I’ve waited a while to write this review, because there have been four parts to it. Having decided to invest in Solar panels I approached a number of companies and received a wide range of quotes. GRC Solar stood out for their customer service. The installation was hassle free and very neat and tidy. At the time there was a problem with delivery of the battery, due to problems in China so it was finally installed four months after the panels. All is working beautifully and greatly reduces my utility bills. The last part was applying for export of the residual electricity. Here again a member of GRC Solar came to help me, doing the application on my behalf. A truly excellent company

Great experience with GRC from start to finish. From the initial visit by Andrew to the actual fitting of our panels, inverter and batteries, it's been seamless. The team doing the fitting were great and were done in less than a day, we had 15 panels, three batteries and one inverter so not a small system. They were very polite and extremely tidy as well. Very pleased with how quickly the paperwork after completion came through. We would highly recommend GRC.

We have had a very positive experience from first contact to installation and after sales. We had an initial visit where we got all explained and the panels where installed within two weeks. The central office staff are very helpful and quick to reply when consulted. The installers tried to minimise disruption and did a good job.
The system has has some issues but these were resolved and is now working very well.
We are happy from every angle and would be confident to recommend GRC Solar to friends, neighbours and colleagues.

GRC Solar, what a fabulous company. I recently had a 14 panel system installed an it couldn’t of went any smoother. From the 1st call to the after sale service, Andrew is always on hand to help with any questions even after hours also. Our experience with GRC solar has been very straight forward from our first enquiry. Through to the fitting and the follow up after service.Andrew explained everything clearly and explained everything we wanted to know.Then a team of fitters came 2 weeks later,what a team,They worked non-stop throughout the day and we were all done and dusted no problem.! The follow up in the office is still ongoing whenever we have another query. I appreciate the help. Ian & Elliot have been and still are very helpful,they sorted everything for us .Even the Sunshine for the first two weeks! Very satisfied.

From the helpful and informative survey to the reasonably-priced quote and very prompt and efficient installation, GRC Solar Ltd gave outstanding service throughout.

When we decided to have Solar Panels and batteries, we contacted 12 solar panel companies to start with to get information and prices. 6 of them did not even bother to reply. With 5 of the other 6, trying to get information and a quote was like pulling teeth. GRC SOLAR were different in that they were very helpful, informative and pro active right from the start. We finally got 4 quotes and GRC Solar was the best by a long shot. The installation took place as arranged and we had two minor issues which GRC Solar sorted out without fuss or quibble.
A Mobile phone app is provided which is used to check on how the Solar Panels are working. GRC Solar got a very friendly and helpful guy called Jonathan to come to our house and show us how it worked.
We had a Solar system installed with Batteries so we could also claim the Smart Export Tariff (used to be FIT). Trying to provide the required information to claim this was a nightmare, so GRC Solar sent Ian, another very helpful and friendly guy to our house and he did everything for us!! Talk about excellent customer service - BRILLIANT!!
At the time of writing this review (May 2023) we are paying NOTHING for our Electricity which is provided in the daytime from the Solar Panels and in the evening from the Batteries that are charged up during the day by the Solar panels.
We cannot recommend GRC Solar strongly enough for the product, price and incredible ongoing customer service.

No problem with the product and the installation took place very quickly after we paid the deposit. However, I was not very happy with the installation team - they broke my guttering, left litter all over the verge outside my house and didn't ask me to move various things in the garage before drilling the fixings for the cabling so all my bikes got covered in dust. To GRC's credit they did fix the gutter before the scaffolding came down. I have also been left with a load of unused cables and fixings. I would thought that a solar panel company would have environmental considerations at the heart of their business and would try to minimise waste. As it stands it looks like I will have to take all this used kit to my local recycling site when it should have been used on the next job

GRC Solar did exactly what they said they would do, on time and on budget. The two Jamie's, Nicola, Leighton, Elliot and Ian are always on hand to provide advice and together we took three weeks to optimise the system. I even decided to get two additional 2.4kw batteries as the generation is excellent, and I can store more than I expected. The scaffolders did a neat job and any mess made during the installation was quickly patched up, always check your gutters for damage and blockages before the scaffold comes down. GRC Solar know what they are doing and the installation team, a separate but related team, are real electricians, and are always contactable. All components of GRC Solar are recommended and if you need to check with a customer I am always happy to provide recent and relevant advice. Get the side bird netting fitted, it saves a load of hassle. I will update this review as the system matures and autumn and winter come back into contention.

Excellent service, quick tidy installation. Explained the system clearly. The app is Easy to understand. Any problems Ian is at the end of the phone. We have already saved a lot of money.

GRC Solar were very informative explaining how everything works. They were quick and efficient fitting the solar panels, leaving my home clean and tidy.

Very professional and competent team from intital survey to installation, and the job was completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. This solar installation has massively reduced our electricity bills and it is a no-brainer decision to have this system. Technical and other support from the GRC Team is second to none, a brilliant service all-round. A big thumbs up from us.

We had excellent service from GRC solar team. Andrew and his team were very professional right from the initial meeting to the installation. We found them to be very honest, always willing to clarify any questions we had and tailored the equipment to suit our needs. Iwan from the installation team was excellent during the installation and has done a great job. We installed recently and so far I have found them to be very good with after care, especially with the support of the app settings. We would highly recommend them.

What can I say about this company? Well here goes. Absolutely delighted from start to finish. From the first visit to the switch on was made so easy. I have never made snap decisions, I research, research and research again before I do. I KNOW I have made a smart choice with this company. My 'newbie' questions were answered, the process was explained start to finish. Andrew, Ian and the fitters were a delight, well mannered and tidy. What impressed me also was they fitted a system that was right for my house not too big, not too small. Bespoke. I can see in real time how my system is performing and right now on a cloudy day I'm off grid. What's not to like! Thank you GRC.

Superb from the get go. The professionalism was and continues to be unparalleled. Nothing is too much trouble. Andy was to hand answering questions even deep into the evenings, a very important aspect of this company, which you don't experience elsewhere. (It's quite handy to be able to have an answer at the end of the line whenever you need one). I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, indeed we have used them twice within 3 months.
