customer, system was offered as a special and freight was free, so great value for money.

I got the j pipe muffler delete for a ve commodore, fit-meant to the stock system was easy with no issues
The response time to my questions and the delivery of the product was prompt

The only thing I would say is that if we could buy individual sections of exhaust that would be great

I want to purchase the mid section by itself but I can’t
I have to purchase the car back system that includes the mufflers

Easy to order & received exactly what I ordered. The item was very well packaged & delivery was fast.

Fitted the twin 2.5 cat back with mufflers front and rear to my LS1 VY wagon (fitted the Ute version, no listing for wagons but took an educated guess). Seems to be well made, good welds and bends. Nice X pipe. Well priced too. Two small issues; upon fitting was contacting the diff and the heat shield for the the rear muffler. After some tweaking got some clearance. Sounds good, just has a bit of a drone at low rpm under load and a vibration at idle (may still be contacting something, need to get it back on a hoist and investigate).

overall good quality product delivery was great, the only issues was that the left side pipe was out of shape therefore it was a bit of mocking around to fit the exhaust end, besides that the sound is great and it look awesome too
