I have had 6 laser treatments with Daiva for broken veins on my face from rosacea, I was anxious about starting treatment and making my skin worse but after extensive research found Good Skin Days. Daiva was friendly and quickly put me at ease. I’m very glad I went ahead as the treatment exceeded my expectations, broken veins have gone, less flushing now and the persistent redness is less noticeable. I’ve struggled for 15+ years with rosacea and it impacting on my self confidence. I’m now feeling much happier with my skin.

This was my 2nd appointment for laser treatment on my facial thread veins. It was very noticeable that the intensity of the laser had really increased this time round which left me wondering why I hadnt had the same intensity first of all given that I've had years of NHS treatment for the same condition. The second session has made a difference but I feel that I could have had the whole of my face treated in 2 rather than 3 sessions given how ineffective the first sessions was. I will be going back for a third session which should be more than enough providing the laser intensity is maintained. (can't recall the exact date of my appointment, but this took place in February 2023)

Very professional staff from reception to the clinicians. The most up to date lasers give great results in even tricky areas. Minimal tingly pain and much better value hair removal than waxing.

As always excellent service from all the staff I had any involvement with. Exceptionally clean and the room where I received my treatment was very much a sterile environment. Nothing too much trouble and the treatment I received was fully explained to me beforehand and also during the treatment itself. Highly recommended.

I have been coming to GSD for just under a year now for my laser hair removal. I visit Daiva every 6 weeks, she is very professional but so lovely and friendly. I always feel so at ease when I see her at my appointments. The treatment itself is also not painful - simply feels like little elastic bands on the hitting on the skin. I think my fear was always laser being extremely painful! If you’re considering laser hair removal then I would definitely recommend GSD!!!

Review of medical treatment at Skin Surgery Clinic in Guiseley:

I was very fortunate to have David Watt, consultant plastic surgeon and Skin Surgery Clinic’s medical director, to remove a basal cell carcinoma (skin cancer) from quite a prominent place in the hairline at the centre of my forehead.
In the initial consultation, David carefully explained the best treatment, had the time and patience to answer all my questions and clearly had had a lot of experience in this procedure.
During the operation, he was supported by both a nurse and a healthcare assistant: David, Christine and Nicola were all calm, friendly and professional.
The procedure was done under local anaesthetic and was quick and almost painless. The result is excellent and I have been given a lot of very specific advice on after-care.
I am not a person who normally uses private medicine but it seemed that the NHS would have taken to do the excision so I was glad to find this clinic.
The clinic is easy to access, with a modern and open layout and good parking, and everyone had time to help me. I have nothing but praise for the whole experience.

I've had four out of six skin tightening facial treatments with Mary and am very happy with the results so far. My skin looks plumper, healthier with a subtle visible reduction in eye wrinkles. Skin is glowing and looks so much healthier. Mary explains every detail of the process and creates a calm and relaxing experience. Would totally recommend.
