🚨 Review — Please Avoid This Company at All Costs 🚨
I approached this company after seeing positive reviews online and assumed they were a legitimate lender helping businesses with short-term funding. After shopping around, I was genuinely shocked when I received their contract.
They advertise that they “purchase your receivables” and will only take around 9% of your business revenue, but the reality is nothing like that. Their offer was structured in a way that forces you to pay back 48% more than what you receive. That alone is absolutely outrageous and predatory. It’s loan-shark behaviour disguised as business funding.
The worst part is how they collect the money. They don’t actually take 9% of your revenue — they take a fixed daily amount, like £30–£40 per weekday, whether your business earns or not. If you have a slow period, it doesn’t matter. They still take it. If you miss a day, they simply add it to the next one.
They also claim it’s not personally guaranteed, but then:
• They run hard personal credit searches, and call it “fraud prevention”
• They hide clauses stating the Director is personally liable for the debt
• They bury conditions that allow them to go after you directly
Even worse, almost anything can be considered a breach:
• Changing your payment terminal
• Taking on another form of funding
• Switching bank accounts
• Not sending documents fast enough
They can trigger a default over the smallest operational changes — the entire agreement is designed to trap you.
And when you try to speak to someone?
They never pick up the phone.
They’re quick to respond when they’re selling you the product, but once they’ve got you locked in, you are on your own.
Everything about the way they operate is misleading and aggressive. They present themselves as a company helping small businesses grow, but the reality is a predatory product designed to squeeze struggling business owners. They are not lenders supporting growth — they are loan sharks with contracts crafted to exploit the vulnerable.
Please be extremely careful. Read every line. Do not be fooled by the reviews or the sales pitch. The real cost, the terms, and the personal liability are dangerously extreme.

Thanks for your message. Given the pernicious and misleading nature of this review, please allow us to address and clarify certain points raised.
As our funding advances are unsecured, risk and affordability — based on both the business and the owner — are key factors in determining any offer. In this case, the application presented a very high level of risk (which was reflected in the offer and fixed repayment amount).
Our business funding advances do not require a personal guarantee (e.g. posting personal collateral to secure the finance). The indemnity you mentioned is an Anti-Fraud Indemnity. The anti-fraud indemnity only applies in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, or deliberate non-payment. Typically those most likely to engage in fraud, are the ones most likely to protest against such normal contractual safeguards.
Additional clauses mentioned - such as registering our interest in receivables or including a power of attorney - are standard industry safeguards, normal for business funding advances.
The terms are clearly outlined and entirely optional - nothing is hidden as suggested. All prospective clients receive full terms and repayment schedules upfront (confirmed via email, phone, and recorded video calls) ahead of confirming any agreement. We are committed to treating every applicant fairly, transparently, and without prejudice — and that will never change.
Regarding repayments, we work closely with clients who sometimes experience revenue fluctuations and help them navigate through challenging periods for their businesses, setting up affordable payment plans catered to their current circumstances.
For those clients who'd like to settle their fixed balance earlier, typically we're able to offer early repayment discounts.

Very disappointing
I have had four business loans with Got Capital, and in the beginning our relationship was positive and mutually beneficial. However, during a difficult period in my business, I felt that I was met with very little understanding or support. Despite being a loyal, long-standing client with an annual turnover of over a quarter of a million, I was not only declined for further funding but also denied the chance to speak with an advisor to discuss the situation or explore how we might rebuild and continue working together.
I valued my relationship with Got Capital and the role they played in supporting my business in the past, which is why this experience has been particularly disappointing. Rather than feeling like a valued partner, I felt disregarded at a time when I needed guidance the most.
